Jesus Christ is Our Reservoir of Life

Jesus Christ is our living water and when we drink of this living water we will thirst no more. I woke up this morning with this amazing joy within my soul and the thought came to me that a mind fixed on Jesus Christ is like a resovoir of living water. One thing I know about the resovoir is that is never stops flow and there is always supply of water whenever people are in need.As believers we can rest assured that Christ will allow His grace to flow over daily. Christ will allow us to experience His love daily. In the scripture his said:John 4:14: "But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life".While Christ is the reservoir (the source), believers are meant to be rivers. As individuals receive from the reservoir of Christ, they are intended to become conduits of that grace, with "rivers of living water" flowing from their hearts to others. The deep joy we feel inside should allow us to flow with grace and impact the lives around us. One thing I know for sure if that when God is in the midst of everything we do, our hearts are at peace.

    Going Not Knowing

How many of us have ever gotten some blind instructions and we're like what should I or how can I navigate this journey? Our Lord is such a wonderful Dad because every mission He sent us on whether big or small, though it may seems like there is no instructions, the Lord always makes provisions.Yes my friends, provision is already been made. Let's explore two people in the Bible who went without knowing what the outcome will be. Abraham received an instruction from God to leave his mother and father house and go to a land that God has prepared for him. Ruth after the death of her husband decided to follow Naomi back to Naomi's homeland without knowing the outcome.  Am going to show you something here, both of them went to a foreign land. Both of them followed the instructions. Both of them am sure at times felt like an outcast in those land. And this is the most beautiful part of it all both of them trusted God. Ruth trust in the sovereign God developed by observing Naomi faith. Ruth's response to Naomi was “Entreat me not to leave you, Or to turn back from following after you; For wherever you go, I will go; And wherever you lodge, I will lodge; Your people shall be my people, And your God, my God. Ruth 1:16.You may a foreigner in a strange land but let me remind you that the provision is already been made. Do not compromise. Do not get weary. Do not loose focus. Do not get discouraged. Hold on to the promise which God gave to you. It may feel as though things are different but let me remind you that when God is ready to bring us into purpose He will separate us from the things which will distracts us. He will strip us of everything that will make us depend on Him our Lord and Savior. Here's a testimony for me:I am grateful to be in Canada today because honestly the Lord knows if I had remained in Jamaica perhaps things will not be like it is today. After leaving high school, I had the opportunity to do youth service once and the second time I was rejected. I applied for Utech and was rejected. I applied for multiple jobs and was rejected. In the year too my sister tried to take me to Canada and my application was rejected.eIt was rejection upon rejection. At that time I also felt discouraged because some of my grades on my CXC results were not the best according to society. My dad advised me to resist the courses I got a grade 3 in and perhaps I will get a job. I know he didn't have the money to help me do it and so I told him I will redo Math alone since I got a grade 4 in it. I took the time and went to evening classes to do math. I did failed it a few times but I never gave up. Fast forward to 2015, my application was put in again to come to Canada and everything went smoothly. I remember also during the year 2015 I decided to stop worrying about school or work and just dedicate my life to serving my grandmother and doing church work. I did also started a small business on the side helping my mom to sell her phone cards, bleach, polish, and much more.At that time I felt okay. I was happy because I was taking of my grandmother and I am glad I got the chance to do so before she left us to heaven. So not I was turning 20 and transitioning to a foreign land. I was excited and sad at the same time. I was leaving my grandmother behind and I wasn't sure if I was going to see her again. I cried that night so much but I know she was happy that I got the opportunity to leave Jamaica because always wants me to be happy and excels. Everything that we have today it's all because of our Abba Father. Trust Him wholeheartedly and do not faint. Always remember, when the Lord wants to bring us into purpose He will strip us and if he removes us from a place trust me he will not make us go back.

GIVE THANKS WITH A GRATEFUL HEART

As we pause to reflect on this thanksgiving day or season, I would like to ask us what is it that you are grateful for? This should be a reflection we do all year around I must say because our heavenly Father has done so much for us. Many of us can say that we are grateful to God for sparing our lives... providing for us in a time of need..... protecting us when we were headed for great danger.... allow us to access various opportunities or even allowing some doors to close that were not gonna benefit us.Our heavenly Father loves us so much and for that we ought to be grateful. As we gather this season, may our hearts be filled not just with food and fellowship, but with deep gratitude for God’s steadfast love. Gratitude is more than a feeling—it is an act of faith. It’s trusting that even in seasons of lack, God’s goodness still surrounds us.Paul reminds us that, “In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” (1 Thessalonians 5:18). Notice he didn’t say for everything, but in everything because gratitude is not about pretending life is perfect, but about recognizing that God is present and working in every moment. This season , take the time to reflect. Look back and see how far the Lord has brought you. Remember the doors He opened, the tears He turned into joy, the experiences that gives us wisdom and the peace He gave when life felt uncertain. Each breath is a reminder of grace.May your gratitude become worship, and your worship become strength. As you thank God for what you have, trust Him for what is yet to come.Thank God for His faithfulness that never fails. Ask Him to teach us to live in gratitude, not just today, but every day. Ask Him to help us to see Your hand in all things and to give thanks with joyful hearts. Amen.

  27. 57

    WHO IS GOD TO YOU?

Our God is not a genie in a boxOur God is a present help in time of trouble Our God is always there with us.He will not leave us nor forsake So rest assured that God cares alot about you

God has laid on Him our iniquities

Isaiah 53:6King James Version6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.No matter how far we have gone, Christ still gives us access to His throne. No matter what we have done once we go to Him in sincere repentance, He forgives us. Focus on God who is our helper. Spend time in the presence of God and all will be alright.

  30. 54

Oppressed, Seek God. Oppressed, Trust God.

Isaiah 53:5-7King James Version5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. No matter what we go through in life, know that God has control over our lives. Continue to seek God. Continue to trust God. Let God be Your guide. Stop complaining when you face oppression and seek God. Spend time in God's presence daily and give over everything to Him.
