Episode 16 Christ Happiness Is Just a taste away! Is.48:10

Our message begins with a taste of Chocolate... a "Dove" Chocolate. But, it moves on to consider God's gift to us as a premium gift. It takes a very common item in today's market place...advances through our own relationships to an awareness that there is another sweetness to life. It is offered to us in the the life and death of Jesus Christ.

Episode 29 "Changes For The New Year"

Today's message centers around teh problem some of us face in attempting to make pledges to ourselves and then keeping those pledges. New year affirmations of our self promises are hopes of making our lives even better in the new year. Welist Biblical examples of change techniques and some older ideas on how to keep our plans intact and on course. So often as the winds blow and time moves on -- our plans fade into next years plans or do not exist past the second day of the new year. God, does have something to say about planning your life. In fact we can gather some very important and influential info from the Bible. This information, whether a Christian seeking to improve your daily life, or a nonchristian, seeking the same pattern for daily living, is good material to the development of a plan. We must establish a "foundation" for change. Change does not "just" happen. As you change in this new year, grab hold of some thought that will help you hold firm to your pledge for change. Let us know how your plans worked. Dr. L. Loffelmacher, www.omniworldradio.com

Episode 28 "Promises For the Long Journey Home."

Part II of a Doctoral study of Theology. It is part poetry, part illuminating discourse forthe awakening soul. (It is posted as a fantasy of words - fashioned for thought.) We often hear Pastors talk of many things, or so it seems. However, as we listen, as a Christian or as a would be Christian, there are many similar notes that get played over and over again. However, this message does not limit the discourse to humans alone. Occasionly, the author takes in a view of God, as one who seeks us out-out of the wreckage of the past. That journey may take us around many curves, missed appointments, and missed or intentonally refused messages with meaning for our past and future. Often in refusing messages, with meaning, for our past or our future, we find a road once traveled must be traveled again and again, until one accepts the wisdom of a caring King. It is our gain, when after battle with our Lord, we discover a "trust of our own"...taking us to wisdom lost and now found, to discoveries once lost and now --there is a returning pathway emmerging as a pathway to a renewed relationship. It may be a "long journey home" but, well worth the effort and renewal.

    Episode 26

"My Burning Cup Of Fire" is poem written as a part of an advance degree program. I have attempted to post it earlier and it did not take. Please forgive -- I may have touched the wrong assignment. The poem does advance into simple format, however, it does require a "thinking process" moving the reader to the place of considering a "Master's Plan".

Episode 23 Recovery: "the Long Way Home"

This message is about recovery. Or, it is a "turn around" moment in life. For most of us, it is a moment in which we desire to return to a position in life...wherein we seek a recovery of a past that longs to find a new life in us. Recovery, then is not about others, it is about us. It is a change we must determine to make on our own. It may be a long way back, but it does not begin with others, it begins in us. It is the way of the Bible and God.

Episode 22 "The Eye Of Your Heart!"

This message is taken from Ephesians 1 & 2. The apostle Paul is generally consider to be the author of these amazing words. Paul has a way of writing that paint a picture, as one reads, that pulls us into the "word pictures" used by him. "The eye of you heart..." is one of those sayings...which turns our personal thoughts in towards oruselves. It is a way of looking at ourselves.not just as we might look at ourselves, rather, he points us to the obvious, that is - Paul points our thinking toward a higher call. It means that whatever your past represents, God is there for you- as the one who gives grace - the only condition being that we use "the eye of our heart."

Episode 39 Being Human vs. Being a Human Being!

This episode is a brief presenation of the sometimes errant use of a phrase we once viewed as being important to the values we considered important in developing a living value system. Today, however, the phrase,"He or she is just being human" is a way of defending the persons awful way of dealing with their children, friends, or co-workers. It is a growing wave of not knowing whether or not "being should precede or follow - human". The original title was: "On which side of human should being be?" It is a question our generation must ask...it determines destiny.

Episode 38 From Promise to Service

This episode may, if taken correctly, move us from the point of promise to service. It is a notation on a sermon given by Dr.Goerge Kennworthy. Moving from "promise" to "service" needs a support system. Empty promises will never lead to service. But, knowing a promising & fullfilling God, may provide the impetus for service to that same God.

Episode 37 Excelling In The Grace of giving!

Giving takes practice. "Grace" is a giving to us for the purpose of expressing God's love through us - for others. For the most part, giving is not natural, it has to be learned...practiced...and given. Excellence in giving becomes a part of our life as we practice caring about others, in prayer, and in real life.
