Stop Forcing Productivity in Every Season
Ever feel like everyone else is energized, resetting routines, and getting things done… while you’re just trying to keep up? 🌿When your motivation doesn’t match the season, it’s easy to feel behind — especially when social media is full of productivity, fresh starts, and “new season, new me” energy. In this episode, we’re talking about the reality of those slower seasons and why it’s okay when your motivation doesn’t magically show up just because the calendar changed. We dive into the pressure to keep up, the overwhelm of the never-ending to-do list, and how setting a realistic baseline can help you focus on what actually matters. We also share encouragement for letting go of comparison, doing what you can right now, and redefining progress in a way that feels sustainable for motherhood and real life. Because sometimes the most productive thing you can do is simply show up where you are.If you’ve been feeling unmotivated, stretched thin, or overwhelmed by expectations, this conversation is for you. 💛If this episode encouraged you, share it with a friend who might be feeling the same way. Book Review: The Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins
Hi friends! In today’s episode we share our thoughts on the #1 New York Times Bestseller, The Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins. When we read/listened to this book, we knew we HAD to share it with y'all, because it was life changing. This book was a 5 star book, and truly believe EVERYONE should get their hands on a copy of this book. The powerful, yet simple statement of " Let them" and learning how to apply it has been helping people world wide. We go over different sections of the book that stood out to us the most, like how adults kinda have the emotional maturity of an 8 year old, and WHY. We also touch base on how we can't change ANYONE, but Mel gives real life tools to help approach your a family member or friend to help motivate them to see the disconnect on where they're at, and where they want to be (but letting them realzie what they actually want), why friendships fall apart/grow apart, and how to make friends as an adult, and so much more!!The Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins: https://amzn.to/3FjGZ9iFollow us on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thelilmamathatcould/?next=%2F&hl=enJoin The Lil Mama That Could Community group:https://www.facebook.com/groups/thelilmamathatcouldcommunityPersonal Accounts:Kirsten:www.instagram.com/owowitskirstensmithMikaela:www.instagram.com/mikaelajoysmithWebsite:www.thelilmamathatcould.com
