How Sebbie C's It
by sebastian cail
'How Sebbie C’s It' is a personal podcast about navigating life as it unfolds. From living in Los Angeles and dating as a queer man, to writing songs, working in film, and unlearning the beliefs I grew up with — this is where I talk through it all. Each episode reflects on the movies I’m watching, the projects I’m building, the music I’m writing, and the healing that comes with rewriting your own story. No answers, just perspective — and how I see it :)

fame, heartbreak & hyper independence with whitney uland
this one felt really special.i brought on someone who has seen every version of me — my producer, mentor, and friend, whitney uland.this conversation is really honest. we talk about building a life from nothing, the weird psychology of having an audience, and why success doesn’t automatically fix the parts of you that still feel human. we get into hyper independence — how it protects you, but also how it can keep people at a distance. we talk about heartbreak, burnout, nervous system stuff, and that in-between season where your life is growing fast but you’re still emotionally catching up.it’s one of those conversations that feels more like a late night talk than a podcast episode.if you’ve ever been the strong one,if you’re learning how to slow down,or if you’re figuring out how to let people in without losing yourself…this one’s for you.season one has been really special. thank you for being here and growing with me.and as always — that’s how sebbie c sees it.📲 socialstiktok + ig: @sebastiancailwhitneytiktok + ig: @whitneyuland

what women want? the gay boy epidemic, turning trauma into art + the films you have to see in 2026 with bella gallegos
this week on how sebbie c’s it, i’m joined by returning guest, longtime friend, and forever creative co-conspirator bella gallegos.we get into everything from dating burnout, male validation, and why women are suddenly obsessed with emotionally available (read: gay-coded) men — to how trauma shapes our art, friendships, and sense of self.we talk honestly about growing up religious, unlearning survival patterns, the difference between the male gaze vs the female gaze, and why personality + empathy will always clear looks-maxing.plus: our must-see films for 2026, movie dates as friendship love language, and why going to the cinema every week might actually save your soul.it’s thoughtful, unfiltered, a little chaotic, and very much giving “best friends on a couch with coke zero.”listen if you’re questioning dating culture, healing loudly, or just want to feel less alone while figuring it all out.follow us:@sebastiancail@_bellagallegos

surviving a cult upbringing: the bittersweet freedom of leaving everything you’ve ever known
hello collective and welcome back to another episode of how sebbie c’s it.today’s episode is a heavy one, but it’s also one that’s been sitting on my heart for a long time. i wanted to talk openly about what it means to grow up as a jehovah’s witness… and what it feels like to leave a world that shaped you, hurt you, and still holds so many people you love.i’ve been thinking a lot lately about grief, the kind that comes after survival.because when you finally make it out of something toxic… when you finally build a life that feels free and real… there’s this strange, bittersweet weight that follows you. it’s like you’re living the dream your younger self prayed for, but you can’t stop thinking about the people who are still back there. still stuck. still afraid.and i’ve been carrying a lot of survivor’s guilt.i talk about what it does to your nervous system to be raised in a high-control religion. how you grow up too fast, how you’re taught fear instead of unconditional love, how it seeps into your relationships, your choices, your sense of self.but i also talk about hope.because i truly believe that freedom is possible. healing is possible. and love (real love) exists outside of the systems that tried to shrink us.if you’ve ever felt like you had to start over, or if you’ve ever left something that broke you, i hope this episode makes you feel less alone.thank you for being here. thank you for listening. and thank you for letting me tell the truth.that’s how sebbie c sees it.follow me on tiktok & instagram: @sebastiancail

creative freedom, learning how to write from a place of truth instead of perfection and finding magic again — with jasper bickers on his single ‘missionary’
this week on how sebbie c’s it, i’m sitting down with one of my favorite people and collaborators — jasper bickers. singer, songwriter, producer, internet lore king, and genuinely one of the greatest creatives i know.we talk about what it actually means to build a creative life in la — the good, the weird, the parasocial, the deeply human parts of it. from session culture and social media to writing songs that are emotionally true (even if they’re not literally factual), this conversation is about trusting your voice and letting your work evolve with you.we get into queer art and religion, vulnerability in songwriting, finding your people, and why making people feel safe in creative spaces matters more than chasing virality. jasper opens up about his journey as a producer and artist, his song “missionary,” and how independence can be both terrifying and powerful.we also talk about:building creative community (online and irl)why authenticity always wins in the long runbeing seen on the internet and still staying humanposting, pivoting, experimenting, and letting yourself changeinner child energy, healing eras, and bringing magic backthis episode feels like a love letter to the process — not the finish line. ( wink wink )if you’re an artist, a creative, or just someone trying to build something meaningful without losing yourself, this one’s for you.connect with us:@sebastiancail@jasperbickersfor contacts & inquiries:jasperbickers.com

pilot episode: unfiltered thoughts on art, identity, and finding community in la
welcome to the pilot episode of how sebbie c’s it.this episode is basically a soft launch into my brain, my life, and why this podcast exists in the first place. i talk about moving to los angeles, what it’s actually like trying to find your footing here, and why i wanted to create a space that feels less performative and more honest.we get into pulling back the veil on “persona,” navigating loneliness while evolving into a new version of yourself, growing up in a strictly religious household, and what it means to build community when it feels like you’re starting from scratch. i also talk about songwriting vs podcasting, turning 25 (frontal lobe fully installed, unfortunately), seasonal depression, and why now felt like the right time to finally hit record.this podcast is for artists, creatives, and emotionally curious people who want real conversations about process, identity, relationships, and becoming who you’re meant to be—without pretending everything is aesthetic and easy all the time.this is just the beginning. more guests, more stories, more chaos (lovingly).thanks for being here 🤍follow me on tiktok & instagram: @sebastiancail
