We explore the significance of what it means to be disciples 'together' in community.

As we enter our season teaching on 'discipleship', Brent looks at Jesus' description of the 'vine' in John 15:1-8.(Apologies for the variable sound quality in this recording!)

We look at Matthew 7:24-27 (part of the 'Sermon on the Mount') and what Jesus teaches about firm foundations.

As we say 'welcome back' to each other at our first regular Sunday gathering for 2026, we reflect on the story of the prodigal son, and how we are always welcomed back by our loving Heavenly Father.

Candace and Andrew wrap up our journey through Advent by looking at the stories of Simeon and Anna. We are invited to see Jesus amidst the noise and busy-ness of this season, and in the power of the Holy Spirit, like Simeon and Anna, to respond with hearts full of worship, gratitude and awe.(The song playing at the end is a version of ‘Angels We Have Heard on High’ by Shane and Shane,  © 2014 WellHouse Records).

We look at the magi (or wise men) as they follow the star towards Bethlehem and come to worship Jesus.

Gary continues our journey through Advent by looking at the shepherds in the fields near Bethlehem. Note: We had tech issues with this one! The recording cuts off before the end of the talk. The remaining two take-aways that we can glean from the story of the shepherds are (in summary):2. Be prepared to hear Gods' words to us. It may be be unexpected! But to be prepared we can spend time in His presence, connecting with Him3. Be prepared to respond to Gods' word. This may be part of Gods' bigger picture! This word and our response, whoever we are, is important to God.

We start our Advent season by looking at the story of Mary and Joseph, and reflect what it means to live in Advent; in the time of 'waiting'.

We heed Jesus' warnings against the behaviours of the scribes in Mark 12:38-40.

Candace explores Mark 11:15-18, reflecting on the account of Jesus cleansing the temple.

Matt takes us through Mark 11:1-11, with the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem.

In this season of Advent we reflect on Hope, Peace, Joy and Love. This week, Brent looks at the hope we have as we look towards Christmas.

We continue our 'In Christ' series. Matt looks at how we are made new in Christ, and how our reconciliation with Christ impacts how we can bring about reconciliation in our relationships and the world around us.

We continue to look at what it means to be 'in Christ'. Daniel reflects on how we are seated "in the heavenly places" in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:6).

We kick off our 'In Christ' series, looking at who Jesus is and our identity in Christ.Andrew starts us off by looking at what it means to 'rejoice in Christ'.

We ask the question: Does is matter to God how we worship? We explore different forms of worship expression and take a speedy tour through worship stories in the Bible. We end this series contemplating how we can only really worship in Spirit and truth if we worship through Jesus, and not in our own strength.

We explore why we are called to ‘sing a new song’. In worship, a ‘new song’ is a response to who God is, His victory, and His worth.

We take a moment to ask a practical question: why do we *sing*? We know worship is more than singing, so why do we spend time singing together? Because we’re told to, it declares who God is, it engages us in a unique way, and it unifies us!(Apologies, the first few minutes of this talk are missing from the recording! This included acknowledging that not everyone can physically sing, and how that does not necessarily mean they can’t ‘join in the song’).

In the second talk of our worship series, we look at Psalm 24. We ponder how impressive is the sinless life of Christ, who goes before us and makes a way for us to  enter into the most holy place.

We look at the story of Jesus healing Bartimaeus, the 'blind beggar' in Mark 10:46-52.

Brent leads us to reflect on the request of James and John.

Andrew explores Mark 10:32-34, when Jesus predicts his death for the third time. We reflect on how we can better listen to what God is saying, and what it means to have trust in patience when we don’t know what’s happening next.

Daniel leads us to reflect on the story of Jesus' encounter with the rich young ruler in Mark 10:17-31, and we question what we may be idolising today.

We reflect on what it means to receive the Kingdom of heaven 'like a little child'.

As we ask the Lord to lead us this year, we explore what it means to be ‘known’ by God, and why this is a good thing!

As we continue in Mark 9 we are challenged about judging others' ministries for not being exactly like ours, and we consider how we might lift up the name of Jesus even in everyday, ordinary acts of love.
