    John has just signed up for his 7th iron distance triathlon which will take place on 19 October 2024 at Ironman Portugal in Cascais near Lisbon. He just did a couple of marathon races within the last days and wrote about his training.     Cebu Marathon 2024: 15 weeks to go!

    Devie is in full training mode, and we talk about the remaining 15 weeks before "the big M". Leading up to a marathon, it makes sense to include long(er) runs of 15, 20, 25 or even more than 30 kms. Those long runs will help to train the "fat burning mode" but you need to increase your mileage slowly to prevent injuries...

Finishing a running event is often times a milestone in a human's life, and it can be life-changing. To make it to the finish line of a 21 km run requires some serious training efforts - esp. since most human beings are not trained at all and can't even finish a 5 km run.
