    Are Probiotics Right for You?

Improving our immune system is on the top of many of our minds these days. When researching ways to boost the immune system I learned that a majority of what makes up the immune system is in the gut. This information led me to search out ways to improve gut health. On this journey I came across some information that suggested eating fermented foods daily for the probiotics. In this week's episode I am sharing what happened when I added this food to my diet and when this may not be a good idea. www.grownandvegan.com

    Being Single on Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day is typically a day for couples. Vegan vs Vegetarian

In the past when I considered or attempted to go without meat, I often wondered what happened to a vegetarian way of eating. It seemed that most information skipped past this way of eating and went full force into a vegan way of eating. Since I eventually went that direction as well, I wanted to understand what the difference was. And why one is or is not better. My search helped to draw a surprising or not so surprising conclusion.

    Why People Don't Go Vegan

I have wanted to have this conversation for a while. Since becoming a part of the Vegan Community I have recognized a few things that to be honest, cause me concern. My ultimate goal is not necessarily to convert everyone to become vegan. However, I do desire to remove barriers for people who desire to do so but hesitate. In this week's episode I am breaking down the three reasons I have discovered that keep people from going vegan.
