The Bumble Blab
by Haelly Kirk
The Bumble Blab is a candid, curious, and slightly unhinged exploration of modern dating, relationships, and self-awareness.Through real dating stories, voice-note-worthy reflections, and honest conversations, I break down what’s actually happening beneath the surface. From attachment patterns and mixed signals to people-pleasing, chemistry, and walking away when it’s not aligned. This isn’t a podcast about “doing dating right.”It’s about noticing yourself, questioning your stories, and learning how to stay grounded, playful, and sovereign while navigating connection.Come for the dating blabs.Stay for the self-trust.

The Mother’s Day Episode You Didn’t Know You Needed
Mother’s Day is beautiful… and for some of us, it’s complicated. In this episode, I’m talking about the part of motherhood we don’t always say out loud: the grief, the guilt, the resentment, the longing, and the little girl inside of us who still wants to be seen by her own mother.I share why Mother’s Day can feel tender when you grew up feeling like love came with an invoice, and how I’m learning to honor my mom, my own motherhood, and myself without turning sacrifice into martyrdom. This episode is for the woman who loves her mom and still feels hurt. For the mom who wants to break cycles without pretending she wasn’t shaped by them. And for anyone who needs permission to let Mother’s Day be honest, not perfect.Send us Fan Mail

The Story You Inherited About Men: What It’s Actually Shaping
In this episode, I’m introducing The Dating Mind Detox by exploring how the stories we inherited about men may still be shaping the way we date today. Before we ever experienced heartbreak, betrayal, ghosting, or dating apps, many of us were already absorbing beliefs about men from our parents, caregivers, culture, media, and early experiences. We’ll talk about how those beliefs shape what we notice, what we ignore, what we tolerate, and who we become in dating. If you’re ready to stop letting old stories pick your future, join me for my free workshop, The Dating Mind Detox, on May 28th at 5:30 PM EST. Register HERESend us Fan Mail

The Courtroom, The Betrayal, and Why I Became A Dating Coach
This episode is a little bit of everything… the courtroom, the betrayal, and the lessons that came through it.I share what happened with my pendente lite case, how I almost didn’t file, and what shifted when I finally decided to take action. But more than that, this episode is about a relationship I was in… and how the people who loved me could see things I wasn’t ready to see yet.The truth is—I had incredible friends. Ride or dies. Women who loved me deeply, supported me, and told me the truth.I didn’t need different friends… I needed to become someone who could actually hear them. This episode is about that shift. The moment where things start to click, where awareness deepens, and you begin to trust what’s been in front of you the whole time.If you’ve ever felt torn between what you feel, what you hope, and what the people around you are seeing… this one will land.Send us Fan Mail

The Internet Says Single Moms Are "Ruining The Dating Pool"....
Single moms — or those of you who know and love a single mom — pay attention.I’m hosting a FREE workshop called Love Without Anxiety on March 9th and March 16th at 5:30 PM EST, where I’ll be teaching the mindset and strategies that help single moms date with clarity instead of anxiety.Reserve your seat here: [Click HERE]Some men think single moms are ruining modern dating.Instead of getting offended… I got curious.Recently I posted something online about dating as a single mom, and the internet had a lot to say. Some men claimed single moms are ruining the dating pool. Others said no “quality man” would want to raise another man’s child. And of course, the internet delivered its usual mix of criticism, confusion, and completely random comments. But instead of letting it bother me, I found the whole thing fascinating.Because the truth is… they aren’t entirely wrong. Some men genuinely don’t want to date single moms. And once you understand that, something powerful happens: dating becomes a lot simpler. In this episode, I explore why criticism like this doesn’t hurt the way it used to and how doing deeper inner work completely changes the way we experience rejection, judgment, and dating.Drawing from the teachings of Byron Katie, we unpack why other people’s opinions only have power over us when we believe them — and why dating isn’t about convincing the wrong people to choose you. It’s about letting them filter themselves out.Inside this conversation we explore:• Why some men truly don’t want to date single moms (and why that’s useful information) • The two very different types of men that exist in the dating world • How self-worth changes the way criticism lands • Why rejection can actually be clarityBecause the goal of dating isn’t to be liked by everyone. It’s to find the person who sees the most beautiful parts of your life… and loves you even more for them.Send us Fan Mail

Dating Isn’t Working… Yet: The Art of Wanting
If you’ve been dating for a while and it hasn’t worked…If you’ve gone on the apps, tried the dates, put yourself out there… and still haven’t found your person…If you’re starting to feel rejected, tired, maybe even a little hopeless…If thoughts like “Maybe I’m just meant to be single.” “Maybe it’s too late.” “Maybe love just isn’t for me.” have started whispering louder than you’d like…I hear you.And I don’t want another year to go by where you quietly harden into those beliefs.Because here’s the truth: the longer you let disappointment sit unchallenged, the more it starts to shape your identity. Your expectations. Your nervous system. Your standards. Your hope. That’s why I’m hosting a free live workshop called Love Without Anxiety. If dating feels like pressure, performance, or panic… I’m going to show you what’s actually happening in your mind and body and how to approach love without that constant undercurrent of stress. You don’t need to be more perfect. Demystifying Imposter Syndrome: What It’s Actually Pointing To
Imposter syndrome is usually treated like a confidence problem. But what if it’s actually information? In this episode, we demystify imposter syndrome by exploring what it’s really pointing to — not as a flaw to fix, but as a signal worth listening to.Through my personal reflection and a recent realization around growth, visibility, and ownership, this conversation reframes the “fraud” feeling as an invitation toward deeper honesty, agency, and self-trust.If you’ve ever felt uncomfortable owning your success, minimizing your wins, or questioning your right to take up space, this episode offers a quieter, more grounded way to understand what’s happening beneath the surface. This isn’t a confidence pep talk. It’s an awareness practice.Send us Fan Mail

Presence over Perfection: The Christmas We Actually Need
Christmas has a way of convincing us that it has to be bigger, better, and more beautiful every year. In this episode, Haelly uses How the Grinch Stole Christmas as a mirror for modern holiday pressure, reflecting on Martha May Whovier energy, Betty Lou Who stress, and the chaos that comes from trying to make everything perfect. When the focus shifts to decorations, gifts, and performance, the real spirit of Christmas can quietly slip away, leaving even the most well-intentioned hearts feeling overwhelmed and disconnected. This year, Christmas looks different for Haelly as a single mother who will not have her son on Christmas Day, and instead of forcing cheer, she shares an honest conversation about disappointment, emotional waves, and choosing presence over perfection. Drawing on wisdom about emotions as energy and offering practical ways to create a supportive holiday game plan, this episode is for anyone whose Christmas does not match the picture in their head. It is a reminder that Christmas is not something we perform, but something we feel, and that meaning can still be found when we honor ourselves exactly where we are.✨ ANNOUNCEMENT — My New Program: Dating Like a Boundary Baddie ✨If you’ve been listening and nodding like, “God, this is me,” then I created something for you.Is this you?You keep attracting men who love your strength but don’t step up.You overgive, overfunction, and overexplain — and then feel resentful. You fall for potential instead of patterns. You lose your softness because you’re exhausted from being in your masculine. You don’t want to settle, but you don’t fully trust yourself in dating yet.You know you’re magnetic, but you haven’t learned how to receive like a queen.Or do you know someone who keeps repeating the same dating cycle, loves too hard too soon, or struggles to uphold boundaries without feeling “mean”? For That Day When Shit Hits the Fan… Yeah, Listen to This.
Today was one of those days — and if you’ve ever had a moment where everything collapses at once, this episode is for you.My car literally died in the middle of the road. A stranger in a giant truck rescued me. NTB held me hostage for three hours, then dropped a $445 bill on me. My toddler was down to one diaper. I had one nerve left. And when we finally got home… the back door was wide open.If you know my rat saga, you KNOW why my nervous system screamed. But here’s the magic: I let myself be human. I named the emotions in real time — “I’m frustrated, I’m overwhelmed, this feels disheartening.” I didn’t bypass it. I didn’t pretend. I didn’t collapse.I used the Feel to Heal Framework right in the middle of actual chaos — car trouble, toddler urgency, overwhelm, fear, and all. This episode is for the mom who’s doing her best. The woman who’s learning emotional regulation. The person who’s had it up to HERE. And anyone who needs a reminder that you can stay grounded, honest, and powerful even when life feels like a full-blown novela. For that day when shit hits the fan… yeah, listen to this. 😂✨Send us Fan Mail

Let Them Be Wrong About You, Pumpkin 😉
This episode began with my son being sick… and somehow turned into a spiritual masterclass on identity, boundaries, motherhood, and one very wise pumpkin. In Episode 90, I share the slow, quiet day that cracked my heart open — the day I stopped hustling long enough to meet my child exactly where he was. And how a simple children’s book, It’s a Pumpkin, revealed one of the most powerful lessons I’ve ever learned:You don’t have to argue with people who misunderstand you. You don’t have to shrink to fit their expectations. You don’t have to perform a version of yourself that’s expired. Let them be wrong about you.And because I’m seeing Wicked this week, the Elphaba energy jumped OUT. This episode breaks down what the pumpkin and Elphie have in common — the unapologetic power of knowing who you are, even when the world doesn’t.Inside, we explore: ✨ why slowing down reveals your truest identity ✨ how motherhood activates both your softness and your boundaries ✨ why being misunderstood is actually a sign you’re evolving ✨ how to hold your center when people project onto you ✨ the difference between letting people be wrong and letting them cross you ✨ why identity isn’t a prison — it’s a spell you can rewrite anytimeIf you’ve been feeling mislabeled, underestimated, stretched thin, or ready to step into a new version of yourself… this episode will feel like a warm hand on your back saying, “You’re allowed to become someone new.”Let people misunderstand you. Let yourself evolve. Why Children Think Everything Is Their Fault
In this episode, I share a moment at the airport that completely reshaped the way I see motherhood. After rewatching Freakier Friday, I was reminded of the day Israel thought I was mad at him—simply because I rushed a goodbye on my way to catch a flight. Kids don’t see context… they see energy. And when that energy shifts, they fill in the blanks with self-blame. This episode explores why children think everything is their fault, why repair matters more than perfection, and how one moment of reconnection can rewrite the story in your child’s heart.✨ ANNOUNCEMENT — My New Program: Dating Like a Boundary Baddie ✨If you’ve been listening and nodding like, “God, this is me,” then I created something for you.Is this you?You keep attracting men who love your strength but don’t step up.You overgive, overfunction, and overexplain — and then feel resentful. Learning to Fall Like a Kid Again—“Mommy, Look! I Fell!”
This week’s episode comes straight from a moment at the park with my son, Israel — and honestly, it wrecked me in the best way. We were climbing this giant spider-web rope structure, bouncing around, and Israel suddenly fell. Not a soft fall — a real fall. And instead of crying or getting embarrassed, he popped up smiling like, “Mommy, look! I fell down!” And he wanted to do it again. He studied the fall, played with it, dramatized it, and treated it like an experiment — not a failure. Watching him made me realize how many of us adults take everything so seriously. How many of us shame ourselves for every misstep. Meanwhile, our kids treat falling as part of the game. What would life feel like if we allowed ourselves that freedom? What if every time we stumbled in business, dating, motherhood, or healing, we could laugh and say, “Look! I fell!” instead of spiraling? My coach once told me the more successful she became, the more willing she was to be made a fool of in front of more people. That line hit differently after watching my son. So this episode is your permission slip to fall, laugh, learn, and rise again — with softness, curiosity, and joy.✨ ANNOUNCEMENT — My New Program: Dating Like a Boundary Baddie ✨If you’ve been listening and nodding like, “God, this is me,” then I created something for you.Is this you?You keep attracting men who love your strength but don’t step up.You overgive, overfunction, and overexplain — and then feel resentful. Wicked: Lessons on Friendship, Freedom, and Becoming Wickedly Unlimited
Okay y’all… this one got me. Wicked cracked me wide open. I’m talking goosebumps, tears, full-body chills. In this episode, I dive into the moments that completely undid me — Galinda choosing kindness over coolness, that powerful dance that redefined friendship, Elphaba standing up for what’s right even when it costs her everything. And then that one line… “But I don’t want it… I can’t want it.” Whew. That line hit me like every breakup, every awakening, every moment you realize you can’t go back to who you were before you saw the truth.I talk about shame, courage, and freedom. I weave in a little Eckhart Tolle (A New Earth) and Ellen Langer (Mindfulness) — because yes, I’m that girl who connects musicals to spiritual awakenings. 😂This one’s for the women in their Elphaba Era — the ones who don’t fit the mold, who’ve been misunderstood, who are finally done playing by someone else’s rules.Because maybe you were never “too much.” Maybe you were just wickedly unlimited. 💚Want to chat with me? Permission to Pout: The Power of a Pity Party
In this episode, we flip the script on sadness. What if falling apart isn’t a failure but a form of emotional intelligence? From the law of entropy that governs the cosmos to the yin-yang truth that darkness and light need each other, she explores why breaking down is part of nature’s design. A conscious pity party becomes a sacred reset — a moment to stop performing strength, let the tears flow, and feel the clean pain that actually moves emotion through the body instead of trapping it.Haelly also draws on Carl Jung’s concept of the inner child — the tender, innocent part of us that still longs to be seen, soothed, and held. By honoring that child with compassion rather than criticism, we reclaim our wholeness and learn that darkness doesn’t destroy the light; it reveals it. This episode invites you to curl up, cry it out, and remember: sometimes the most healing thing you can do is give yourself permission to pout.Random things from the episode:Ding Dong its your doorbellCrankensteinThe Light-Disturbed Want to chat with me? The Power of ‘Yet’: What Lindsey Stirling Taught Me About Going Pro
Back in July, I went to a Lindsey Stirling concert expecting great music—but I walked away with a life lesson I’ll never forget. In the middle of her performance, she paused to reflect on her journey and said, “I wasn’t good enough… yet.” That one word—yet—hit me like a lightning bolt. It was a reminder that growth isn’t about being perfect or ready. It’s about trusting the process of becoming. In this episode, I explore how that moment connects with one of my favorite books, Turning Pro by Steven Pressfield. Together, we’ll unpack what it means to move from amateur energy to professional devotion—showing up for your calling even when you feel unqualified. Whether you’re stuck in self-doubt, afraid to launch something new, or waiting for the perfect moment to begin, this episode is your nudge: you don’t have to be there yet... you just have to start showing up like the person you’re becoming.Who is Lindsey Stirling....allow me to introduce the legend....here is her most viral video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aHjpOzsQ9YI&list=RDaHjpOzsQ9YI&start_radio=1Want to chat with me? Life Is Uncertain, But You’ve Got You
Sometimes life hits you with the kind of chaos you can’t plan for — canceled flights, glitchy systems, impossible deadlines. In this episode, I share two moments that tested my calm and my perseverance: the unexpected delay that turned my trip into a full week away from my son, and the near-denial of a program I depend on because of one tiny missed box on an online form. Both moments had the potential to spiral me — to send me into panic, frustration, or self-blame. But something shifted. Instead of falling apart, I rode through the storm like a buffalo — the animal that runs toward the storm, not away from it. If You Want Something, Then Let Yourself Have It
If you want something, then let yourself have it.That’s the lesson I had to face when planning my trip to California — holding my son’s father accountable for his word, navigating the fallout, and choosing my want over fear.In this episode, I share:The story behind saying yes to California, even when resistance showed up.Why 10x Is Easier Than 2x and what it taught me about wants vs needs, simplicity, and letting go.The story of a young Michelangelo and how his want created 10x results at only 23.The deeper truth of wealth: freedom from vs freedom to.Why wanting is the most vulnerable — and most magical — thing we can do.And yes, I even tie in one of my favorite childhood movies, HalloweenTown, because its wisdom is still shaping how I live today.✨ Reflection for you: What do you truly want right now that you haven’t let yourself have?As a thank you for listening, I have a FREE gift for you — the full recording of my People Pleaser Detox Workshop. More Than a Title
Why do we tie our worth to the titles we hold, the achievements we rack up, or the way we appear to others? In this episode, I share four stories — from being treated like VIP as a TSR dance teacher, to the Speaker of the House losing perks once the title was gone, to Michael Phelps’ post-Olympic identity crisis, and even a Jackie Kennedy dress moment at Spa World. Each story reveals how quickly the world’s treatment of us shifts when a title or costume changes — and why none of those things define our true value.Your worth doesn’t rise and fall with your achievements, your roles, or your image. It is steady, unshakable, and rooted in one simple truth: the fact that you exist makes you worthy.I close with a mantra to anchor this truth and invite you to reflect on where you’ve been outsourcing your worth — and what it would feel like to rest in the reality that you are more than a title.References:Actress RountableDr. Maya Angelou Interview Michael Phelps✨ As a thank you for listening, I have a FREE gift for you — the full recording of my People Pleaser Detox Workshop. How a Trash Can Taught Me Boundaries
What do a stolen trash can, a Hobby Lobby moment, and a book on boundaries have in common? They all taught me the same lesson: courage shows up in the small, ordinary moments — often with shaking hands. In this episode, I share the story of confronting my neighbor after she admitted to sending her son onto my property to take my trash can, and what it revealed about protecting my home, my son, and myself. I also share a Hobby Lobby story that brought me face-to-face with the same truth: boundaries have to be clear in order to be respected. We’ll talk about:How “beautiful rage” was born in me when my son was bornWhy fear and shaking don’t mean you’re weak — they mean you’re humanThe Law of Exposure from the book Boundaries and why unspoken limits don’t workHow everyday conflicts can be powerful practice grounds for courageThis isn’t about trash cans or checkout lines — it’s about reclaiming your voice, honoring your worth, and standing tall in the little moments that matter most.✨ As a thank you for listening, I have a free gift for you — the full recording of my People Pleaser Detox workshop. I Found Out I Have an Addiction
In this deeply personal episode, I share the moment I realized I have an addiction — not to substances, but to being busy. After an overwhelming day of nonstop productivity left me feeling empty, I asked a simple but powerful question: “Do I have an addiction to doing?” What followed was a reckoning with the way I’ve tied my worth to performance, usefulness, and hustle. I unpack the childhood experiences that shaped this pattern — including a painful memory involving my mother doing my hair — and how it trained my body to believe that pain should be ignored in favor of appearance. Can Breathwork Really Heal You? Aumfirhia Shows You How
In this powerful episode, I sit down with my friend Fire (Aumfirhia) Chavez, a breath work guide whose story is as transformative as the practice he teaches. Whether you’re new to breath work or craving a deeper connection to yourself, this episode offers both inspiration and a practical, guided breath work exercise to ground you right where you are.We also dive into a powerful healing tool called Ho’oponopono—an ancient Hawaiian practice rooted in reconciliation, radical self-responsibility, and inner peace. Aumfirhia shares how this simple yet profound method has supported his own healing and why it resonates so deeply on a spiritual and emotional level. The practice involves repeating four phrases: “I’m sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you.” While they may seem simple, these words hold the power to rewire your nervous system, dissolve emotional tension, and shift the way you relate to pain—whether it's your own or something inherited through relationships or even ancestral wounds. What’s so beautiful about Ho’oponopono is that it doesn’t require anyone else to change. 30 Years Married & Still in Love? I Had to Know How—With Relationship Experts Robin Temple & Michael Moore
I’ll be honest—I’ve been pretty cynical about marriage. As a single mom and divorced woman, I’ve seen how love can fade, how relationships can fall apart, and how hard it can be to make things work. But this conversation with Michael and Robin cracked my heart open in a way I didn’t expect. Watching them interact—the way they teased each other, the way they listened, the way they just were together—made me believe, maybe for the first time in a long time, that real, lasting love is possible. They’ve been married for 30 years, coached over 1,500 couples, and trained hundreds of professionals, but their biggest credential? They are so in love. And they’re not afraid to be vulnerable about the messy, hard, and beautiful reality of marriage. From navigating sex to figuring out how to live together as (in their own words) “two stubborn, opinionated, and often incompatible people,” they share the raw truth about what makes love last.Their adoration, gentleness, and genuine admiration for each other was palpable. It wasn't performative—it was real. And it gave me something I didn’t realize I was looking for: hope.We dive deep into what makes love not just last, but thrive. From the myths that keep couples disconnected, to how asking clearly for what you want is actually the kindest thing you can do. They share powerful tools and mindset shifts that have helped over 1,500 couples and trained more than 100 professionals in the art of relational harmony. We talk about:Why saying what you need isn’t rude—it's essentialThe lie that “If you loved me, you’d just know”Why love that’s skill-based is actually the most romanticThe 6 types of love, according to the Ancient GreeksAnd how to turn conflict into cooperationWhether you're single, married, or somewhere in between, this one will open your heart and your mind.Resources from Michael and Robin:Follow their IGHow healthy is your relationship?Take the FREE Relationship Quiz and find out.https://couples.solutions/Want to learn a couple of tools to upgrade your connection?Attend the two-hour Introduction to True Love.https://couples.solutions/intro/Partner reluctant to participate?Transform your relationship on your own.https://couples.solutions/pq/Schedule a call with Haelly, why?Do you feel like you’re meant for more but aren’t sure how to get there? Lala’s Journey from Fired to Fearless
What happens when standing up for what’s right costs you everything? In this episode, I sit down with my brilliant and resilient friend Lala, who shares the shocking story of how she was fired for reporting an inappropriate image—all in the name of DEI. The photo, meant to honor Bayard Rustin, who helped MLK and the million-man march, instead highlighted his sexual indiscretions more than his civil rights contributions. As one of only three women of color in her company, Lala found herself caught in a web where DEI initiatives were weaponized against her by men building a case to have HR remove her.But Lala’s story is one of resilience. She is now working on what she loves most, advocacy and music, tune in now to find our the details of what happened after her termination. We dive into our past work together, from combating human trafficking to hosting documentary screenings, bake sales, banquets, art shows, jean drives for homeless teens, and Christmas fundraisers. After graduating and parting ways, we reconnected on Instagram—only to discover how much our journeys had evolved.Beyond her firing, we explore deep themes of women’s empowerment, the pain body as discussed by Eckhart Tolle, and the transformative power of music and dance in helping women tap into their feminine energy and reclaim their strength. This conversation is raw, insightful, and ultimately a testament to how adversity can lead to purpose.Tune in for an inspiring story of courage, connection, and the power of reclaiming your voice. 🎙✨Learn and follow more from Lala Andrews:📸 @thelalaandrews 📸Unlock the Secret to Deeper, Stronger RelationshipsWhat if I told you that just a few small shifts could completely transform the way you connect with your partner, friends, and family? Lessons from January: Being vs Doing
January was meant to be a fresh start, but instead, it became a lesson in resilience, stillness, and surrender. In this episode, I share how a month filled with sickness and injury forced me to confront my deep attachment to movement and productivity. When I couldn't work out at my usual 11 AM, chaos set in—not just in my schedule but in my emotions. I felt sadness, despair, and even hints of depression, realizing how much I rely on movement to feel fulfilled. Inspired by Eckhart Tolle's wisdom on being vs. doing, I question whether I am worthy without constant action and whether I can find peace even in forced stillness. This journey also led me to reflect on Sarah Blondin’s Befriending Your Natural Cycles: Recognize Life’s Rhythms, which reminds us that life moves in cycles—we are not meant to bloom endlessly without rest. Just as trees shed their leaves in winter, we too must embrace the quiet, unseen phases of growth. Yet, we’ve become so afraid of non-doing that we resist the very stillness that could nourish us. If we’re always producing, always striving, we lose touch with the deeper rhythm of life and the wisdom it offers. This episode is an invitation to honor both movement and rest, learning to trust the natural ebb and flow of our existence. If this resonates with you, I invite you to join me in The Connection Code, my February content plan designed to help you create deeper alignment in your life. We’ll explore how to balance ambition with rest, cultivate mindful presence, and connect with yourself in a more meaningful way. Let’s move with intention—not just for the sake of doing, but for the sake of truly being. Stay tuned for more details!Access the Free Connection Code Workshop here: By the end of this journey, you’ll:✅ Feel lighter and less overwhelmed because you’re no longer pushing against life’s natural flow.✅ Experience more energy and creativity by allowing yourself to rest and recharge without guilt.✅ Trust yourself more deeply, making decisions from a place of clarity instead of pressure.✅ Find joy in the present moment instead of constantly chasing the next achievement.✅ Move through your days with more ease, confidence, and a deep sense of inner peace. This isn’t about doing less—it’s about doing what truly matters in a way that feels good. ABOUT THIS SHOW
The Bumble Blab is a candid, curious, and slightly unhinged exploration of modern dating, relationships, and self-awareness.Through real dating stories, voice-note-worthy reflections, and honest conversations, I break down what’s actually happening beneath the surface.
