Ep. 034- Heidi Lyn Campbell on The Confidence Gap, Why Women Hold Back, And How To Step Forward

In this powerful episode of She Rises, Rachel sits down with Heidi Lyn Campbell—speaker, leadership mentor, and coach—to talk about confidence, calling, and trusting God when life doesn’t unfold the way you planned. Heidi shares her personal journey as a self-described “late bloomer”—navigating years of unexpected waiting, building a career she never planned, and wrestling with questions during some of her hardest seasons. Through it all, one thing remained constant: her commitment to staying anchored in her relationship with the Savior. Together, Rachel and Heidi explore what it looks like to trust God’s timing, especially when you don’t yet have evidence that things will work out. Heidi shares how those early seasons of waiting became the very foundation that later carried her through infertility, marriage, and building a blended family. This conversation also dives into the confidence gap many women experience. Drawing from her background in executive coaching, Heidi opens up about why so many capable, talented women feel like imposters—and how we can begin to recognize our gifts, own our strengths, and lead in a way that feels authentic. You’ll walk away with practical, powerful tools for: -Letting go of comparison and embracing your unique leadership style Delegating with clarity (and without frustration) -Setting boundaries that protect your energy and calling -Leading with both accountability and grace -Showing up with confidence—even when you don’t feel ready Most importantly, this episode is a reminder that your life is not off track. God is not behind. And you are not lacking. Rather, you are being shaped into the woman you’re meant to become. After walking through one of the hardest years of her life—filled with physical challenges, emotional strain, and unexpected trials—Molly found herself in a place she never anticipated: unable to feel the Spirit in the way she always had before. Instead of easy answers, this episode explores the wrestle. Together, Rachel and Molly talk about: What it feels like when heaven seems silent Rebuilding your understanding of God in the middle of pain The concept of “divine silence” and why it’s not a punishment How suffering can actually be an expression of God’s trust Seeing Jesus Christ as a Counselor—not just a comforter The unexpected ways God communicates when traditional ways feel blocked Mental health, faith, and the importance of holistic healing A simple but powerful framework: faith, hope, and charity Molly shares how, even when she couldn’t feel God, He was still reaching her—through people, music, small impressions, and new tools she never would have discovered otherwise. Ep. 032- Co-Creating With God: Faith, Art, and the Courage to Pivot With Jenny Komenda

In this powerful conversation on She Rises, Rachel sits down with artist, entrepreneur, and founder of Juniper Print Shop and The Rooted Home, Jenny Komenda. What began as a small creative outlet while raising young children eventually grew into a thriving creative business—but Jenny’s story is about much more than entrepreneurship. It’s about learning to recognize God’s voice, trusting divine promptings, and having the courage to pivot—even when the path forward feels uncertain. Jenny shares how her early blogging days were rooted in authenticity and creativity, and how those small beginnings eventually opened doors she never could have predicted. But the real turning point came when she felt a strong spiritual prompting to shift her work toward creating Christian art—a direction that felt both sacred and terrifying to pursue publicly. Together, Rachel and Jenny explore what it means to co-create our lives with God. They discuss the courage required to follow spiritual impressions, the challenge of being misunderstood, and the importance of anchoring our confidence in the Lord rather than in external validation. This conversation is a beautiful reminder that creativity isn’t limited to artists. Every woman is creating something—her home, her relationships, her faith, her work, and the lives of those around her. When we invite God into the process, even ordinary moments can become sacred acts of creation. In this episode, we talk about: • Learning to trust divine promptings • Pivoting when God calls you in a new direction • Why authenticity matters more than influence • The courage it takes to share your faith publicly • Finding divine confidence in a noisy world • How every woman is a co-creator with God If you’ve ever felt God nudging you toward something new—or something scary—this episode will remind you that He is in the details and that He walks with us every step of the way. In today’s episode of She Rises, Rachel is joined by health and fitness coach Megan Millecam for a powerful conversation about strength, surrender, and faith in seasons of waiting. Ep. 030 - The Sacrifice You Didn’t Choose: Trusting God When Life Doesn’t Make Sense With Christi Davis

What do you do when you feel prompted to do something that makes absolutely no sense? In this honest conversation, Rachel sits down with life coach, author, and mother of seven Christi Davis to talk about the sacred wrestle of trusting God when the path feels unclear. Christi shares the surprising story of being prompted to move her family across the country—only to feel called to move back just as quickly. Together, Rachel and Christi explore how spiritual promptings often require courage before clarity, and how the lessons we learn along the way are often the very ones we didn’t know we needed. They also dive into the emotional realities of motherhood: the shifting identity that comes as children grow, the sacrifices mothers make daily, and how we can choose meaning instead of resentment in the work of loving our families. One of the most powerful moments in the conversation comes as Christi shares a deeply personal loss, and how she learned to view it as a sacrifice she didn’t choose but could still offer willingly to God. This episode is for any woman navigating change, waiting for answers, or wondering how to trust God when life doesn’t follow the plan. You’ll walk away reminded that even when we can’t see the purpose yet, God is always writing a redemption story. Christi can be found on Instagram @christidaviscoaching. Ep. 029 - Saving The World One Dinner Invitation At A Time With Jenny Evans

In this heartfelt episode of She Rises, Rachel sits down with Jenny Evans—beloved cook, teacher, mother, grandmother, and woman of deep faith—for a conversation about hospitality, discipleship, resilience, and choosing love in a divided world. Jenny shares how her desire to cook began long before she knew how, how opening her table shaped her children, and how deep relationships can form when we simply invite. Together, Rachel and Jenny reflect on Elder Gerrit W. Gong’s message No One Sits Alone and explore the quiet, powerful ways we can create belonging—in our homes, our communities, and our everyday lives. This episode is an invitation to slow down, make room, and remember that small, simple acts of love still change everything. In This Episode, We Discuss: -How Jenny learned to cook through desire, trial, and love -Why hospitality is more about presence than perfection -What weekly Sunday dinners taught her children about work, conversation, and connection -Responding to contention in the world with Christlike connection -Creating belonging in small, simple, intentional ways Discipleship often looks quiet—setting an extra place at the table, choosing connection over contention, and lifting others in ordinary, faithful ways. And this conversation with Jenny is just the motivation the world needs to start connecting... around the dinner table. Jenny can be found at @jennyevansgatherings on Instagram. Rachel, as always, can be found on Instagram @simplyrachelclare, and her website, rachelclare.com.

Ep. 028 - The Quest Inside the Question: How To Hear God's Voice With Jenedy Paige

What if your questions aren’t signs of weak faith… but invitations to a quest? In this dynamic and deeply moving episode of She Rises, Rachel sits down with artist, author, and American Ninja Warrior competitor Jenedy Paige to explore how God uses creativity, discipline, grief, and growth to shape who we are becoming. Jenedy shares the inspired realization she had at 17 years old when she saw the word "quest" hidden inside the word "question" — and how that perspective has shaped her faith ever since- because questions don’t mean we’re lost. They mean we’re being invited somewhere. Together, Rachel and Jenedy explore: -How journaling prepares the heart for prayer and revelation The “aerial view” that writing gives us in the middle of chaos -Why questions are spiritual invitations — not spiritual failures How art became both healing and ministry -- -The decade-long journey behind her sparrow painting (inspired by Matthew 10) -How God develops our gifts long before He platforms them What American Ninja Warrior taught her about endurance, strength, and rising -And how Jesus Christ transforms what once felt heavy into something that carries us forward While Jenedy shares tender pieces of her grief journey after the loss of her son, this episode ultimately centers on what happens next: how God rebuilds, how He strengthens, how He refines, and how He turns weight into power. You’ll walk away reminded that your questions are allowed, your gifts matter, this process isn't a waste, and your rising may look like Version 2.0 — stronger, deeper, more refined than before. If you’ve ever felt like you’re in the middle of becoming… this episode is for you. Ep. 026 - Be Still: Unlocking Personal Revelation in a Distracted World With Jesika Harmon

In a world that glorifies busy and rewards distraction, what if the most powerful thing a woman can do is be still? In this sacred and counter-cultural conversation, Rachel sits down with meditation coach and mother of five, Jesika Harmon, to explore the spiritual discipline of stillness — and why it may be the missing key to personal revelation, confident motherhood, and accessing the powers of heaven. Jesika shares her journey from feeling “not a natural mother” to discovering how daily meditation and mindfulness practices transformed her relationships, her emotional health, and her connection with God. Together, they unpack how prayer is the talking — but stillness is the listening — and why so many of us struggle to create space to truly hear Him. If you've ever felt too busy to slow down, unsure how to quiet your mind, or tempted to look to the world for validation instead of upward for worth, this episode will gently call you back to center. You don’t need an hour. You need intention. You need stillness. In This Episode, We Discuss: Why stillness is foundational to receiving personal revelation The difference between prayer (talking) and meditation (listening) How mindfulness strengthens patience, especially in motherhood The science behind breathwork and regulating the nervous system “What you water grows” — and how affirmations rewire your brain The sacred power of “I Am” statements Gratitude as a healing balm How to discern divine discontent vs. distraction Why self-care is not selfish — it’s stewardship Jesika can be found on Instagram @jesikaharmon, on YouTube  If this episode blessed you, share it with a friend who needs permission to slow down. And don’t forget to subscribe, leave a review, and follow along on Instagram at @simplyrachelclare. She rises not by doing more — but by becoming still enough to hear Him. 🤍

Ep. 025 - When Our Children Exercise Their Agency In Ways We Wouldn't Choose For Them With Rachel Tucker and Christi Davis

What do you do when your child makes choices you wouldn’t choose for them? How do you hold onto faith without letting fear take over your motherhood? In this episode, Rachel shares a powerful conversation with her friend and fellow life coach Christi Davis, originally recorded last summer on Christi’s podcast Liking the People You Love. Together, they explore what it really means to guide children spiritually—especially teenagers who may be questioning, experimenting, or stepping away. This conversation is an honest, hope-filled look at faith, agency, and trust. Rachel and Christi talk about why we can’t give our children a testimony—but we can give them ours—and how love, curiosity, and safety create space for the Savior to work. In this episode, you’ll hear: -Why fear has no place in faithful motherhood -The difference between their testimony and ours -How living your faith quietly and consistently speaks louder than preaching -A powerful visualization for releasing worry and handing it to the Savior -Why curiosity is more effective than control with teenagers -How allowing exploration and contrast can strengthen faith over time -What it means to be a “safe place” for your children—no matter where they are spiritually If you’re a mother worrying about your child’s choices, this episode is a gentle reminder: God loves your children more than you do—and He is not done with their story. Ep. 024 - “You Choose”: When God Trusts You To Decide with Cali Black

Cali Black is widely known for helping thousands fall in love with the scriptures through Come, Follow Me—but in this episode of She Rises, we go deeper than scripture study. We talk about agency, trust, humility, and what it really looks like to let God guide our lives without controlling every outcome. Cali shares her personal story of becoming a teacher, stepping away from a career she loved after a clear prompting, and how a simple act of choosing to do good—without being commanded—led to the unexpected creation of her Come, Follow Me Study platform. Along the way, she opens up about identity, missed expectations, and the moments when God’s answer wasn’t “yes” or “no,” but simply, “You choose.” This conversation explores how honoring agency—our own and others’—can free us from fear, resentment, and judgment. We talk about making big life decisions, trusting that God will “make it good” either way, parenting with empowerment instead of control, and learning to let others walk their own paths without condemnation. If you’ve ever felt paralyzed by the fear of choosing wrong, wrestled with judgment (of yourself or others), or longed to trust God more fully while still owning your choices—this episode is for you. You can find Cali on Instagram @comefollowmestudy, on YouTube @comefollowmestudywithcaliblack, and on her podcast One Minute Scripture Study (wherever you listen). Ep.023 - Rachel Tucker On The Power Of Believing In Yourself

In this solo episode of She Rises, Rachel invites listeners into a sacred and deeply personal conversation about believing in yourself—not in a shallow, motivational way, but through the lens of divine identity, divine potential, and spiritual gifts. Drawing from scripture, prophetic teachings, lived experience, and the quiet whisperings of the Spirit, Rachel explores why self-doubt is so dangerous and why faith in who you really are changes everything. Rachel reflects on the women she has watched rise in extraordinary ways—women who carry heavy responsibilities, face unexpected trials, say yes to daunting callings, build meaningful lives, and keep going even when the load feels overwhelming. She reminds us that none of this strength is accidental. We are literal children of Heavenly Parents, created in Their image, inheritors of both physical and spiritual traits, and endowed with eternal worth and limitless potential. This episode walks through three anchoring truths: you were created by divinity, you were given uniquely personal spiritual gifts, and you have a Savior who believes in you and empowers you through covenant power. Rachel discusses how spiritual gifts—both obvious and quiet—are clues to our purpose, how negative self-talk erodes confidence, and how choosing belief can unlock growth, courage, and peace. With tenderness and conviction, she testifies that through Christ, we can do hard things, small things with consistency, and seemingly impossible things. If you’ve ever questioned your abilities, doubted your capacity, or felt unsure whether you’re enough for what’s been placed on your shoulders, this episode is a reminder of who you are, where you came from, and what is truly possible when faith replaces fear. You were created equipped. You are not behind. And you are capable of far more than you think. Rachel can be found on her website, rachelclare.com, and on Instagram @simplyrachelclare.

Ep. 022 - On Connecting To God Through The Kitchen With Cariann Cheney

In today’s episode of She Rises, Rachel sits down with Carrian Cheney- a woman whose work may center around food, but whose calling clearly centers around people, presence, and sacred connection. Raised in a place where faith wasn’t the norm, she shares how God began preparing her while she was young to stand as a beacon to others. She was also blessed with an unexpected creative gift which was a gift during a hard season of unemployment—to provide for her family in ways she never could have planned. Together, they explore how the kitchen can become holy ground, why gathering matters more than ever, and how choosing presence over distraction can lead to peace, healing, and revelation. This conversation is an invitation to slow down, return to what matters, and rediscover the sacred in the ordinary. In this episode, we discuss: Growing faith in places where belief feels uncommon God’s provision through unexpected gifts and callings Why food, memory, and gathering are deeply spiritual The kitchen as a refuge for families and communities Discernment in a distracted, overscheduled world Carrian Cheney can be found at ohsweetbasil.com as well as on Instagram @ohsweetbasil. In today’s episode, I sit down with my dear friend and extraordinary mother, Carie Skinner, for a sacred and honest conversation about divine weakness and divine becoming. Ep. 020 - On Wintering In The New Year With Rachel Tucker

The beginning of a new year often comes with some pressure — to set goals, make resolutions, and overhaul our lives overnight. But what if God is inviting us into something gentler? In this solo episode, Rachel explores the idea of wintering — a season of intentional slowing, rest, and reflection — and how it can shape a more peaceful, purpose-filled approach to the new year. Rather than rushing ahead with determination and discipline alone, we talk about walking with Jesus into the year ahead, grounded in scripture, prayer, silence, and trust in divine timing. Together, we’ll reflect on what it looks like to: -Embrace stillness and listen for the Lord’s voice -Wait on the Lord without anxiety or fear -Live intentionally rather than reactively -Create space for personal revelation -Honor the Sabbath, attend the temple, and nurture spiritual rhythms -Spend less time on screens and more time in practices that bring joy, peace, and connection -Move our bodies, step outside, and reconnect with God through creation This episode is an invitation to let go of hurry, resist the pressure to “do it all,” and enter the year slowly — with faith, intention, and trust that God is already at work. If you’re longing for less noise and more peace… less striving and more presence… this conversation is for you. Rachel can be found on Instagram @simplyrachelclare and her website, rachelclare.com.

Ep. 019 - Kelsey Oldroyd On Moving Through Grief With Faith

In this tender and faith-filled episode, I sat down with Kelsey Oldroyd, whose life has been shaped by profound loss—and unmistakable miracles. After losing her husband to cancer, she found herself, just one year later, spending an entire month in an intensive burn unit with her oldest son after a tragic accident. Now a single mother raising four boys, she shares how her relationship with Jesus Christ became not just a comfort, but a lifeline through unimaginable grief and fear. As a faithful woman of God, she speaks openly about learning to lean fully into the Savior during her darkest moments, and how doing so opened her eyes to the countless tender mercies, blessings, and miracles that surrounded her—even in the midst of trauma. In this conversation, we discuss trusting Jesus Christ when life feels unbearably heavy, recognizing miracles and God’s hand, saying yes to help, and seeing others as the Savior’s hands, and allowing yourself to feel joy again after deep grief. Her story is one of resilience, humility, and quiet strength. It is a powerful reminder that miracles don’t always look like an absence of pain—but often appear as sustaining grace, unexpected support, and the steady presence of the Savior carrying us through. If you or someone you love has experienced loss, heartbreak, or trauma, this episode offers hope, perspective, and a gentle invitation to notice God’s goodness even in the hardest seasons.
