The discussion also touches on the practice of self-love and the impact of trauma on the nervous system.TakeawaysMoving from the head to the heart involves breaking conditioning and imprinting that restrict the soul's expression.Societal expectations and conditioning can create challenges in following the call of the soul, but it's important to overcome them.Fine-tuning the connection to the heart involves simple yet powerful practices, such as self-love and consistent listening to the heart's guidance. The journey from disconnection to self-love is challenging and unique for each individual.Essential oils can support the process of slowing down and connecting with oneself.Contortion is a metaphor for fitting in and the adaptability of humans.Trauma can impact the nervous system and disrupt the pace of life, requiring recalibration.Self-love practices, such as the 'I love you' practice, can help in the journey of self-discovery and healingMore about our guest: You can find Kirsty at www.kirstynazare.com and www.instagram.com/kirsty_nazareShe has been exploring ancient and modern wisdom traditions for 30 years and it's been a humbling and illuminating path. Her deepest wish is that all humans know the beauty of feeling connected to something bigger in a way that enhances their lives and that they remember the miracle of existence and be connected to the Earth of their body and the planet we get to call home. The Snake and The Jewel

"Live an uncomfortable life. An uncomfortable life is a life that is full of vitamin shots of life force."In this conversation, Kahreela and Fi discuss the importance of embracing discomfort and finding meaning in the beauty of nature and divine timing. Sometimes it is the low-level every day stresses of city life that become the biggest energy vampire. Kahreela shares her personal experience of a ceremony conducted in the desert in Egypt that started with the energy of the demon star, Algol and the mythology of Medusa. The myth is important today, highlighting issues of the freeze response, sexual assault, treatment of women, and suppression of female sexuality compared to male sexuality throughout time.Alone in the desert, during ceremony to connect to the deep Medusa (and snake) energy, they encountered a gang of wild barking dogs. Intimidated and threatened by the noise and energy, they realised that the dogs represented the patriarchy, the shadow of the snake. Working with the situation, pushing through the discomfort, the barking dogs disappeared, the light came and were replaced by peaceful dogs. TakeawaysEmbrace discomfort and find meaning in the beauty of nature.Engage in ceremony and shadow work to face fears and find personal growth.Trust the divine timing of the land and the power of the natural world.Step outside of your comfort zone to experience true transformation.Join the Lifeforce Cafe for access to live sessions, deeper conversations with our guests, and monthly activation and meditation sessions. https://www.starlight-temple.com/life-force-cafe Hosted on Acast. State not Story with Susie Smith

In this episode, we are joined by Susie Smith, a medicine woman and trauma-informed breathwork therapist. How often do we truly tap into our body's intelligence, our gut healthy and intuition and to really understand the vibrancy of our lifeforce energy? Susie explains how our nervous system and past traumas can influence our perceptions and interactions with others as our body holds the memory of all our lived and felt experiences. It is for this reason that Susie emphasizes the need for us to become more body aware in order for us to discern between gut feelings and energy when making judgments about people or situations. Susie challenges us to ask - how do you talk and listen to your body? TakeawaysThe nervous system plays a crucial role in our sense of safety and influences our behaviours and patterns.Regulating the nervous system through practices like breathwork can help shift from a state of fear to a state of safety. The nervous system affects not only our own well-being but also our interactions with others. There is a correlation between the nervous system and gut health, and addressing the breath and nervous system can improve digestive issues. Tuning into our body's intelligence and inner knowing is essential for making authentic and aligned decisions.Understanding our nervous system and past traumas can help us navigate our reactions and perceptions of others.Differentiating between gut feelings and energy can help us make more accurate judgments and avoid projecting our own issues onto others.Movement, dance, and breathwork are powerful tools for promoting emotional health, stimulating the vagus nerve, and increasing resilience.Engaging in a dialogue with our body and feeling and integrating emotions can lead to healing and personal growth.More about our guest: Founder of Intuitive Breathwork, Susie Smith is a fully qualified Breathwork Therapist and Trauma Informed Facilitator. By My Side

We should have called this episode "Not giving a f*ck!' In this conversation, Fiona and Kahreela discuss the power and wisdom that comes with age. We challenge the societal narrative that ageing means a decline in energy and value, and instead emphasise the strength, experience, and wisdom that comes with getting older. In so many cultures, outside of West thinking, age and the elderly are held in high social esteem. We ask, why don't we see that today in the UK? We also explore the importance of living in alignment with one's truth and the impact of speaking one's truth on personal growth and the world. Fi shares her experience of self-love and compassion that has grown as she has gotten older, and Kahreela discusses her journey of improving her relationship with space and silence. But most of all we reflect on the joy of giving less f*cks! The Requited Reverb

You get back what you give out - what mushrooms told us about love!In this conversation, we discuss Kahreela's recent mushroom ceremony in Egypt where she received a powerful download about requited love. The message that came back, the reverb, was clear; On matters of the heart, you can't outsource the answers to the mushrooms, you have to work this one out for yourself! This lead us on a flow of conversation into the concept of self-generating love and the importance of tuning to our own life-force energy first. What are the signals we are giving out on a daily basis and how are they being played back to us in the different areas of our lives? Our reverb energy is powerful so how can we be mindful of the quality of what we give out? TakeawaysRequited love requires opening your heart and generating love for yourself.Tuning in to yourself and trusting your intuition is essential for personal growth. The quality of what you give out determines the quality of what you receive.Self-generating love is energizing and sustainable.Listening to the reverb of your actions can provide valuable insights.Join The LIfeForce Cafe to receive extra live sessions with our hosts and special guests: https://www.starlight-temple.com/life-force-cafe Hosted on Acast. The Fearless Medicine with Alan Schechner

We are are joined by Alan Schechner, a Kambo practitioner, to discuss Kambo, a traditional Amazonian frog medicine. In this conversation Kahreela also share into the power of the medicine in releasing physical and emotional trauma. In 2014 A “chance” encounter with a young man in a Prague restaurant led Alan to Kambo. This young man told him the story of a strange frog medicine that had helped the man leave an unfulfilling job and pursue his childhood dream. As an academic, Alan was dubious about this medicine but was intrigued that this man’s life journey had been significantly and positively impacted and that he put this down to Kambo. A few months later, feeling stuck and spiritually in a dark place Alan contacted the man and asked if he knew of a Kambo practitioner in the UK, he took part in a Kambo ceremony and his world changed forever. As Kahreela has shared in previous episodes (Tickling the Frog), Kambo has a life-force energy and fearlessness that can be transformative for individuals seeking healing and personal growth. Western medicine often focuses on treating symptoms rather than addressing the root causes of illness; working with Kambo can unlock that which we keep hidden in our subconscious.Alan explains the Kambo process & ceremony in detail and also shares his personal experience of the effectiveness of Kambo on cancer patients that left us in awe.TakeawaysProper integration is crucial in medicine work to avoid re-traumatization and ensure a safe and transformative experience.Kambo and Ayahuasca have similarities in their ability to take individuals to deep subconcious places to facilitate emotional trauma release.Kambo is a living entity that scans the body and has the potential to address physical and mental illnesses.Kambo has shown promising results in treating cancer, with some individuals experiencing remission or slowed tumour growth. The life force energy of Kambo and its fearlessness can be transformative for individuals seeking healing and personal growth. Western medicine often focuses on treating symptoms rather than addressing the root causes of illness.Taking responsibility for one's own health and exploring alternative approaches can lead to a more holistic understanding of well-being.Medicine, such as Kambo, can provide pain relief and clarity for individuals facing serious illnesses. The integration of mind, body, and spirit is crucial in achieving optimal health and healing.Learn more about our guest: Alan Schechner is a master kambo practitioner and trainer at the International Association of Kambo Practitioners (IAKP). He has worked with a wide variety of clients worldwide treating issues including: cancer, auto-immune diseases, candida, parasites, chronic pain, chronic fatigue syndrome, emotional trauma, arthritis, depression, anxiety, infertility, substance misuse and addiction. F__K the Eclipse Window

We recorded this last year, in November, and have been saving it for the next Eclipse window which is 24-25th March 2024.What is an eclipse window? There are 2 or 3 eclipses every year. A solar and a lunar, and the eclipse window is the time between the two, between the new & full moon. It is a heightened time to work on shadow healing as patterns that we normally keep hidden in the subconscious will come to the surface, making the eclipse window feel like an extraordinarily challenging time for many of us. But trust us, it is THE time to start pulling up those weeds of old beliefs and embrace the space for new patterns to be created. During this window Fi's leaky roof challenged her to think - 'what else is leaking in your life'? Strangely Kahreela's roof has fallen in on this window.... what are you trying to tell us universe!Learn more about Kahreela's Shadow Work Sessions: https://www.starlight-temple.com/one-to-ones-with-kahreela Hosted on Acast.
