The Way - A Christian Forward Movement

The primary objective is to stir our souls to pursue greater things found in the Lord Jesus Christ.THE WAY publishes Christian teaching that focuses on Scripture, Doctrine, Sermons, Church History, Revival, and Biographies. Our innermost desire is to help others and ourselves to "By faith, with one heart, turn to walk the ancient way beholding God in all His glory, and take hold of this new life found in Christ". (Jeremiah 6:16, 32:39; Ezekiel 18:23; Psalm 25:8; Romans 6; Col 2:9-15; John 14:6, 15).

It’s Calvinistic because the sovereignty, glory, nature, and wonder of God are emphasized. It’s Evangelical because Regeneration, the Word and Doctrines of God, and the Gospel are emphasized. It’s Methodist because Christian sanctification - growing in holiness - is emphasized. All Christians have been justified by God, born-again by the Spirit, and grow in sanctification. All three are true of every Christian. To aid us in this effort consider the key Puritan questions for reading, exploring and meditating on The holy Scriptures:  Questions found in J.I. Packer's book "Among God's Giants" (Chapter The Puritans As Interpreters of Scripture).  Always pray that the Lord would teach you at least one thing today.Extracting the Truth:1) What do these words actually mean?2) What light do other Scriptures throw on this text?  Where and how does it fit in to the total Biblical revelation?Understanding the Truth:3) What truths does it teach about God, and about man in relation to God?4) How are these truths related to the saving work of Christ, and what light does the Gospel of Christ throw upon them?  According to Pastor Derek Prime this is the most important question that is frequently overlooked.  He argues “Our people are not fed until they realize His centrality.”Applying the Truth:5) What experiences do these truths delineate, or explain, or seek to create or cure?  For what practical purposes do they stand in Scripture?6) How do they apply to myself and others in our own actual situation?  To what present human condition do they speak, and what are they telling us to believe and do? Justifcation By Faith Key Statements:1) Every man faces the judgement seat of God, and must answer to God for himself. The church cannot shield him from this.  2) Every man is a sinner by nature and practice, a nonconformist so far as God’s Law is concerned, and therefore can only expect God’s wrath and rejection.3) Justification is God’s judicial act of pardoning the guilty sinner, accepting him as righteous, and receiving him as a son or daughter.  4) The source of justification is grace, not human effort or initiative. 5) The ground of justification is Christ’s vicarious righteousness and blood-shedding, not our own merit.6) The means of justification, here and now, is faith in Jesus Christ.  Always keep Jesus central in your life and faith.  7) The fruit of faith, the evidence of its reality, is manifested repentance and a life of good works.

A Sweet Story & Poem for Faithful Gospel Ministers | Please Share | Poem Below

“You are the Man!”Dedicated to Mr. R …& All Faithful Gospel MinistersBy John FrahmDear Minister, today you stand trial. As Nathan declared his verdict to David,Christ has firmly declared His verdict to you, “You are the man!’ (2nd Sam. 12)Long ago, you were the man thrown into Joseph’s pit left to die, (Gen. 37)Firmly trapped, confused, and tormented because of Satan’s deadly lies. (1st Peter 5)But God who is rich in mercy, and possess unspeakable power, (Psalm 77)Gently raised you up as He once did for His preacher, Jeremiah. (Jeremiah 38)Oh, the mystery and wonder of rescuing such a creature as this … (Acts 9)For what divine purpose can this be? (Acts 9)Unknown to God’s enemies, pour souls everywhere cry out for a faithful shepherd. (Psalms 12)Christ hears the cries of His people, and declares, “You are the man.” (Exodus 3, Isaiah 52)And now God has healed & humbled you by His mighty right hand, (Isaiah 66)Sitting at His feet you gladly learn his ways, righteous paths, & truths for He is the God of your salvation. (Psalms 25)A new creation you are, with new affections, and a new mission to rescue the sick, injured & dying. (John 3, Proverbs 24, Ezekiel 34 & 36)And the forces of hell tremble as Christ declares, “You are my ambassador to arouse the saints & awaken sinners!” (2nd Cor. 5)You joined the Lord’s Gospel army, turning the world’s authority upside down, by declaring Christ & Him crucified, (1st Cor. 2)Beseeching the church to awaken from her slumber, (Rev. 3 & 4)Pleading with those perishing to end their rebellion against a Messiah who hung on a tree for all who believe, (1st Peter 1)Thus, crushing Satan under your feet as he howls in defeat. (Romans 16)“You are the man” who God speaks through to teach His people how to walk in spirit, truth, & love. (John 4, 2nd John 4)“You are the man” teaching the four cups of Sanctification, Deliverance, Redemption, & Hope in Christ Jesus! (Exodus 6)“You are the man” exhorting Christians to stop pretending like Judas and worship God in true adoration like Mary. (Mark 14)“You are the man” preaching that Christians are dead to the law so that they might live to God. (Gal. 2)“You are the man” teaching the glorious doctrines of the Christian faith:The Character & Nature of God, Creation, Man’s True Fallen State, The Gospel, The Cross, Atonement, Justification by Faith, New Birth, Union with Christ, Faith, Christian Life, Assurance, Revival, Sanctification, Glorification, Christ’s 2nd Coming, & Heaven are the primary tools of your trade. (The Bible)Afterall, you can do nothing else but preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, (1st Corn. 9:16)Because “You are the man” Christ called to strengthen weak hands & make firm feeble knees, (Isaiah 35, Hebrews 12)to bring His people safely home. (1st Peter 3; Rev. 21, 22)Dear Minister, the world finds you, and all like you, guilty of treason and sedition (Acts 4)for spreading the Gospel of God, distributing illegal writings you call divine & true, and continually doing good to all. (Romans, Gal 6)But the Lord of Glory in His righteousness’ holds a different view for He judges the heart. (1st Sam. 16)He welcomes you as a faithful servant, husband, father & friend in His Celestial City (Matt 25)where you will be with Christ, and like Him, forever & ever. (1st Peter 3, 1st John 3)Amen

2) Every man is a sinner by nature and practice, a nonconformist so far as God’s Law is concerned, and therefore can only expect God’s wrath and rejection.3) Justification is God’s judicial act of pardoning the guilty sinner, accepting hime as righteous, and receiving him as a son or daughter.
