God Opposes the Proud; Nebuchadnezzar vs Belshazzar
There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community. Proverbs 6:16-19 Sometimes our good standing with people & our well established philanthropic lives obscure us from the rot happening within us. We easily take glory for ourselves and forget it is God working in us causing us to Excell. Like Belshazzar, we cast aside the testimonies of old and completely turn away from God. In this episode We look into the lives of Nebuchadnezzar and his son Belshazzar to learn about pride of the heart and how to nip it in the bud!

Moving nations like Nehemiah the cupbearer.
"Our prayers may be awkward. Our attempts may be feeble. But since the power of prayer is in the one who hears it and not in the one who says it, our prayers do make a difference." - Max Lucado While as one person it can be daunting to prays big prayers, never underestimate God's power to hear and answer that prayer. In this episode I encourage us all to be like Nehemiah, who did not consider his position something to limit his faith but rather, arose in a time of crisis believing that God's power is truly able to suffice for all his people's needs. What crisis has been on your heart; family, friends, a neighboring nation? RISE UP and pray! God is still I business of working miracles. This episode features my lovely friend Rhoda. David's Dead Son; Stop fumbling the bag!
Do you know God took Solomon's older brother? Yap, Solomon had an brother we often forget and in this podcast I highlight why he should be a point of rememberabce for us as believers. 2 Samuel 12 gives us the story of how David and Bethsheba lost their first son. This is one of those stories that shows us the gruesome consequences of our seemingly trivial actions. David fumbled his kingship by adultery & murder, made his whole house rot & his kingdom to suffer insurgence. "Stop fumbling the bag" is meant to bring us to a place of self assessment. What are the things God has placed in our care that we handling wrongly? We risk losing our "sons" (businesses, school, opportunities) simply because we were not diligent in our doings. Sometimes, the assignment is too big for casual hook-ups, lives literally depend on your obedience! Follow us on IG @tjt.podcast

Ahab, it's time to break up with Jezebel!
Many will make the argument that religion should not be an issue when it comes to who you love, if you are part of the many, this podcast is not for you and you should definitely consider switching faiths. However, If you are a child of God and are dating a non believer, just, stop! Ahab, a great man in his time let his ambition and misplaced love turn him into a cautionary tale for us today, while he chose very well in the flesh, he chose terribly in the spirit. Recorded as one of the most evil kings of Isreal, a reputation that has preceded and clouded all the good he did for his nation, he shows us something cardinal in our Christian walk today regarding romantic relationships. Listen to his full story and make your judgement: Is it safe for you to be making your bed with the Godless? "Therefore let anyone who thinks that he stands take heed lest he fall." 1 Corinthians 10:12 Follow us on Instagram @tjt.podcast

Are we spoilt like Jonah?
Have we become compassionless and cold? Are we now people that feel we know better than God as to who deserves his kindness and Mercy? Sometimes we set up camp waiting for those that have done us wrong to fall, we look at sinners with haughty eyes thinking they will surely never enter heaven! We wait for their eternal doom instead of telling them of the gospel because we have already judged in our hearts that they are not worthy of salvation BUT Jonah's story reminds us that God is a gentle and kind father, a loving Savior who always seeks to redeem even in his anger. Matthew 24:12 warns that in the last days our love will grow cold, listen to the podcast and see how to keep God's flame for his people alive in your heart.

Habakkuk's Prayer "Even Though Bad Things Keep Happening!"
The times are hard, the days are evil. It's getting harder and harder to believe and the mockers do not stop poking fun at us, but now more than ever we are to strengthen our faith like Habakkuk and testify saying " Even though there is no food, or water, or deliverance in sight, I will trust in my God that gives me strength!" Habakkuk, a Prophet of God, found himself praying to God seeking mercy and justice as the times he was living in were difficult. He wasn't even seeking "blessings" or wealth simply salvation from the hands of his oppressor and God said wait. I don't know what you have been praying for, but I pray that you are strengthened to wait and know that even though he does not deliver in your time, He is still worthy of praise. Habakkuk 1,2&3 Remember to pray for all the believers around the world going through different afflictions, such as war and famine, as well as persecutions. Pray for their strenth to be renewed and faith preserved. Follow us on IG @tjt.podcast

Independent in an Interdependent World.
There is no escaping how intertwined the earth is. Nature in of itself works collaboratively, the excessive death of one species disrupts entire ecosystems, there must be a balance on how death and life occur. When it comes to the spiritual realm we see that God uses us to bring life to each other, if there is no man to send then there is no way to save the dying man. Are you playing your part or do you think you exist as a completely independent entity? When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam’s sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned. For the sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and his gift of righteousness, for all who receive it will live in triumph over sin and death through this one man, Jesus Christ. Romans 5:12,15 The correct Verse mentioned is 2 Peter 3:9 Follow us on IG @tjt.podcast
