ASBL 62, Allen Spence, House Candidate, FL District 17, April 13, 2026
ASBL 62, Allen Spence, House Candidate, FL District 17, April 13, 2026The American Small Business League spoke with Allen Spence, Democrat candidate for Congress in Florida’s District 17. Allen brings over “20 years of experience in public service and economics to the fight for Southwest Florida.” His campaign is centered on “economic prosperity for all, reforming Social Security, and restoring Congress as a real check on the executive branch.” His website is www.Spence2026.com.Topics discussed:Allen’s “Prosperity Agenda.” From his website: “Floridians are being squeezed by rising costs, and far too many families are falling behind. Nearly 1 in 5 children in Florida, over 800,000, don’t know where their next meal is coming from. That is unacceptable. My economic plan focuses on immediate affordability, long-term growth, and restoring dignity for every family in Sarasota, Charlotte, and Lee Counties.”His district, in southwest Florida, is suffering from the Canadian boycott, the downturn in tourism caused by President Trump’s trade policies. The topsy-turvy tariffs of the past year and the uncertainty they cause are hurting the local economy and the area’s small businesses. The current Representative, Greg Steube, “won’t even have a town hall meeting. He won’t talk to the people in the district,” Allen said. “That’s un-American. There’s a fundamental problem with that.”With a petition asking that the incumbent conduct a town hall meeting, Allen went to Mr. Steube’s district office and found that it was really a fake office. Allen filed an Ethics Complaint against the incumbent for that. “He won’t even listen to constituents who are scared of leaving their homes because of their skin color. They’re afraid of being arrested by ICE. We need a revolution at the ballot box.”Allen thinks Congress is dysfunctional. “We need to increase the size of the House of Representatives. For the first 150 years of our history, the size of the House grew as our population grew. Then it was capped at 435 in 1929. This is what you see in two elections this century where the president has lost the national popular vote but has won in the Electoral College because smaller States are over-represented in the Electoral College.”Bruce de Torres, ASBL host, made the point that 435 Representatives are easier to influence by bribes or blackmail than a larger body (had the size of the House grown with the general population). “If you … imagine keeping the older, roughly 1910 ratio of about 210,000 people per representative [applied to today’s population], the House would be well over 1,600 seats today.” -perplexity.ai.

ASBL 61, Anna Wilding, House Candidate, CA District 32, April 9, 2026The American Small Business League (www.ASBL.com) spoke with Anna Wilding, who is running for Congress as a Democrat in California’s District 32, which lies “entirely within Los Angeles County in Southern California. It covers affluent western suburbs and neighborhoods of the City of Los Angeles [including] the city of Malibu, Pacific Palisades, Brentwood, Bel Air, Studio City, Sherman Oaks, Encino, Tarzana, Woodland Hills, West Hills, Canoga Park, Winnetka, Reseda, Chatsworth, Northridge, and parts of North Hills and Granada Hills.” -perplexity.ai.Anna grew up in the district and lives there now. She is “a proud American citizen, first generation immigrant with a diverse record of executive success, spanning government, business, the arts, entertainment, technology, energy, and crisis management.” -www.WildingForCalifornia.com.“One of the main reasons I’m running,” Anna told us, “is for change. I think Congress needs significant change right now. I’ve signed a pledge that people can stay in Congress only 10 years. I am challenging a 28-year incumbent who has become a single-issue representative.”Anna described the horrifying failures of government at every level that led to the wildfires that destroyed Malibu and the Pacific Palisades in January 2025, the failure to clean up the resulting sludge in the ocean, and the failure to help property owners rebuild their homes and their lives. From her YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/@AnnaWilding_forCongress:“I’m running because we need ethical leadership, practical solutions, and real-world experience in Washington, not more career politicians. I’ve lived the American Dream from the ground up. As a first-generation immigrant, I arrived in America alone more than 30 years ago. I worked three jobs to build my life. I went on to found companies, including one that reached #1 in its category on Amazon. I’ve created award-winning films and music videos, led earthquake relief efforts through my nonprofit, reported from the White House as a credentialed Senior White House Correspondent. … I bring real leadership and a deep understanding of both struggle and success to this race.”Learn more about Anna at www.WildingForCalifornia.com.The American Small Business League (www.asbl.com) wants Congress to stop big businesses from getting small business contracts (small businesses would create millions of jobs with those contracts and the economy would boom). ASBL 60, William Marks, Recent Candidate in Texas, District 25, March 16, 2026
ASBL 60, William Marks, Recent Candidate in Texas, District 25, March 16, 2026The American Small Business League (www.ASBL.com) spoke with William Marks, who ran for Congress as a Democrat in Texas, District 25, in the recent primary. (Dion Sims won.) William is a decorated combat veteran and award-winning navy communicator with 22 years in the military before working for six years at Meta. His website is www.WilliamMarks.com.What are your takeaways, lessons from your recent campaign? As a candidate for the House, you can be competitive in three ways. First, have two hundred thousand dollars to spend on day-one. You can hire a team. Build infrastructure. Set up your technology stack. And attract more money. “It takes money to get money.”The second way to be competitive on day-one is to already be famous. A celebrity. An athlete. An astronaut. Already have name recognition. The third way can be called the organic way, which is to have lived in the same area for decades and built up a large network. It helps if you’re maybe a small business owner or a teacher, something like that, where you interact with the public quite a bit.“I started out with none of those things,” William said. “But the Republican incumbent (Roger Williams) had not had a challenger since 2020. And I felt that the people at least deserve a choice. So, I decided to run.” To run a lean campaign. Use social media for all the free marketing possible. Do it full-time. William is a good public speaker. He did over 200 personal events over seven or eight months. He walked 380 miles. After 3 or 4 months of campaigning, Republicans in Texas redrew the district to try to win more seats. Now William was unknown in much of the new district. He had been campaigning in its old lines to people who now couldn’t vote for him.“But when people met me and heard my positions, they got on the team. They were very enthusiastic.” Primaries are less about your positions, more about name recognition. William ran against someone who had ninety years of family name recognition, Dion Sims.“I’m confident the Democratic party will flip the House.”The American Small Business League called the office of Republican incumbent Roger Williams recently about our www.DontCheatWomen.com goals (see below). He’s the chairman of the House Small Business Committee. Basically, we were told, that sounds DEI. We’re Republicans. So, we’re not going to do anything about that. William said, “Roger Williams is no friend of small business.” He inherited a car dealership that makes him a millionaire many times over.

ASBL 59 Amanda Bell, House Candidate, Wisconsin District 6
ASBL 59 Amanda Bell, House Candidate, Wisconsin District 6Amanda Bell is running for Congress as a Democrat in Wisconsin’s 6th District, where she was raised on a farm, then worked in local factories, then for 25 years she was with the U.S. Geological Survey, rising to Deputy Director of that multi-state federal agency, leading teams that studied and protected our nation’s most vital natural resources. Her website is www.AmandaBellForCongress.org.Highlights of our conversation:Amanda’s top priority is going out and listening to the people in her District, to show them that that’s what she will do as their Representative. “It’s time for politicians to be quiet and just listen to what people are struggling with.”Amanda’s whole career has been about public service. Helping others. “We should have elected officials whose hearts sing because they get to help others, rather than just trying to get ahead in their careers.”Her parents taught to do a good hard work every day. Her community taught her to make sure that her neighbors were okay. When someone was injured or their house burned down, they all got together to make sure those neighbors had what they needed to get back on their feet. That’s the kind of public servant that America is looking for (and the kind that Amanda will be).Professionally, Amanda focused on being a good steward of our land and resources (among her top priorities for the House). Clean air. Clean water. Without them, we will not survive. The quality of American education is another priority. The next generation must be given the highest quality foundational knowledge and experiences. Also important is a strong economy, with emphasis on the health of our small businesses. Everything is rising in cost. Good-paying jobs are essential. Why did you choose to run?Things changed quickly for federal employees at the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) when the Trump administration arrived last year. Amanda was on the management team of a $33 million dollar portion of the agency’s budget, overseeing three states, in charge of 13 facilities and a 120-vehicle fleet. She could have stayed silent and spent the next 12 years until retirement, but the DOGE cuts opened her eyes. To fire everyone hired in the last year, no matter how talented and committed, as the only criteria for trimming expenses made no sense. Her Representative in Congress seemed ineffectual in response. So, Amanda arranged to retire early, left the federal government, and launched her candidacy for the House in October 2025 “because I want to make sure the people are represented.”Again, her website is www.AmandaBellForCongress.org.

ASBL 57 Sanjyot Dunung, House Candidate, Illinois District 8
ASBL 57 Sanjyot Dunung, House Candidate, Illinois District 8Sanjyot Dunung is running as a Democrat for Congress in Illinois’s District 8. She is a “Small Business Founder, Social Scientist, Policy Expert, Educator, Military Mom and Caregiver.” She’s running “because families in our district deserve experienced, solutions-driven leadership grounded in facts, evidence, and real-world experience, not slogans or political theater.”A large part of why Sanjyot is running is the lack of common-sense solutions to help our small businesses. “Small businesses are the backbone of our community. More than 90% of the jobs come from small businesses.” Sanjyot has written textbooks on international business and global management. This is a big conversation about what Sanjyot wants to do for her District and for America’s small businesses. Her website is www.SanjyotForCongress.com, which says:“As your representative in Congress, I will:”Lower everyday costs for working families.Protect Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, and Veterans’ programs.Make childcare, elder care, and disability care affordable.Strengthen education and skills training so people can thrive in tomorrow’s economy.Defend reproductive freedom and our fundamental rights.Keep our communities safe from gun violence.Protect our democracy and America’s principled global leadership.Deliver practical, innovative policies that reflect how the world — and economy — really works. We also discussed the American Small Business League (www.asbl.com), which wants Congress to stop big businesses from getting small business contracts (small businesses would create millions of jobs with those contracts and the economy would boom), and our Don’t Cheat Women project:· Raise from 5% to 15% the federal contract dollars that must go to women-owned small businesses. ASBL 56 Joshua McKee, House Candidate, Alabama District 1
Joshua McKee is running for Congress as a Republican in Alabama’s 1st District. A decorated U.S. Army Green Beret, Joshua spent 25 years serving our nation around the world and led Special Forces teams through combat and crisis. His website, www.McKeeForCongress.com, says, “In civilian life, Joshua served as a Global Strategist for General Motors, a solutions architect for Hewlett-Packard, and an entrepreneur who built businesses and signed both sides of a paycheck. He’s running to reform broken systems like the VA and restore the American Dream for Alabama families.”Highlights of our conversation:Joshus decided to run after seeing the amount of taxpayer dollars lost to fraud and the lack of accountability exposed by the DOGE investigations. A small business owner, he knows that “Regulations are really built for large corporations that have teams of lawyers and lobbyists, not for the family business, the small businesses that have less than 100 employees.”“In my normal messaging, there are two things that are important: the Veterans Administration and small businesses. Then [third], the education of our American youth. Those are the top three that I talk about in my [campaign] messaging.”Josh took a medical retirement from the military after a brain tumor was discovered, believed to be caused by a traumatic brain injury. After surgery, the VA had no doctor for him.“I ended up having 8 strokes in 9 months and lost my ability to speak and I was walking with a cane. It was January a year ago when I got my speech back. It was a struggle, to see how the VA had forgotten about me. They didn’t have the resources to treat every vet that comes through those doors.”“My voice came back, and an MRI came back clean. There was medical explanation of how there was nothing there or what happened or how I healed.”“I know by the grace of God is how I healed. So, the VA for me is at the top of the list, so our veterans, our heroes, get access to the care they need. Alabama is ranked 49th for mental healthcare access. So, unfortunately, when you hear of a veteran committing suicide, look at Alabama because it’s probably where it happened. We just had one happen at the beginning of the New Year. We’ve got focus on what’s going on in the VA. Somewhere, there’s a problem. We’ve got to get that resolved.”We also discussed the goals of our www.DontCheatWomen.com project. We want Congress to:· Raise from 5% to 15% the federal contract dollars that must go to women-owned small businesses.· Define a small business as 100 or less employees.· Make the Small Business Administration prove that small business contracts go to small businesses (and give the SBA a budget and staff as big as its mission, which is to help the 99.9% of all firms in America which are small businesses).Because:· Women are half the population. They own 40% of all businesses. They sell what the government buys. (It’s not charily or DEI or affirmative action.)· But they get less than 5% of federal contract dollars. Companies owned by men get at least 95%.Because they earn and save more than women, men dominate in politics. They donate more to campaigns and have more influence with the winners. It’s easier for men to run for office. The American Small Business League (www.asbl.com) wants to stop big businesses from getting small business contracts. ASBL 55 Bushra Amiwala, House Candidate, Illinois District 9
ASBL 55 Bushra Amiwala, House Candidate, Illinois District 9Bushra Amiwala is running for Congress as a Democrat in Illinois’ 9th District, which includes part of Chicago. Her priorities include Education, Economic Justice, Immigration, and Healthcare. She’s running because “the rich are getting richer, the middle class is shrinking, special interest groups are plaguing our elections, there are humanitarian crises worldwide: and our taxpayer dollars are paying for it.”Bushra has an MBA, a B.S. in Information Systems, and a double minor in Community Service Studies and Public Policy Studies. In 2019, Bushra was elected to the Skokie School District 73.5 Board of Education, and re-elected in 2023, running unopposed. From her website, www.bushraforcongress.com:“Born in Chicago to Pakistani immigrant parents and raised in Skokie, Bushra has lived in IL-09 her entire life. As an innovative problem solver Bushra made history as the first Gen Z elected official in the United States.”“Bushra has put herself through college (twice) with an MBA from Kellogg Northwestern’s School of Management (in District, too!), a B.S in Information Systems and a double minor in Community Service Studies and Public Policy Studies from DePaul University, Bushra serves as a shining example of what is possible with hard work, determination, and a little bit of hope.”“In 2019, Bushra was elected to the Skokie School District 73.5 Board of Education, advancing transparency by livestreaming all public board meetings, accessibility, by offering Halal, Kosher and Vegetarian food options for all students, inclusion by offering access to after school programming and curriculum to students free of charge - so cost is never a barrier. She was re-elected in 2023, running unopposed, and continues to serve her community with dedication.”The American Small Business League, www.asbl.com, wants Congress to stop the diversion of federal small business contracts to large corporations, make federal agencies reveal the companies that get small business contracts, and raise from 5% to 15% the federal contract dollars that must go to women-owned small businesses. That requires an overhaul of the Small Business Administration (SBA). It should expose, not cover up, the billions of dollars in small business contracts that go to large corporations every year. The goals of the ASBL’s www.DontCheatWomen.com project are:· Raise from 5% to 15% the amount of federal contract dollars that must go to women-owned small businesses (which would raise from 23% to 33% the amount that must go to small businesses in general).· Define a small business as 100 or less employees – because 98% of all businesses in America have less than 100 employees. Small business contracts should not go to firms with 500, 1,000, or 2,000 employees, as they do now.· Make the Small Business Administration prove that small business contracts go to small businesses.· Give the SBA a budget and staff as big as its mission (to help small businesses). The Trump administration is cutting the SBA budget and staff and plans to burden it with the $1.7 trillion dollar student loan portfolio, perhaps setting it up to fail.Women are half the population. They own 40% of all businesses. They sell what the government buys. But companies owned by men get over 95% of federal contracts, which helps men dominate in politics (because they earn and save more than women). Men donate more to campaigns and so have more influence with the winners. And it’s easier for men to run for office.

ASBL 54 William Marks, House Candidate, Texas District 25William Marks is running for Congress as a Democrat in Texas, District 25. He is a decorated combat veteran and award-winning navy communicator with 22 years in the military, then he worked for at Meta, Facebook’s parent company, for six years. His website is www.WilliamMarks.com.With the ASBL’s Lloyd Chapman (founder and president) and Bruce de Torres (director of communications) William discussed his campaign, his opponent (Roger Williams, Chairman of the House Small Business Committee), and Lloyd’s accusation that Republicans are anti-small business.“Based on the research I’ve done,” William said, “I concur with you. In Texas, I see Republicans pulling the wool over [the eyes of small business] with the rhetoric of support, but they really support billion-dollar big businesses.”“When [federal agencies] classify large businesses as small businesses [for the purpose of awarding small business contracts], they’re just giving corporate welfare to these large businesses, taking away from those true, local community small businesses.”“Roger Williams strolls into chambers of commerce and pretends he’s a champion for small business when you and I know [he’s] really protecting big businesses.”Lloyd said, “It’s worse than that. Not only are they protecting big business. They’re anti-small business. The current budget under the Republican Congress and Trump cuts the SBA budget to its lowest in history, lower than the budget it had 50 years ago.”“And Trump’s trying to close offices around the country that help women-owned businesses and veteran-owned businesses.”After the military, William listened to the needs of thousands of small businesses around the country and supported them with hundreds of thousands of dollars of grants through Meta, his employer.William endorses the goals of our www.DontCheatWomen.com project:We want Congress to:· Raise from 5% to 15% the federal contract dollars that must go to women-owned small businesses.· Define a small business as 100 or less employees.· Make the Small Business Administration prove that small business contracts go to small businesses (and give the SBA a budget and staff as big as its mission, which is to help the 99.9% of all firms in America which are small businesses).Because:· Women are half the population. They own 40% of all businesses. They sell what the government buys.· But they get less than 5% of federal contract dollars. Companies owned by men get at least 95%.· Without economic fairness, women are not political equals.Because they earn and save more than women, men dominate in politics. Men donate more to politicians and therefore have more influence. It’s easier for men to run for office. ASBL 53 Xavier Carrigan, House Candidate, Iowa District 3
ASBL 53 Xavier Carrigan, House Candidate, Iowa District 3Xavier Carrigan is a Democrat running for the House in Iowa’s 3rd District to bring a working-class perspective, educational insight, and creative problem-solving to Washington. His website is www.XCarrigan.com.Xavier is a teacher, communicator, and advocate who wants our government to work for the people who make this country run. He knows what it means to hustle and fight for a better future. He has his Master's in Linguistics and Bilingual Education and has taught English as a Second Language at institutions such as Ohio State, Arizona State, Ohio Northern, Owens, and Findlay, as well as internationally in Japan, South Korea, and Saudi Arabia. Some highlights of our conversation:In early 2025 Xavier thought that two declared candidates in Iowa would be business-as-usual. Then he decided to run for Congress “when Trump unilaterally struck Iran [in June] because I have family there. I’m half Persian. My family got out of Tehran when that happened, but they did lose some friends and that was motivation enough [and] I feel we need somebody who’s more connected with the working class than politics-as-usual in this moment.”“I feel I have that direct connection with the working class, even the unemployed. I can understand where you’re at because I’ve been in your shoes.”What do you want to do?“Medicare for all is probably at the top of the list, followed by climate change and women’s rights and ending the student loan debt. It’s a burden that other countries around the world have managed to figure out and there are very easy solutions. [The resistance comes from] inconveniencing the billionaire class.”Regarding Medicare and healthcare in America, “We all know the truth. We’re being price-gouged, the worst in the world, especially when it comes to prescription medication.” He described a two-and-a-half-day hospital stay that ended up with a $37,000 bill which got dropped to around $3,700, “which kind of proves what the real bill should be.”And we discussed our small business issues:The American Small Business League (www.asbl.com) wants to stop big businesses from getting small business contracts. (Small businesses would create millions of jobs with those contracts and the economy would boom.)Our www.DontCheatWomen.com project wants to end discrimination against women in federal contracting. ASBL 52 Vance Bostic, House Candidate, NY District 8Vance Bostic is running as a Democrat for Congress in NY’s 8th District (mostly in Brooklyn), the seat currently held by House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (“a failure in the district”).From www.VanceBforNY8.com:Born and raised in the projects of Coney Island, Vance has worked in every corner of the service industry. Along the way, he got his MBA. He sees our “elected officials” as weak-willed and corporate-backed, standing by while democracy crumbles and the rich get richer.Highlights from our conversation:Congress has lost its humanity. We need real public servants, not career politicians; representatives who care about the people and will put humanity first.Vance wants great communication with the district (polls, etc.) so he can write bills for their wants and needs, so they can tell him what to do as their representative.PLATFORMHousing Is a Human RightArtists & Gig Workers Bill of Rights (for such jobs as Uber, Door Dash, etc.)Medicare For AllEnding Citizens UnitedSingle-Subject BillsJustice & SafetyHow has Jeffries failed the district? “I’ve seen him at union rallies. Then he votes for things like Amazon’s union busting. He smiles to our face but votes against us behind our backs. He voted against capping credit card interest. He gets a lot of money from Wall Street and Big Pharma and votes against Medicare for all. The things we keep asking for, he’s not in favor of.”And we discussed our small business issues:The American Small Business League (www.asbl.com) wants to stop big businesses from getting small business contracts. ASBL 51 Jimmy Skovgard, U.S. Senate Candidate, Wyoming
ASBL 51 Jimmy Skovgard, U.S. Senate Candidate, WyomingJimmy Skovgard is a Republican running for the U.S. Senate in Wyoming. He has also worked in the private sector and run his own business. His site is www.Skovgard2026.org. Jimmy will, “Sponsor and fight for term limits for the House and Senate, bring Wyoming’s voice — your voice — to Congress using secure, modern tech, and represent you.”From our conversation:Jimmy is running a grassroots campaign, since he is “outside any established political organization. If my opponents have all the money, then I just need all the volunteers.”“For me, it’s about responsibility, integrity, character. When you say [you’re going to do] something, you do it. You don’t lie to your constituency.”“My business was cleaning up messes in oil fields. Maybe I can start cleaning up messes in Congress.” Term limits are a top priority, to get new blood, new ideas, new excitement working for Wyoming. “Folks are in there forever.” He cites John Barrasso, Wyoming senator for 18 years, who says he stands with Trump. Shouldn’t he stand for Wyoming?Jimmy’s building a tool to gauge public opinion about political issues and policies, to get public input on “hot button topics. If you can’t gauge what your constituency wants, then how do you represent them?”Federal overreach is a big concern. If solutions can be created at the county or state levels, they should be. Then states can ask for federal help if they need it. The states are different. “It’s not one size fits all. We’re all a little different.”And we discussed our small business issues:The American Small Business League (www.asbl.com) wants to stop big businesses from getting small business contracts. When he came home, he worked as an intelligence analyst, a policy expert, and later as a senior presidential advisor for AmeriCorps. At the Small Business Administration, he worked to help veterans start their own businesses.John’s running to defend democracy, lower costs for working families, revive small businesses, and build the infrastructure of the future. His website is www.LiraForCongress.com.Born and raised on the southeast side of San Antonio, a big working-class community, John enlisted at 17, which inspired him to live a life of service. After the military, he used the G.I Bill to get degrees in political science and public policy (his master’s from Carnegie Mellon University) and became a policy analyst, to help elected and appointed leaders at the highest levels make important decisions for their constituents. His experience (in the military, in AmeriCorps and with the SBA) has taken him “to the forefront of a lot of federal policies and a lot of federal issues. “He was the Democratic nominee for Congress in 2022.What are you running to do?“It’s tabletop issues for working-class communities, those on the front lines of feeling the effects of tariff increases, corporate price gouging, SNAP benefits being halted, healthcare subsidies going away. A lot of it has to do with bringing down these costs.”“For a lot of young families, rent is too expensive. The thought of buying a house seems very distant because inflation and the cost of housing have gone up. There’s not enough affordable housing. The price of automobiles, even childcare. The average cost in San Antonio [for childcare] is $700 a week. Monthly, that’s more than some are paying for rent or mortgages.”“We really want to get these costs under control. There’s a lot we can do to make our dollar as powerful as it once used to be.”And we discussed our small business issues:The American Small Business League (www.asbl.com) wants to stop big businesses from getting small business contracts. ASBL 49 Rob Lucero, House Candidate, California District 34
ASBL 49 Rob Lucero, House Candidate, California District 34Rob Lucero is running as a Democrat for Congress in California’s District 34. We discussed his reasons for running and our small business issues. His website is www.LuceroForCongress.com.“It’s time for dramatic change in Congress, dramatic change at the federal level of our government, and it’s time to clean up our cities. Los Angeles is the second largest city in America. It’s time to clean this place up. Since Covid, the shutdown, L.A. has not come back.”“I’m running as a real New Deal candidate. I’m big on public credit and credit creation from small local banks that feed the heart of America, which of course is small business.”In Los Angeles, four city council members are Democratic Socialists, and people are not happy with “the direction of public safety, the economy, the cleanliness of the city. It’s filthy, and it doesn’t need to be this way. Those are the leading issues. The public safety part [pertains to both] families and businesses.”Some of the Democratic Socialists are abolitionists. They want to abolish the police. “Completely insane. Not something that businesspeople signed up for. Not something that families signed up for. L.A. can again be an amazing city, an amazing region [but we also have to] rebuild whole parts of the U.S.”“I’m talking about a $5 trillion-dollar national infrastructure bank as a start.” For example, “For every dollar that that U.S. government put into the G.I. Bill, which [let people buy, find or start] starter homes and jobs and businesses, the economy got back $6 or $7 dollars. It spurred local banking. It spurred local activity.”“The American Association of Civil Engineers has said that we have at least a $4 trillion-dollar deficit in our infrastructure. [We get straight Cs, Ds and Fs on their report card.] Bridges. Roads. It’s just a disaster.”“My campaign is really to revive an honest assessment of who we are, where we are, especially as we come into the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence in 2026. We have all these [anniversaries] to reflect on as we rebuild the nation. It’s going to take a generation to do a lot of what we have to do.”Rob has B.A. in Global Politics and a Master’s in Public Administration from USC. He’s been active in politics since the 1992 Presidential campaign. In 2016, he founded the American System Group, a consultancy that leads projects serving to rejuvenate that which made America great in the first place: Abraham Lincoln’s American System of Political Economy. From 2018 through the summer of 2020, Rob produced and hosted “New Deal Radio,” the most listened to New Deal podcast at the time. He recently served as a city commissioner for Culver City, has worked in California state government, and has been an advisor to elected tribal leaders and a director on several successful local, state, tribal, and federal political campaigns.

He told us, “We’re in an affordability crisis, in America. People aren’t able to afford the extra things in life [or in] retirement … because things have gotten prohibitively expensive.”“Being a veteran, I want to make sure that our veterans are taken care of. The Pentagon hates small business programs.”The American Small Business League (www.asbl.com) works to end the diversion of federal small business contracts to big businesses. ASBL 45 Anna Wilding, Candidate for Congress, California District 32We discussed Democrat Anna Wilding’s reasons for running, her background and experience, and her knowledge of and enthusiasm for women’s issues, particularly our www.dontcheatwomen.com project, to help women-owned small businesses get a fair share of the federal contract dollars that are supposed to go to America’s small businesses.“I’m running because all Americans and my district deserve leadership they can count on, leadership that can bring expertise to the table. One of the big challenges that we have is that there are so many lawyers and accountants in Congress rather than people who can build things, make things, fix things and resolve things.”“There is a place for lawyers. I hire them, for thirty years, in entertainment, philanthropy, you name it. But I’ve yet to meet one with the vision to be a great business leader or person to lead people through massive crises. They’re very good for writing the paperwork for what’s needed rather than actually doing and fixing things on the ground.”“That’s very evident in the [Los Angeles] fire zones in my district that have been destroyed by the [fires earlier this year]. It’s like they’re trying to litigate their way out of a crisis rather than dealing with the planning issues, fire management issues, the water issues and everything that needs to be dealt with. It’s really not how crisis zones work. I’ve worked extensively in crisis zones. And it really takes doers.”“Then we have the rest of the district which has totally different needs and wants and concerns and issues … the cost of living, education, small business [survival and] healthcare.”From www.wildingforcalifornia.com:“The 32nd district is Malibu, Topanga Canyon, Bel Air, Simi Valley, part of Studio City, northern part of Beverly Hills, Woodland Hills, Sherman Oaks, Bell Canyon, Beverly Glen, Brentwood, Canoga Park, Chatsworth, Encino, North Hills, Northridge, Pacific Palisades, Reseda, Sherman Oaks, Studio City, Tarzana, Topanga, West Hills, Winnetka, and Woodland Hills.”“I am a proud American citizen and immigrant. I bring fresh ideas and a deep-rooted understanding of both America and the world. From the boardroom to small and large businesses, to the inner press corps inside the White House under both administrations, I’ve spent my life holding people and institutions to account fighting for what’s right and creating real change.”“I’ve led through challenge and transition, fixed what isn’t working, and built progress where others saw obstacles. Now, I’m putting that experience to work for Californians tackling our state’s sky-high cost of living, addressing gender, racial, and economic injustices, and rebuilding our cherished communities destroyed in fires with integrity and compassion. It’s time to lead with purpose, expand opportunity, restore fairness, and bring both smarts and empathy back to leadership just in time for an incredible Olympics ahead and a brighter future for all.”See how small business contracts go to big businesses at www.asbl.com.See how you can help end discrimination against women in federal contracting at www.DontCheatWomen.com.#annawilding #wildingforcalifornia #womenownedsmallbusinesses #americansmallbusinessleague #dontcheatwomen

I gained valuable experiences in the technology and communications field and know how to work with the private sector for the betterment of the American people.”In this conversation, William said that he, first, wants to make jobs better, with a living wage and better benefits. Big corporations should invest in their employees, with training and education.Second, improve healthcare, reform our broken healthcare system and get it right. ASBL 42 Ronnie Murchinson-Rivera, Candidate for Congress, FL District 6Ronnie Murchinson-Rivera is running for Congress as a Democrat in Florida’s District 6. A community activist, EMS (Emergency Medical Services) veteran, police officer, deputy sheriff, and local youth football coach, he is committed to Medicare and Medicaid, affordable housing, economic security for working families, safer communities, and making sure that every voice is heard.Learn all about him at www.ron4congress.com.Highlights:Ronnie was raised in New York City. His EMS godmother inspired him with stories of helping people. He volunteered as a teen for ambulance services and qualified in EMS at the age of 18.At 21 he formed a non-profit on Rockaway Beach to provide free or low-cost ambulance services to compensate for the 30-minute wait that the community was dealing with. That effort was thwarted but they did other good things for the community. In 2017 he moved to Florida and became a policeman, then deputy sheriff. The current representative of his district has pulled funding from teachers and from schools. Because of such things, Ronnie launched his campaign for the House of Representatives. He’s unhappy about the government shutdown, which is hurting millions of people and will hurt more if SNAP benefits (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) expire on November 1 as they are scheduled to.He is a staunch supporter of women’s rights, proud to be part of the Democratic Party with its tradition of being “the party of the people, working for the good of all the people.”Healthcare is important because he saw people literally choose to die rather call an ambulance and face a high bill, between $900 and $1,500 where he was in NYC.Then we discussed our www.dontcheatwomen.com project. In response, Ronnie has drafted and will campaign for the Women’s Economic Fairness and Small Business Empowerment Act. He said working for this will probably be one of his first goals when he gets to Congress. Our Don’t Cheat Women agenda:We want everyone to tell Congress to:• Raise from 5% to 15% the amount of federal contract dollars that must go to women-owned small businesses.• Define a small business as 100 or less employees – because 98% of all businesses in America have less than 100 employees. (Small business contracts should not go to firms with 500, 1,000, or 2,000 employees, as they do now.)• Make the Small Business Administration prove that small business contracts go to small businesses (and give the SBA a budget and staff as big as its mission, to help small businesses – the Trump administration is cutting the SBA budget and staff and plans to burden it with the $1.7 trillion dollar student loan portfolio).Because:Women are half the population. They own 40% of all businesses. And they sell what the government buys.Men dominate in politics because they earn and save more than women. ASBL 41 David Redkey, Candidate for Congress, AZ District 1
ASBL 41 David Redkey, Candidate for Congress, AZ District 1David Redkey is running for Congress as a Democrat in Arizona’s 1st District. He is a teacher, husband and father who has proudly called Arizona home for nearly four decades. “As a passionate advocate for working families, he is running … to champion Foundation Economics — putting people over profits and restoring integrity to government.” (www.davidredkey4congress.com)Highlights:David wants to focus on working people and the middle class. Rebuilding their opportunities. “They have been destroyed for decades.” He wants to address the anger that fueled the MAGA movement, a lot of which was economic frustration. Working- and middle-class people want livable wages so they can afford things. Inflation is out of control. David wants to be a voice for all those who feel left behind. From his site, www.davidredkey4congress.com:Foundation Economics Executive SummaryFoundation Economics restores a simple deal: markets can be dynamic and innovative, so long as wealth can’t pile up endlessly at the top, wages keep up with productivity, and families can actually afford the basics. The policy mix uses very high marginal tax rates on ultra-high incomes and concentrated profits to push excess capital back into productive use, while pairing that with powerful, automatic tax credits that make living-wage jobs the best deal in town. Core family costs—especially childcare—are fully covered at modest incomes so parents can work, save, and thrive. Then we discussed the American Small Business League’s www.dontcheatwomen.com project. We want people to ask their representatives and Senators to:• Raise from 5% to 15% the amount of federal contract dollars that must go to women-owned small businesses (which would raise from 23% to 33% the amount that must go to small businesses in general).• Define a small business as 100 or less employees – because 98% of all businesses in America have less than 100 employees. Small business contracts should not go to firms with 500, 1,000, or 2,000 employees, as they do now.• Make the Small Business Administration prove that small business contracts go to small businesses and give the SBA a budget and staff as big as its mission (to help small businesses).Because:Women are half the population. And …Without economic fairness, women can’t be political equals.Men dominate in politics because they earn and save more than women. They give more to politicians and therefore have more influence. It’s easier for men to run for office. Men hold roughly 75% of seats in the House, Senate, State Legislatures, and cabinet positions, almost that many governorships, and 90% of committee chair and party leadership positions. The American Small Business League (www.ASBL.com) works to end the diversion of federal small business contracts to big businesses. Our www.DontCheatWomen.com project seeks to end discrimination against women in federal contracting.Raising to 15% the federal contract dollars that must go to women-owned small businesses would be a great first step. Men hold more political offices and have more political influence simply because they earn and save more than women. ASBL 40 Eric Yonce, Candidate for Congress, FL District 6
ASBL 40 Eric Yonce, Candidate for Congress, FL District 6Eric Yonce is running for Congress as a Democrat in Florida’s 6th District. His campaign is about “restoring accountability, fairness, and common sense. This starts with getting big money out of politics so we can actually tackle the issues that matter: cost of living, healthcare, and housing.” (www.yonceforcongress.com)Some highlights:“We have to have representatives that truly understand what the constituents and voters need and will listen to them. … We need a government that’s going to work for us and not the corporations.”Eric wants, among other things, accountability for developers/homebuilders. Over-development contributes to flooding that didn’t used to happen after regular afternoon thunderstorms. Homes are built quickly by builders who control almost every aspect, including inspection. Buyers move into houses that aren’t ready, that shouldn’t have passed inspection, but they did. There are many defects, including leaks and mold. Then the builder is gone. Nowhere to be found. And insurance companies often reject the homeowners’ claims. Eric will work for new systems of accountability.Tackling the cost of living is a priority, to build an economy that works for everyone. His is a rural district. Its community centers are made of small businesses, and they are struggling. “We have to start investing back into Main Street, if you will, to allow these communities to thrive.”And we discussed the agenda of the American Small Business League (www.ASBL.com), which is working to end the diversion of federal small business contracts to big businesses. “Washington basically does nothing for our small businesses, which are 99.9% of all businesses in America.”Our www.DontCheatWomen.com project, which seeks economic and political fairness for women. Men hold more political offices and have more political influence simply because they earn and save more than women. That must change. ASBL 39 Lloyd Chapman, Our Don’t Cheat Women Project
ASBL 39 Lloyd Chapman, Our Don’t Cheat WomenLloyd Chapman, American Small Business League founder and president, discusses our www.dontcheatwomen.com project.“Candidates should run to end discrimination against women in federal contracting. They’d be crazy not to.”According to the U.S. Census Bureau, 99.9% of all businesses are small businesses. Small businesses create the vast majority of all net new jobs. They employ half the workforce. America is a small business economy. They are supposed to get at least 23% of all federal contract dollars, with 5% going to women-owned small businesses. Here’s the problem:Women are half the population. They own 40% of all businesses. They sell what the government buys. How is 5% even remotely fair? It’s not. And they almost never get that much. The government admits that women got 5% twice in the last 30 years, in 2015 and 2019.Half the taxpayers (women) are getting less than 5% of federal contracts, while men are getting 95%. Lloyd thinks that is illegal; that a lawsuit for discrimination would win under the Civil Rights Act. (Should women pay 5% of taxes and men pay 95%?)The federal government is the world’s biggest purchaser of goods and services, projected to spend $800 billion in 2025. Lloyd says it’s actually twice that. But the point is, it buys everything, including what is made by women-owned small businesses.Women own over 14 million businesses. They generate $2.7 trillion in annual revenue. They employ 12 million people. They are a force to be reckoned it.And elections are won by small margins, often. Candidates who champion our goal of raising from 5% to 15% the contract dollars that must go to women-owned small businesses (WOSBs) will win, we believe. That would raise to 23% the contracts going to small businesses in general and create an economic boom. The Chair of the Senate small business committee in 2010 said that for every 1% increase in contracts to small businesses, 100,000 jobs get created. If WOSBs got 15% and all small businesses 33%, that would be 3.3 million new jobs created on top of the 2 million jobs that America typically creates every year, a gigantic economic surge for the middle class.“Why would you not want to do that?”Plus, it would help women become political equals. Men dominate because they earn and save more than women.Men donate more to campaigns and therefore have more influence with politicians. Men run and win more offices than women. Men hold roughly 75% of all seats in the House, the Senate, all state legislatures, all presidents’ cabinets… almost that many governor chairs … and 90% of committee chair and party leadership positions. When women participate as equals in the councils of government, Lloyd says we might have fewer wars.Lloyd said the government cheats small businesses in two ways.First, Fortune 500 firms get hundreds of billions of dollars in contracts that are called small business contracts (blamed on miscodings or computer glitches). Second, the government excludes at least half of all federal acquisitions from the requirement that 23% of those should go to small businesses.See all this and more at www.dontcheatwomen.com.The American Small Business League (www.ASBL.com) is working to end the diversion of federal small business contracts to big businesses. ASBL 38. Lloyd Chapman, Censorship on XLloyd Chapman, founder and president of the American Small Business League (www.asbl.com) describes the censorship he is experiencing on X.com (www.x.com/LloydChapman).Ask an AI program, “Is it true that multiple entities have the ability to suppress content on X?” See for yourself. Also ask:“How many censorship programs has the U.S. government created that are currently active on social media platforms?”“What country has had the most content removed from X?”“Is it true that posts that mentions the word genocide will be suppressed on X?” The answer will be yes.Lloyd says there is zero free speech on X. None.Lloyd has almost 18,000 followers on X. His posts get less than 100 views. He says that’s impossible. Last year he had 3 million views a day. How does that go down to 100?He boosted a post that had 300,000 views. Some say your views (300,000) should get 1% comments (3,000). It got 11 comments.A few days ago, a year’s worth of posts disappeared off Lloyd’s profile. He asked www.perplexity.ai, “Is it true that X removed over a year’s worth of posts from Lloyd Chapman’s profile,” and it said yes. He posted that Perplexity-answer on X. Within moments, his posts were restored.Lloyd mostly posts perplexity.ai answers to the questions he asks. He posts very little personal opinion.None of his followers can see his posts. The people who comment, etc., are not his followers. And most responses are attacks. Musk lied when he said there’s free speech on X, says Lloyd. When Lloyd asked Perplexity, if people can prove that paying to boost a post does nothing, could they win a class-action lawsuit against X for breach of contract and fraud, for fabricating the number of views on posts? Perplexity said yes. The damages could be millions and billions of dollars. It’s the Pentagon doing this censorship, Lloyd says, under the guise of censoring hate speech. Search for the programs called WiseDex and Civil Sanctuary. They are U.S. government AI censorship programs. Ask your favorite AI program,“How many AI censorship programs are active on social media sites in America?”Here’s the answer on www.perplexity.ai on Oct. 21, 2025As of late 2025, there are between five and seven active artificial intelligence–based censorship and surveillance programs operating across major U.S.-based social media platforms, funded or directed through different federal agencies and legislative mandates. They vary in openness—some are public initiatives, while others operate through interagency data-sharing or “safety” partnerships with private tech firms.

ASBL 37 Lloyd Chapman, The White Van Story
ASBL 37 Lloyd Chapman, The White Van StoryLloyd has sued many agencies of the federal government, mostly the Pentagon, since 1989, winning 100+ legal battles, exposing fraud and corruption in federal contracting. They don’t like that. And they want you to stop. Often, they’ll fabricate a federal case against you. “That’s a common thing.” To ruin your life. Lloyd has had a lot of things happen to him.Around 2010, a white van parked near Lloyd’s office, day after day, disturbing the staff, feeling he may have been a peeping Tom. So, they got the license plate number, and a cop friend looked it up. It belonged to Federal Express. So, Lloyd called Federal Express and explained the situation. They said, “We don’t have unmarked vehicles. All of ours are marked Federal Express. So that’s not one of ours.”Lloyd happened to go to Washington, to the Spy Museum, and on a wall was a series of pictures of what looked like a CIA swat team leaving a van to do a mission. It was a Federal Express van.So, back at the office, the white van eventually re-appeared across the street. They got the license plate and again, the cop friend said it’s Federal Express. So, Lloyd called them again and got the same lady. He told her that the van was back, but since it didn’t belong to them – right? – he said he was going to drag the driver out and call the police. The van never returned. Was the van using a Stingray, a device to download everything on your Wi-Fi, to capture data from the American Small Business League? Then Lloyd met a man who had flown with the Flying Tigers, which had been purchased by Federal Express. When Lloyd told him the white van story, the man said that all federal surveillance vehicles are registered to Federal Express. That makes sense. On secret missions, would CIA or FBI vehicles, if captured, want to be discovered as CIA or FBI vehicles? No. Better to be registered to Federal Express. Then the man said that FedEx is like an arm of the government, with a larger intelligence operation than most federal agencies. Bruce (co-host) mentioned that the Flying Tigers worked with or were part of the Office of Strategic Services, the forerunner of the CIA, and that Fred Smith, FedEx founder, was a member of Skull and Bones, the secret society at Yale University.“Not every member of Skull and Bones goes onto a career in intelligence or helps their friends in intelligence,” but it’s quite the coincidence, if that’s what it is.Lloyd confronted other “intimidators” and told more stories. In 2001, Lloyd exposed the fact that Fortune 500 firms were getting most of the contracts meant for small businesses.People don’t know that the Small Business Act of 1953 is the largest economic stimulus planned ever passed by Congress for the American people. It’s designed to create jobs and channel federal spending to the middle class. Two to three hundred billion dollars would go to small businesses, and they would create millions of new jobs, if they got the contracts to which they are entitled. Unfortunately, those contracts go to big businesses instead. The American Small Business League (www.ASBL.com) is working to end the diversion of federal small business contracts to big businesses. Our www.DontCheatWomen.com project seeks economic and political fairness for women.Raising to 15% the federal contract dollars that must go to women-owned small businesses is a great first step. ASBL 36 Lloyd Chapman Reveals a Big Pentagon Con
ASBL 36 Lloyd Chapman Reveals a Big Pentagon ConIn 1989, Lloyd Chapman began beating the Pentagon in court, exposing how it gives small business contracts to big businesses. In retaliation, the Pentagon launched the Comprehensive Subcontracting Plan Test Program, which hides its continuing malfeasance in the awarding of small business contracts.Lloyd describes all that and more in this fascinating conversation. For instance,The 1953 Small Business Act, which created the Small Business Administration (SBA), is the largest economic stimulus plan ever passed by Congress. It has been essentially repealed, in Lloyd’s opinion, by the Pentagon’s retaliation and other federal moves.“Decades and decades and decades of anti-small business policies” have diverted money away from small businesses and to big businesses, devastating the middle-class economy. The law says 23% of federal contracts must go to small businesses. 99.9% of all firms are small businesses. If the government complied with the law (which it doesn’t), 77% of federal contracts can go to the one-tenth of one percent of firms that are big businesses. Does that make sense? But it’s worse than that. Our legal victories, plus Congressional investigations and reports by the SBA’s Inspector General, have found that up to 97% of small business contracts go to big businesses.See the evidence at www.ASBL.com.See what you can do to empower the middle class economy at www.dontcheatwomen.com, our project to raise from 5% to 15% the amount of federal contracts that should go to women-owned small businesses.#americansmallbusinessleague #dontcheatwomen #smallbusinesscontracts #federalcontracting #womenownedsmallbusinesses

ASBL 35 Lloyd Chapman, ASBL Founder, is Censored on XLloyd Chapman, president and founder of the American Small Business League, discussed being censored since 2013 for exposing the diversion of small business contracts to big businesses. He used to be invited on all the major news shows. Congressmen would ask him to support their projects and legislation. Hundreds of stories used to be written about his work, often daily. All that changed in 2013. Our phones stopped ringing. A press release services told Lloyd they would no longer run his press releases. A global reputation management firm was found to be the perpetrator of Lloyd’s digital and communications blackout. From 2023 to 2024, Lloyd posts on X.com grew in popularity as he supported Robert F. Kennedy’s presidential campaign. But when Kennedy switched to supporting Donald Trump in August 2024, everything changed. Lloyd’s followers could no longer see his posts, and his views went from over a million to single digits. That’s nor organically possible with nearly 18,000 followers. Then, in early 2025, after his posts criticized many things about the new Trump administration, Lloyd started getting vicious attacks by fake accounts on X.Please see our www.DontCheatWomen.com project. We want Congress to raise the percentage of federal contract dollars that must go to women-owned small businesses from 5% to 15%.It’s not charity. Women sell what the government buys. Women own 40% of all businesses. But companies owned by men get at least 95% of federal contracts. Without economic fairness, women can’t be political equals.Men hold more political offices and have more political influence simply because they earn and save more than women. Please tell us what you think. 415-404-7733.Big businesses must stop getting federal small business contracts. The definition of a small business should be 100 or less employees, since 98% of all businesses have less than 100 employees. It should not be 500 or 1,000 or the 2,000-employee firms that get “small business” contracts. We must make Congress address these problems. Make our representatives work for us,” and amending the Constitution to 1) codify Congress’ authority to regulate elections, so it can establish spending limits in elections as it has in the past, 2) codify that corporations are not people; they do not have the rights, privileges, and protections that people have; and 3) codify that money is not speech. There is widespread support for this. “72% of Americans, Democrats and Republicans alike, want spending limits.” Candidates backed by corporate money (and by the major parties, who also get big money from corporations) cannot be competed with. Half of Illinois’ legislators faced no opponents in the primary nor in the general election of 2024. Kevin said, “Taking money out of politics is the first step toward getting competitive elections.”As Bruce de Torres, host, understood it, by getting big money and the parties out of the candidate-selection process, candidates who will actually work for the people will more easily get on the ballot. And we discussed small business issues, particularly the American Small Business League’s reasons for wanting to raise from 5% to 15% the federal contract dollars that must go to women-owned small businesses.Women are half the population. They own 40% of all businesses. But they get less than 5% of federal contract dollars. ASBL 24 – June 25, 2025, Aaron Hill, 2026 Candidate
ASBL 24 – June 25, 2025, Aaron Hill, 2026 CandidateAaron Hill is running for Congress as a Republican in Nevada’s 4th District.Aaron is “a decorated Marine Corps combat veteran and local business leader [with] a wide background of professional experience and project management success. The common thread throughout his life has been service to others and leading people to achieve success. … Aaron is ready to fight for the future that Nevada deserves.”From AaronHillForCongress.com, Elect Aaron Hill.Aaron has worked on many projects that have helped create jobs with local businesses as well as through the governor’s Office of Economic Development. He’s for smaller government and less taxes (to reduce the burden on families and small businesses). He feels that the incumbent, his presumed opponent, is out of touch with the needs of the people in the district. Families are struggling. Businesses are struggling. We discussed government budgeting (how departments and agencies often buy nonsensical things toward the end of a year to ensure they spend every penny of their budget so they can apply for a bigger budget for the next year). And we discussed the American Small Business League’s mission, which is to stop billions of dollars in federal contracts meant for small businesses from going to big businesses every year. Small businesses would create million of new jobs if they got those contracts (an economic boom). Big businesses don’t create jobs for those contracts because they are already big.The American Small Business League is the strongest voice in America (with the largest presence in the media and in federal courts) protecting the interests of America’s 34.7 million small businesses. Our 100+ legal victories (plus Congressional investigations and SBA Inspector General reports) have exposed rampant fraud in federal small business programs. ASBL 23 – June 9, 2025, Deddrick Wilmer, 2026 CandidateDeddrick Wilmer is running for Congress as a Republican in Texas’ 9th District. We discussed some of the things he plans to do (flood mitigation, power lines underground to ensure continuity of service during big weather events), the transparency and accountability he pledges to provide (and demand of the federal government), his message of inclusion (“bringing everyone together as one”), and the issue we hope he adopts (exposing the hundreds of billions of dollars in federal small business contracts that actually go to big businesses).“Deddrick T. Wilmer is a dedicated leader in real estate finance, a committed community advocate, and a proud compassionate conservative ready to champion the values that make America strong. With three decades of experience in the financial sector and a deep passion for public service, Deddrick is running … to bring bold, principled leadership to Washington.”He will “champion economic growth, lower taxes, protect constitutional rights, and advocate for a common-sense immigration policy … putting people first, restoring accountability to Washington, and ensuring every Texan has the opportunity to thrive.”Learn more at wilmerfortexas.com.The American Small Business League believes that the winning issue is the fact that women are 50% of the population and own 42% of all businesses – but firms owned by men have received over 95% of all federal contracts for decades.Elections are won and lost by 1% to 2% of the vote. Appealing to women and fair-minded voters with a common-sense way to significantly boost the small business economy is a winning campaign strategy.Giving women 25% of federal small business contracts (not the 5% they are supposed to get but don’t) would create 2 million new jobs every year (on top of the 2 million job that America typically creates each year). In other words, it would create a huge economic boom.Every year hundreds of billions of dollars in federal contracts meant for small businesses go to big businesses instead, and the SBA falsely claims that small businesses get those contracts. Small businesses would create two million new jobs if they got those contracts.
