Developing Self-Worth (Holiness)
Daniel made a bold decision to not eat the food offered to the idols. This could have led to his death, but he chose to take a stand. We as believers have lost this separation with the world. Everything is so permissive today that there is no difference between a believer and a Christian. Daniel showed us the value of holiness and how it led to his self-worth and boldness. We consider today in what ways should we express our separation from the world. Our hope is to equip believers to live out the truth of Jesus wherever they go, so they can be a light for him. As always, thanks for listening. If you have any prayer requests or questions, please email us at [email protected] and have a great week. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Developing Self-Worth (Overcoming our Need for Power and Success)
Developing our self worth is a journey with the Lord. The enemy offers different temptations to draw us away and lose our self-worth. Finding our identity in external success and power is one of the chief ways. We considered how the Babylonians offered success and power to the boys (Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego) to slowly make them change their priorities and values. It is the same thing the enemy does today for many of us. We have slowly drifted away from the Lord due to our need to prove ourselves to the world. In this sermon, we consider the idea of clothing ourselves in Christ so that our chief identity is him. In doing that, our need for success and power dwindles and we are satisfied in him. As always, thanks for tuning in. If you have any prayer requests or questions, email us at [email protected]. Thanks and have a great week. Hosted on Acast. Developing Self Worth (Overcoming the Deception of the World)
Finding self-worth begins in the secret place. Babylon did everything to pervert Daniel and his friends. One of the chief ways was by educating them in the ways of the Babylonian literature. Slowly, they hoped to change their mindsets. Daniel was able to overcome. The enemy continues that same tactic and tries to pervert our education and thinking. False ideas and poor teaching has crept into the church and we must be rooted as Daniel was. This week, we study how Daniel was able to stand against the education of the world and how we can do the same. As always, thanks for tuning in. If you have any questions or prayer requests, please email us at [email protected]. Thanks and have a great week. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Developing Self-Worth in the Secret Place
Having self worth is one of the hardest things for people to learn. We know the truths of God, which say that we have value and that we are loved, but to feel value inside of yourself can be difficult. How do we even begin that process? We look at the life of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego as they had enough self-worth to stand up to the king. Where did that come from? It came from the secret place. When no one was looking, they learned to dedicate themselves to the Lord. Because they found victory when no one was looking, they had victory when everyone was looking. We need victory in our secret places. Specifically, we looked at the need for victory in our identity. When we are alone with God, we learn how God sees us rather than how the world may see us. It is important we understand how God sees us in contrast to the world, as we will lose our way if not. Our prayer is that you find victory in the secret place this week. As always, please reach out if you have any questions or prayer requests at [email protected]. Thanks and we hope you have a great week. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Developing Self Worth (How do we begin to develop self-worth?)
In our journey to finding healing from a fear of man, we consider that true liberation from fear of man begins in having self-worth. Many people struggle with self-worth, even though they have heard the truths of the scriptures. They know they are fearfully and wonderfully made and that they are God's handiwork, but still feel a low sense of self when someone can say something different. How do we begin to find self-worth so that we don't bow down to the will of man, but to God?We consider the truths of God this week and how people in our life may have spoken to us. Our relationships with humans dictate how we see God, so in many ways we need healing from our earthly father, so that we can really begin to understand our heavenly father. As always, thanks for tuning in. If you have any prayer requests or questions, please reach us at [email protected]. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

How do we heal from our fear of mankind?
We are continuing our series on healing. As we heal, the hope is that we can be a light and healing to others. This week, we consider finding healing from a fear of mankind (need for approval). Some people are so terrified by people that they do not walk in what God has called of them. They are more afraid of mankind than they are of God. We consider how we overcome a fear of mankind through the life of Jesus and through the gospels. We also remember the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus, considering how he forsook all others, bowing to the will of the Father. Our prayer is that we can do the same. As always, thanks for listening in. If you have any prayer requests or questions, please email us at [email protected]. Thanks and have a wonderful week. Hosted on Acast. How do we find healing from our Insecurities?
As we continue our series on healing, we consider insecurities of our lives. Insecurities are the soil that can product fruit that we shouldn't bear. The enemy uses insecurities to ruin our lives. We have to be aware of our insecurities and ask the Lord for healing. We consider the life of Peter and look at how Jesus helped him overcome his shame of betraying Jesus and learn from their example. As always, we want to appreciate you for listening. Feel free to ask questions or prayer requests at [email protected]. Thanks and have a great week Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Finding Healing from Demonic Oppression
In this series, we look at the idea of healing and needing healing from different things of our life. This week we consider the attack of the enemy. The enemy comes as a roaring lion to devour us. We face challenges and demonic attack often and we must be aware of that. Sometimes, knowingly and unknowingly, we have allowed demonic oppression in our lives as we allow demons to take a stronghold in our hearts, our minds and our lives. This week, we learn how we heal from traumas and demonic seeds that we have planted inside of ourselves, so that we can plant the spirit of God inside of ourselves. As always, we thank you for tuning in. If you have any prayer requests or questions, please reach out to us at [email protected]. Thanks and we hope you have a great week. Hosted on Acast. Beginning the Process of Healing
If we have any desire to grow in our walks with the Lord, healing must happen at in internal level. We are not able to live into what God is calling of us, without healing. We consider the story of Adam and Eve. Although they were saved from eternal separation from God, God also took care of the other byproducts of sin, including their shame. We consider the byproduct of sin in our life and how we can find the full life that God has availlable for us. If you are interested in finding healing, we pray you tune in for more!As always, thanks for tuning in. If you have any prayer requests or questions, feel free to email us at [email protected]. How is your soil? The Parable of the Sower (Suthin John)
As believers, we want to be people that have the fruit of the spirit. But even though we hear the word, it doesn't bear fruit. How do we begin to work on the soil so that the soil can bear fruit? We consider the parable of the sower and how fruit is born. Consider today if you are bearing fruit and maybe there are things in the soil that need to be fixed. As always, thanks for tuning in. Denying ourselves, accepting correction
What if the key to real spiritual growth is learning to accept correction? We all say we want to follow Jesus — but discipleship means denying ourselves, laying down our ego, and being willing to be shaped. Being willing to take correction is a big part of self-denial, but is one of the hardest parts of growth. As we look at the life of the Ethiopian Eunich, we consider how he took correction and how we can learn from him. Thank you so much for tuning in — we’re truly grateful you’re here. If you have prayer requests or questions, email us at [email protected]. We’d love to connect and pray for you. Let’s grow together. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Upside Down Perspective
What if everything you’ve been taught about winning, success, and happiness is actually backwards? Jesus said the way to real life is to lose it — and the way up is down. In this episode, we’re unpacking the upside-down kingdom of God and what it means to deny yourself, take up your cross, and actually find the life you’ve been chasing. If you’ve ever felt torn between chasing more and wanting something deeper, please check out this sermon. As always, we are so grateful for you guys tuning in. Overcoming Our need for People's Approval
Jesus faced the second temptation of being offered to drop from the temple. Why did that temptation matter? Because Satan wanted him to glorify himself. Many times, the approval of people and self-glorification can distract from what God wants from our lives. How do we begin to honestly honor God and not worry about what others have to think? We consider these things and more as we look into this week's text. As always, thanks for tuning in. If you have any prayer requests or questions, please email us at [email protected]. How do we let go of the nature inside of us that displeases God?
If the process of establishing the systems of our life begins in self denial, where does self-denial begin? Does that mean we cannot have anything good for ourselves? We consider Galatians 5 which points us to the idea of killing our flesh or our animal nature. Our anger, our bitterness, our worry are a few examples of that nature. But how do we begin the process of killing our nature that might be so deep seeded inside of us? We look at the idea of building our spirit man so that we might kill the flesh. If you're interested in hearing more of building the spirit man, please tune in!As always, thanks for tuning in. How do we conform ourselves to the image of Jesus?
What if the way you see yourself is holding you back from the life God desires for you? In this episode, we wrestle with the question of identity and what it truly means to follow Jesus. So often, we define ourselves by our jobs, struggles, successes, or failures—but Jesus invites us to be known by Him instead. Through relatable stories and vivid illustrations, this message explores how we can stop wearing different “hats” throughout the week and begin conforming our lives to the image of Christ every day. As we confront the idols that shape us and submit them to the Lord, we’re invited into real transformation that leads to freedom, wholeness, and a better way to live.As always, thanks for joining us. How do we begin to create systems to Glorify God?
What if spiritual growth wasn’t about trying harder—but about ordering your life differently?God is a God of systems, and healthy systems always produce growth and fruit. In this message, we discover the starting point for a life that glorifies God: self-denial that leads to freedom, clarity, and purpose. This sermon unpacks how loving God first—by intentionally ordering your time—and loving people outwardly transforms everyday life. From practical rhythms to a vision of revival in ordinary believers, this message offers a hopeful and challenging call to live with purpose beyond feelings and self-focus.If you desire a faith that grows, reproduces, and impacts others, this message will help you take the first step.As always, thank you guys for tuning in and if you have any questions or prayer request, please reach out to us at [email protected]. How can a Christian be known for Jesus?
What does it really mean to be a disciple of Jesus? In this episode, we move beyond the idea of a one-time decision and explore Jesus’ call to “come after me.” Discipleship is about who you follow and what you’re known for. Through Scripture and real-life stories, we discover that being identified by Jesus means living a life of intentional service—serving others, even when it’s difficult, just as Jesus did.As always, if you have any prayer requests or questions, feel free to email us at [email protected]. How do we stay committed to our Decisions
Many people start New Year's Resolutions and commitments to follow the Lord, but as the year progresses, their resolution fades. In a recent study done by Forbes, 94% of people do not stick with their resolutions past a year. How can an individual stay committed to their resolution, especially in terms of the Lord? How do we get Unstuck Conclusion
As we wrap up our series on getting unstuck, we consider any overall guidance to help us move forward. We can hear so many great sermons, but nothing changes. Where does real progress begin? First, we look at the situation of the man at the pool and recognize that it is only because of Jesus that we can proceed forward. He is the beginning of the solution, the middle and the end of the solution. So we take a moment to recognize the value of Jesus in our lives. Second, we consider how the man moves forward by seeing how he responds to the healing of Jesus. The man chooses to love others and share Jesus. If we will live a life for others, growth and change will be required. As always, if you have any prayer requests or questions, we would love to hear from you at [email protected]. How do we get unstuck PT 6
As we continue our series on how we get unstuck, we consider the verse where it says Jesus "learned" about the man's condition. What does it mean that the Jesus learned? How do we get unstuck PT 2
As we continue the conversation about getting unstuck, we look at the response of the lame man to the question of Jesus. When Jesus asks do you want to be made well, he replies by saying his problem. Many times, our situation gets worse because we are more focused on the problem and the giver of the solution to the problem. We engage this week with the idea of how we fix our focus on Jesus as we go through situations and hardships. As always, thanks for listening. How do we get unstuck
Many believers are stuck in their lives, situations and Christian walks. How does a believer begin to live into what God has for them when they feel stuck? How do we progress in sharing the Gospel?
We are called to share the gospel. Hopefully, one day we can all share the word boldly on a street corner for the sake of many. Till then, how do we progress in our desire to share the good news?We consider the idea of the rhythms of our life. Do the rhythms of our life allow space for God to operate and space for sharing the good news. Tune in as we look at the life of Peter and John and the healing of the lame man. Where do I begin the process of evangelism?
Believers are called to evangelize and share the good news with others, but many do not. Where should a believer begin the process so that they move forward? We consider how a believer must start the process of evangelism in their homes. Where we are is where we can start. If we can learn to talk about, teach and defend the Word at home, we have a great chance of sharing it with those around us. What is involved in True Worship?
As we wrap up our series on happiness, we see that Hezekiah worshipped the Lord. What is worship? What is involved in true worship? How do we know if we are doing right in the eyes of the Lord?
Hezekiah did what was right in the eyes of the Lord. We all need to be doing right in the eyes of the Lord. How do we figure thtat out though? How do we begin to find healing in our minds?
We are considering how we become happy as people. In 2 Chronicles 29, we see that the people became happy. How can we find that happiness? Hezekiah repaired the doors of the temple before doing anything else in 2 Chronicles 29. What does that mean for us? It means that we need to repair and restore the entry point of our body, which is our mind. We need to find healing in our minds before we can ever reach the potential of the life that God has for us. We consider how Hezekiah began the process and glean wisdom from him.As always, thanks for tuning in. If you have any questions or prayer requests, please email us at [email protected]. Why doesn't our character change?
Character is important to whom God wants us to be. We are called to have the image of Christ. But many do not, even though they know they should. What stops people from character change? Romans 5 talks about how we should glory in our suffering because it leads to perseverance, perseverance leads to character change and character change ultimately leads to hope. Because we lack a hope in God, we don't develop our character. We can't be kind because we don't know if it will work out. We can't be patient because will God come through? We consider these thoughts and more this week. We pray the sermon blesses you. If you have any questions or prayer requests, please reach out to us at [email protected]. Hope you have a great week! We want an excited group of people to serve and seek after the Lord. But that is hard today because many are hopeless. As we continue our series on having an excitement for God, we look at the blind man who was healed in John 9. The first thing he does after realizing that Jesus was the Messiah was worship him. Principles vs. Miracles
As believers, we hope to see miracles in our life. That is not a bad expectation. But one of the great truths of God is that his principles produce miracles for us. We look at the principles in the parable of the sower. We consider the principles of God that help us produce fruit from our prayer. Our prayer for you is that you can take some of the principles of the sower and see miracles in your life. How do we cultivate an excitement for God?
As we wrap up our series on being excited for God, we consider the story of Anna and Simeon. Why did they have a hunger for God even though others around them didn't? They cultivated a eagerness for God. Day after day, they hungered for the Lord. We have a duty to cultivate a hunger for the Lord. We look at the parable of the sower to consider how we can cultivate our hearts so that we can produce a harvest, 30, 60 or 100 times what was planted. Why does God move in moments of deep need?
As we continue our series on how to become excited as believers, we look at Bartimeus who was one of the most excited people to encounter Jesus. Where did his excitement come from? Why don't believers find their purpose?
We want to be a church excited for the calling that God has. But people are very bored in relation to church. Why is that? People have little idea about their purpose. Purpose is what keeps believers hungry for more of God. But most believers today have no sense of their purpose. Why not?We consider this question this week and look at the life of the disciples to get some sense of what it looks like for people to begin to walk in their purpose. What is required for revival?
We are praying for revival as a church. If revival comes, the church will not be the same. What is needed for revival? In prayer, God revealed the idea of faithfulness. If people will be faithful in the little, God will do more. But what does faithfulness look like?As we consider these texts, our prayer is that you continue to grow in God and expect more of God. God will do exceedingly and abundantly what we think or imagine. As always, if you have questions or prayer requests, please reach out to [email protected]. Why is it so hard to love some people?
We are commanded by God to love others. It is in the conversation of the greatest commands of God and 1 John reminds us that if we do not love people we see, we cannot love a God we do not see. So in the midst of that knowledge, why is it so hard for us to love others? Love should be the identifier of a believer. If you are having a hard time knowing how to love others or why you lack in love towards others at times, this podcast will hopefully be a blessing for you. As always, thanks for tuning in. How do we begin to encounter God?
Why do we not press into the presence of God? We know we should love God with everything, but we lack the zeal at times. We lack because it is not real to us. For a Christian to be on fire, they must encounter God. But how does a Christian encounter God? We learn from the parable of the persistent widow that committed prayer leads to answer and breakthrough. So, tune in to learn about committed prayer. We apologize in advance as Pr. Sam got very excited and slammed the table a few times. It may be loud at moments, but we believe the Word can impact your life.
