We continue our study in this series by looking at receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost. It is such a critical step to salvation and organizing Christ's church that even Paul was sent out to correct some well intended believers and make sure their baptism and receiving the Holy Ghost was done correctly. Every day we make choices and every choice we make, like it or not, we have to be accountable for. Much like the word "consequence," the word "accountability" has an unnecessary negative connotation to it. It is not inherently bad to be accountable for something. We look into what makes this concept so important in God's plan. It is woven in tightly with agency, one cannot exist without the other. Agency, it is something that we use every day. A gift from God that we fought to keep before we came to earth and that we must exercise everyday, hopefully, to help us gain a better understanding of our heavenly heritage. From the first instruction given to Adam, on down to the choices we make today, agency is critical to God's plan and our salvation. The hardest part with agency, is remembering to use it so that we are creatures that act instead of just being acted upon.
