Israel Connections: Tzefaniah Pappas - Ephraim, Judah, and Jealousy

One of the items to be addressed in the Messianic age is the enmity between Christians and Jews. These are the two halves of God’s Covenant People of Israel, identifiable in scripture as Ephraim and Judah. Isaiah tells us what their reconciliation will look like:The jealousy of Ephraim shall depart, and those who harass Judah shall be cut off;Ephraim shall not be jealous of Judah, and Judah shall not harass Ephraim.Isaiah 11:13 ESVIsaiah doesn’t tell us exactly how this will happen, which is why it’s wise to ask our Heavenly Father about it. Tzefania Pappas has not only done that, but he and his wife, Reyyna, have been walking out the counsel they have received from the Lord to do their part in healing this breach. In this special podcast, Tzefania shares a word he recently received about Ephraim’s attitudes and actions toward our Jewish brethren, which can be described as detached, distant, out of place, and aloof. There is hope, of course. As Tzefania explains, the God of Israel has a plan to heal this breach and fulfill his promises – and he calls on all of us to do our part! Thanks for listening to Reunion Roadmap! Reunion Roadmap Midrash: The Priest's Armor

The Armor of God isn't complicated - or is it? Maybe there's more to what Paul meant when he described this spiritual armor in Ephesians 6. That's what David Jones and Barry Phillips discuss. Thanks for listening to Reunion Roadmap! Israel Connections: Ray Myers - Under the Tallit

Ray Myers lives to praise the Lord. His journey has taught him some valuable, and often difficult, lessons about how to praise our Creator with every aspect of our lives. Ray shares the story of his walk with Yeshua – which includes some significant times of correction. Through it all, he has continued to write and sing songs of praise, worship, and biblical instruction. Lately he has learned how to incorporate Artificial Intelligence in his creative process, which has opened a new realm of possibilities through his AI persona, Under the Tallit.  Thanks for listening to Reunion Roadmap! Reunion Roadmap Midrash: Do You Need an Oil Change?

Sometimes we hear revival described as fresh oil from our Heavenly Father. What if we've got that the wrong way around - as in, we provide the oil that keeps the fire burning before His Presence? If so, then where does that oil come from? That's what Barry Phillips and David Jones discuss in this midrash. Thanks for listening to Reunion Roadmap! Ray Myers: Under the Tallit, part 4

Don’t let anything stop you from exercising the creativity God put in you. That’s the message Ray Myers leaves with us in this closing segment of our conversation. As we have heard in the previous segments, Ray has lived that message through music, and is learning how to multiply his talents through the technology of Artificial Intelligence. We are blessed to hear three examples of Ray’s music as performed through his AI persona, Under the Tallit.  A major part of Ray’s testimony concerns his journey of repentance, or teshuva, as he worked through trials and troubles, much of which was of his own making. That’s a journey we must all make, as we hear from Barry Phillips and David Jones in their midrash called, “Teshuva.”Ray’s music is available on Spotify and iTunes at Under the Tallit. Thanks for listening to Reunion Roadmap! Reunion Roadmap Midrash: The Laver

Yeshua opened the way for us to approach the Presence of the Almighty, but, as Barry Phillips and David Jones explain, that doesn't mean we can walk right in and sit on His lap. Thanks for listening to Reunion Roadmap! Ray Myers: Under the Tallit, part 3

Did you ever encounter God so profoundly that the earth began to shake under you? That’s how Ray Myers describes the continuing encounter with our Creator that has moved him to create worship music through AI persona, Under the Tallit. In this third part of our conversation, Ray talks through the legitimate questions God’s people should be asking about the technology of Artificial Intelligence. The fact is, it’s here to stay, so what would our Father have us do with it? The question really comes down to what Barry Phillips and David Jones ask in their midrash: “How Set Apart is Set Apart?” We are set apart as holy, but what does that mean? It’s a question presented also through the music of Under the Tallit. Ray’s music is available on Spotify and iTunes at Under the Tallit. Thanks for listening to Reunion Roadmap! Reunion Roadmap Midrash: The Heavens Declare

Psalm 19 says that the heavens declare the glory of God. What exactly does that mean? What do we gain from learning the story of the stars? Is that even permitted for followers of Yeshua? Yes, it is permitted, and even helpful for understanding the times. That's what Elder Mark Webb explains as he joins Barry Phillips in this special midrash series. In December 2020 and January 2021, Mark and Barry recorded three conversations about unusual astronomical activity occurring at the time of the controversy and division over the elections in the United States. What did these signs in the heavens mean? That's what they discuss, both in this audio podcast and in the accompanying YouTube videos linked below.Signs in the Heavens, part 1Signs in the Heavens, part 2Signs in the Heavens, part 3Thanks for listening to Reunion Roadmap! Ray Myers: Under the Tallit, part 2

If we don’t appreciate people misrepresenting us, what does God think about people who misrepresent Him? Misrepresenting God happens in many ways, such as when those who profess to know and follow Him act no differently than the rest of the world. That’s why Ray Myers says God insisted he become “squeaky clean” if he was going to represent his heavenly Father. That’s how Ray begins this second segment of our conversation. It’s not enough to walk in the gifts and anointings of God if we’re not faithfully bearing his image.Ray’s testimony brings up another question: is it possible to be a faithful image bearer of our Father while using man-made technological innovations like Artificial Intelligence? Ray’s experience producing music through his AI persona, Under the Tallit, gives him some informed answers.Ray does have an anointing for worship through music, as we hear in the featured selections from Under the Tallit. But then, what exactly is “anointing”, and what does it do? That’s the question Barry Phillips and David Jones investigate in their midrash, “Anointing Breaks the Yoke.”Ray’s music is available on Spotify and iTunes at Under the Tallit. Thanks for listening to Reunion Roadmap! Israel Connections: Pastor Joe Hufstetler - Ambassador for Israel

Pastor Joe Hufstetler just connected deeply with the land and people of Israel. As Senior Pastor of Destination Church in Valrico, Florida, he has prayed for and supported Israel and the Jewish people for many years. That’s why he was eager to accept an invitation to be part of the Ambassador Summit 2025 in Israel as a guest of Friends of Zion and the Government of Israel. In this interview, Joe shares what he learned in that intense week in the Promised Land, and what that experience has inspired him to do.As Joe explains, propaganda should never be louder than the pulpit. He has learned first-hand about the miracle of Israel, the resilience of the Jewish people, and the pervasive opposition they face from every part of the globe. Joe has experienced that opposition directly, but instead of being silenced, he’s now more motivated than ever to share the good news about how God is coming through on His promises to restore his people of Israel to their ancestral homeland and bring blessing to the world! To learn more about Destination Church, visit https://www.destination-church.com/To learn more about Friends of Zion, visit https://www.destination-church.com/Thanks for listening to Reunion Roadmap! Ray Myers: Under the Tallit, part 1

Ray Myers lives to praise the Lord. His journey has taught him some valuable, and often difficult, lessons about how to praise our Creator with every aspect of our lives. In this first part of our four-part conversation, Ray shares the story of his walk with Yeshua – which includes some significant times of correction. Through it all, he has continued to write and sing songs of praise, worship, and biblical instruction. Lately he has learned how to incorporate Artificial Intelligence in his creative process, which has opened a new realm of possibilities through his AI persona, Under the Tallit.  The music of Under the Tallit accentuates the discussion Barry Phillips and David Jones share about lingering in the presence of the Almighty long enough to be transformed by His Spirit. That’s the point of ttheir midrash, “Life in the Courtyard.” Ray’s music is available on Spotify and iTunes at Under the Tallit. Thanks for listening to Reunion Roadmap! Reunion Roadmap Midrash: Believe in the Elohim That Believes in You

Is it possible that we don't see God move because He is waiting on us? It could be that our faith is too small, or maybe we're simply not understanding that He expects us to demonstrate our faith by taking action. That's the idea Barry Phillips and David Jones discuss in this conversation. Thanks for listening to Reunion Roadmap! Pastor Joe Hufstetler: Ambassador for Israel, part 3

Propaganda should never be louder than the pulpit, although too often it is. That’s why Pastor Joe Hufstetler and hundreds of other pastors were invited to Israel to learn the truth about God’s land and people. Now that they are equipped as ambassadors to share this truth, Joe and his colleagues are eager to spread the good news about how God is coming through on His promises to restore his people of Israel to their ancestral homeland and bring blessing to the world! As with all things of God, the restoration and final redemption of Israel is a process. It’s not something our Heavenly Father is doing alone, but in partnership with His people. That’s what Barry Phillips and David Jones discuss in their midrash, “There Goes The Neighborhood,” and what Dylan White shares in his music. To learn more about Destination Church, visit https://www.destination-church.com/To learn more about Friends of Zion, visit https://friendsofzion.com/Thanks for listening to Reunion Roadmap! 14. 393

Pastor Joe Hufstetler: Ambassador for Israel, part 2

The most powerful testimonies come from the places of deepest pain. Pastor Joe Hufstetler shares insight on that from two vantage points: as a pastor who has seen God work in the lives of the people he pastors, and in the lives of Israelis who are still wrestling with the trauma of the October 7, 2023, Hamas invasion. In his recent sojourn in Israel as part of the Friends of Zion 2025 Pastor Summit, he not only learned what the Jewish people and the Jewish State of Israel are dealing with on multiple levels, he also very quickly encountered the same kind of virulent antisemitism that continues to plague them. Yet instead of driving him away, this challenge has inspired Joe to a greater resolve to support God’s Covenant People in every way he can. Pastor Joe is demonstrating his faith through his actions, just as the righteous have done since the days of Abraham. That’s what Barry Phillips and David Jones talk about in their midrash, “Inside-Out Faith”. It’s the kind of faith Mason Clover and Laura Metzing sing about in the music they share with us.Thanks for listening to Reunion Roadmap! Pastor Joe Hufstetler just connected deeply with the land and people of Israel. That’s why he was eager to accept an invitation to be part of the Ambassador Summit 2025 in Israel as a guest of Friends of Zion and the Government of Israel. In this three-part interview, Joe shares what he learned in that intense week in the Promised Land, and what that experience has inspired him to do.  Since the Hamas invasion of October 7, 2023, Israel and Jewish communities worldwide have endured a season of great darkness. Is there a redemptive purpose behind that? Barry Phillips and David Jones explore that question in their midrash, “Darkness.” As they share, and as we hear in the music of Teshuva, this has much to do with God’s promise of resurrection. To learn more about Destination Church, visit https://www.destination-church.com/To learn more about Friends of Zion, visit https://friendsofzion.com/Thanks for listening to Reunion Roadmap! Reunion Roadmap Midrash: Dual Covenant?

God is at work on behalf of Christians. Whether we call him Jesus or Yeshua, those who follow him have a testimony of relationship with the God of the universe. But it's also clear that God is at work on behalf of Jews - especially since the Jewish people have returned to the Promised Land of Israel and are flourishing just as God promised. How are we to understand this? That's the question David Jones and Barry Phillips investigate in this midrash. Thanks for listening to Reunion Roadmap! Reunion Roadmap Midrash: Forgive and Forget

Offenses happen. That's an inevitable part of life. In the Bible we read that God expects us to forgive those who have offended us, but how do we do that if the hurt we have suffered is severe, or if the one who hurt us shows no remorse? Are the events Yeshua spoke about in Matthew 24 a checklist of things we should look for prior to His coming, or are they things we get to live through while we carry His love to the world? Israel Connections: Bev Hall & Cathy Helms - Called Up to Jerusalem

It’s one thing to read about history. It’s quite another to be there when history is made, as Beverly Hall and Cathy Helms know from experience. They were in Jerusalem when the Israel’s ceasefire with Hamas went into effect, when the living Israeli hostages were released from Gaza, and when President Donald Trump addressed the Knesset. Their three-week sojourn in Israel involved many divine appointments in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Tiberias, giving them keen insight into what God is doing to narrow the gap between Christians and Jews and establish Jerusalem as a praise in the earth!  Those who have not been to Israel may not realize how diverse it is. Even among Israel’s seven million Jewish citizens there is considerable diversity, as Bev and Cathy found out. It was their intent to immerse themselves in Israeli culture and get to know the people. That’s how they encountered Israelis from many different backgrounds, ethnicities, and religious (or non-religious) outlook. They had ample opportunity to witness and take part in Jewish-Christian interactions on several levels, leading to their conclusion that the breach between Jews and Christians is being narrowed. What’s the outlook for the future of Israel and those who love Israel? There are always trials and rough spots, but Bev and Cathy affirm the promises of Israel’s God in this very good report from the Promised Land!To learn more about the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem ICEJ, visit https://icejusa.org/To learn more about the Aliyah Return Center, visit https://www.return.co.il/arc-aliyah-return-centerCover Photo: ICEJ Feast of Tabernacles 2025 Day 4, October 13, 2025, photo by by Joao Campos; inset: Cathy Helms (L) and Bev Hall (R) with Gerald from ICEJ.Thanks for listening to Reunion Roadmap! Reunion Roadmap Midrash: Praying in Exile

Do the righteous cease being righteous when their people and nation go through God's judgment? Reunion Roadmap Midrash: Chanukkah - Dedicated To

There are two steps in becoming a man or woman of God: being separated from the world, and being dedicated to Him. Reunion Roadmap Midrash: Chanukkah - Victory

Chanukkah is a festival that focuses on the victory of God's people over a specific enemy at a particular time. It's right to remember such occasions, but it's also right to remember that victory in one fight doesn't mean the war is over. Barry Phillips and David Jones have much to say about that in the context of our life in Messiah - both individually and, more importantly, as a body. Thanks for listening to Reunion Roadmap! Reunion Roadmap Midrash: Who Is the Torah For?

What exactly is the Torah and why are Christians even talking about it? Those questions are much more important than we might think. Bev Hall & Cathy Helms: Called Up to Jerusalem, part 4

It is possible to bring a good report from God’s Promised Land and yet include in that report the unpleasant things in the land. That’s how Beverly Hall and Cathy Helms start this final segment of our conversation in their comments about crime in Israel, among other negative aspects of life there. Just like those ancient Hebrews who heard from the Ten Spies and from Joshua and Caleb, we have a choice how to think about such things. We could let the negative cloud our perceptions of Israel, but, like Cathy and Bev, we can remember God’s promises and bring those negative elements into our prayers for His land and people!  A healthy perspective on Israel, the land and people of God, actually has a connection to repentance, or teshuva in Hebrew. We’ll hear about that in the midrash by Barry Phillips and David Jones explain, and as we hear in the music of Teshuva and Wilderness Cry.To learn more about the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem ICEJ, visit https://icejusa.org/To learn more about the Aliyah Return Center, visit https://www.return.co.il/arc-aliyah-return-centerCover Photo: ICEJ Feast of Tabernacles 2025 Day 4, October 13, 2025, photo by by Joao Campos; inset: Cathy Helms (L) and Bev Hall (R) with Gerald from ICEJ.Thanks for listening to Reunion Roadmap! Bev Hall & Cathy Helms: Called Up to Jerusalem, part 3

Is the breach between Christians and Jews being narrowed? Beverly Hall and Cathy Helms have reason to believe it is. Their recent sojourn in Israel gave them ample opportunity to witness and take part in Jewish-Christian interactions on several levels. In this third part of our conversation, they share more of what they encountered in Jerusalem, and then take us with them to the Galilee where the Aliyah Return Center is making a difference in the lives of new Jewish citizens of Israel and the Christians who help them get established. The Aliyah Return Center is one aspect of God answering the prayer that His Kingdom would come and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Barry Phillips and David Jones have a lot to say about prayer, particularly about our expectations of what we want God to do. They share their thoughts in a midrash they call “Consequence of Prayer.” Prayer does have consequences, both for the nations and for individuals, as we hear in the music of Teshuva and Peter Wales and Histax. To learn more about the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem ICEJ, visit https://icejusa.org/To learn more about the Aliyah Return Center, visit https://www.return.co.il/arc-aliyah-return-centerCover Photo: ICEJ Feast of Tabernacles 2025 Day 4, October 13, 2025, photo by by Joao Campos; inset: Cathy Helms (L) and Bev Hall (R) with Gerald from ICEJ.Thanks for listening to Reunion Roadmap! Those who have not been to Israel may not realize how diverse it is. Even among Israel’s seven million Jewish citizens there is considerable diversity, as Beverly Hall and Cathy Helms found out. In this second part of our conversation, they begin by sharing the differences they noticed between secular and religious Jews. It was their intent to immerse themselves in Israeli culture and get to know the people. That’s what they did in Tel Aviv, and in this segment we hear about their adventures in Jerusalem! Jerusalem is part of the territory allotted in ancient times to the tribe of Benjamin. Barry Phillips and David Jones point out that Benjamin is between the tribal territories of Judah and Ephraim, which leads them to investigate the role of Benjamin as a Bridge. Bev Hall & Cathy Helms: Called Up to Jerusalem, part 1

In this four-part interview, they share a very good report from the Blessed Land!  God works through His people, and therefore His people have the responsibility to get along. It’s a matter of Brotherhood, as Barry Phillips and David Jones explain in their midrash, and as the Aleph Tav Band and the Exodus Road Band share in their music. Reunion Roadmap Midrash: Self-Centered or Yah-Centered?

Here are some hard questions to ponder: do we serve God because He is worthy to be served, or because we expect to get something for ourselves? Do we really have faith in God, or do we have faith in our idea of God? These are some of the questions Barry Phillips and David Jones address in this conversation about the life our Messiah calls us to live. Thanks for listening to Reunion Roadmap! Reunion Roadmap Midrash: Prophets

What is prophecy? What is the role of a prophet? Are there prophets today, or was that something only for ancient times in the Bible? How does prophecy and other gifts of the Holy Spirit fit with the Torah Awakening in the church in our time? These are important questions David Jones and Barry Phillips discuss. Thanks for listening to Reunion Roadmap! Reunion Roadmap Midrash: Hope

There is more to hope than sitting passively and waiting for God to move. As Barry Phillips and David Jones explain, hope is a verb. That means for hope to be fulfilled, someone has to take action. Thanks for listening to Reunion Roadmap! Reunion Roadmap Midrash: Need for Spiritual Rain in Measure and in Season

How do we know when we need rain, and when we have too much? As David Jones and Barry Phillips explain, what we experience in the natural world teaches us about the spiritual rain we also need to live as our Creator intends. Thanks for listening to Reunion Roadmap! Reunion Roadmap Midrash: Love One Another

It's hard to love someone if we don't know what love is. So what exactly is love? That's the question David Jones and Barry Phillips try to answer. Thanks for listening to Reunion Roadmap! Reunion Roadmap Midrash: Imaginations

How do we get beyond identifying ourselves as sinners saved by grace? In a sense, we don't get beyond, but if that remains the center of our identity, we miss so much more that our Creator and Redeemer has for us. Barry Phillips and David Jones have some deep thoughts about this topic. Thanks for listening to Reunion Roadmap! Reunion Roadmap Midrash: Sukkot and Dwelling

What does the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) tell us about eternity? More than we might think, of course, as with all things of God. In this discussion, David Jones and Barry Phillips investigate some of those eternal implications of the eight days of Sukkot. Thanks for listening to Reunion Roadmap! Reunion Roadmap Midrash: Love and Exile

The story of Jacob and Esau is a puzzle. The Bible says Isaac loved Esau and Rebecca loved Jacob, but there's more to the story in the original Hebrew than what we read in translation. That's what Barry Phillips and David Jones investigate in this conversation. It shouldn't be a surprise that what they find has a lot to do with God's plan of redemption for Israel and all the nations. Thanks for listening to Reunion Roadmap! Reunion Roadmap Midrash: Divine Nature and the Fall Feasts

We read in 2 Peter 1:4 that followers of Messiah Yeshua are supposed to become "partakers of the divine nature." What exactly does that mean? Is there anything in the Torah about that - maybe something in the Fall Feasts that helps us understand our interaction with God and His divine nature? David Jones and Barry Phillips have some thoughts on these questions. Thanks for listening to Reunion Roadmap! Israel Connections: Samuel & Keila Wearp - Sheep and Sovereignty

In the Bible we read about sheep as a metaphor for people. There is a reason God put that metaphor in His book – a reason connected to His land and people of Israel. Samuel and Keila Wearp have learned about that through hands-on experience. These newlyweds had a working honeymoon in Israel, where they led a team of Christian volunteers in an expedition to shear sheep on a farm in the Biblical heartland of Judea. It was the first adventure of their new ministry, Rising Sparks. Israel began as a nation of shepherds. Abraham was a shepherd, as were David and Deborah. Shepherds are still important in Israel today as the Jewish people reclaim the land God gave them. What may be surprising is who these shepherds are, and the importance of their work for the future of Israel. These Jewish pioneers are walking out the commandments and promises of God to reclaim and settle their ancestral homeland. How does support for Israel have anything to do with the prophesied Messianic Age? Samuel and Keila have some thoughts about that. Their understanding of Messiah’s Kingdom is what inspires them to do things like lead a team of sheep shearers to Judea to help Jewish shepherds! To see pictures of the Rising Sparks Sheep Shearing Expedition, visit https://bneyyosefna.com/samuel-keila-wearp-sheep-and-sovereignty/.To learn more about Rising Sparks, visit https://risingsparks.com.Check out Samuel’s devotional guide to prayer for Israel: The Dire Straits of Redemption: A 21-day Journey to Transform Jewish and Christian Relations There are also opportunities to support, learn about, and serve Israel and the Jewish people through Samuel and Keila’s other ministry connections:Blessed Buy Israel – https://blessedbuyisrael.comTen from the Nations – https://tenfromthenations.orgThanks for listening to Reunion Roadmap! Israel Connections: Peter Wales - A Global Turning Point

Among the uncomfortable sayings of Messiah Yeshua (Jesus Christ), one of the most difficult is this:Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. (John 15:13)We philosophize over what Yeshua meant until we see it in action. It can be said that we all saw a man lay down his life for his friends when Charlie Kirk was violently taken from this world on September 10, 2025. What does Charlie’s death mean? What can we learn from his life? Peter Wales of Brisbane, Australia, has thought much about that. In fact, he wrote a song about it – although he didn’t realize until after Charlie’s death that his song, “Strong and True,” speaks a message about Charlie’s legacy. Like so many other songs Peter has written, this one was based on a famous poem: “If” by Rudyard Kipling. In this conversation, Peter shares the inspiration for the song, his thoughts on Charlie Kirk’s global impact, and what it means for Jesus followers across the spectrum of  Christianity.Be sure to listen to the entire program to hear “Strong and True” at the end.To listen to “Strong and True – for Charlie and Erika Kirk” and to download the song, visit the Hitstax Rocks website at:https://hitstax.com/strong-and-true-for-charlie-and-erika-kirk/.Thanks for listening to Reunion Roadmap! Reunion Roadmap Midrash: Six Year Strangers

One great revelation of the Torah Awakening is that disciples of Messiah Yeshua are grafted in, or adopted into, the house of Jacob - God's Covenant Nation of Israel. However, as David Jones and Barry Phillips explain, that revelation, should lead us to an attitude of loving humility, not arrogant boasting. Thanks for listening to Reunion Roadmap! Samuel & Keila Wearp: Sheep and Sovereignty, part 4

How does support for Israel have anything to do with the prophesied Messianic Age? Samuel and Keila Wearp have some thoughts about that. In fact, their understanding of Messiah’s Kingdom is what inspires them to do things like lead a team of sheep shearers to Judea to help Jewish shepherds! They talk about that and more in this concluding segment of our conversation. What Samuel and Keila are doing is putting their love for the God of Israel and the land and people of Israel into action. That’s the opposite of what we see so much in the news these days. Barry Phillips and David Jones talk about that in their midrash, “Cold Love.”  We hear more about it in the music of Mason Clover and the Exodus Road Band.To see pictures of the Rising Sparks Sheep Shearing Expedition, visit https://bneyyosefna.com/samuel-keila-wearp-sheep-and-sovereignty-part-4/.To learn more about Rising Sparks, visit https://risingsparks.com.Check out Samuel’s devotional guide to prayer for Israel: The Dire Straits of Redemption: A 21-day Journey to Transform Jewish and Christian Relations There are also opportunities to support, learn about, and serve Israel and the Jewish people through Samuel and Keila’s other ministry connections:Blessed Buy Israel – https://blessedbuyisrael.comTen from the Nations – https://tenfromthenations.orgThanks for listening to Reunion Roadmap! Samuel & Keila Wearp: Sheep and Sovereignty, part 3

It’s hard to engage in economic development when you’re struggling just to hold on to your land. That’s the situation of the Jewish pioneers in Judea walking out the commandments and promises of God to reclaim and settle their ancestral homeland. There is great reason for hope, both for Israel and all the nations of the earth, as Samuel and Keila Wearp tell us in this third part of our conversation.Of course, it would help if Jews and Christians could get along, both with each other and with themselves. That’s what our God desires, as Barry Phillips and David Jones explain in their midrash, “Same Mind, Same Spirit.” We hear that message as well in the music of Dylan White and Wilderness Cry.To see pictures of the Rising Sparks Sheep Shearing Expedition, visit https://bneyyosefna.com/samuel-keila-wearp-sheep-and-sovereignty-part-3/.To learn more about Rising Sparks, visit https://risingsparks.com.Check out Samuel’s devotional guide to prayer for Israel: The Dire Straits of Redemption: A 21-day Journey to Transform Jewish and Christian Relations There are also opportunities to support, learn about, and serve Israel and the Jewish people through Samuel and Keila’s other ministry connections:Blessed Buy Israel – https://blessedbuyisrael.comTen from the Nations – https://tenfromthenations.orgThanks for listening to Reunion Roadmap! Samuel & Keila Wearp: Sheep and Sovereignty, part 2

Israel began as a nation of shepherds. As Samuel and Keila Wearp explain, Abraham was a shepherd, as were David and Deborah. It shouldn’t be a surprise that shepherds are still important in Israel today as the Jewish people reclaim the land God gave them. What may be surprising is who these shepherds are, and the importance of their work for the future of Israel. That’s an important part of this second part of our conversation about the Wearps’ Sheep Shearing expedition with their ministry, Rising Sparks. The restoration of Israel is a work in progress, which means the final redemption of Israel and the whole world is still a work in progress. Barry Phillips and David Jones have a few thoughts about how God is proceeding with that work, and the way He invites us all to participate. That’s the topic not only of their midrash, “Stones, Children, and Builders,” but also of the music shared by Samuel and Benjamin Wearp and the Exodus Road Band.To see pictures of the Rising Sparks Sheep Shearing Expedition, visit https://bneyyosefna.com/samuel-keila-wearp-sheep-and-sovereignty-part-2/.To learn more about Rising Sparks, visit https://risingsparks.com.Check out Samuel’s devotional guide to prayer for Israel: The Dire Straits of Redemption: A 21-day Journey to Transform Jewish and Christian Relations There are also opportunities to support, learn about, and serve Israel and the Jewish people through Samuel and Keila’s other ministry connections:Blessed Buy Israel – https://blessedbuyisrael.comTen from the Nations – https://tenfromthenations.orgThanks for listening to Reunion Roadmap! It was the first adventure of their new ministry, Rising Sparks. We learn about it in this four-part conversation, but before we hear about their work in Israel, we get to hear Keila’s story!Tending sheep, like tending a garden, is an occupation that can teach us about our connection with our Creator. Barry Phillips and David Jones investigate that connection in their midrash, “Adam As A Type of Priest.” Will Spires has been singing about this connection for many years, as we hear in the musical selections for this show.To see pictures of the Rising Sparks Sheep Shearing Expedition, visit https://bneyyosefna.com/samuel-keila-wearp-sheep-and-sovereignty-part-1/.To learn more about Rising Sparks, visit https://risingsparks.com.Check out Samuel’s devotional guide to prayer for Israel: The Dire Straits of Redemption: A 21-day Journey to Transform Jewish and Christian Relations There are also opportunities to support, learn about, and serve Israel and the Jewish people through Samuel and Keila’s other ministry connections:Blessed Buy Israel – https://blessedbuyisrael.comTen from the Nations – https://tenfromthenations.orgThanks for listening to Reunion Roadmap! Is the New Covenant somehow connected to the Tabernacle, the Ark of the Covenant, and the Tablets of the Law? Does that connection in any way inform us about how we should relate to one another? Reunion Roadmap Midrash: Examining Ourselves

In 1 Corinthians 11:31, Paul exhorts us to examine, or judge, ourselves, so we don't come under judgment. What exactly does that mean? How do we know what to examine?
