When we truly discover the Kingdom of God and our identity in Christ we should also see that God desires to have a close relationship with us. Knowledge alone cannot save or develop us, but an intimate relationship with Christ is just as important. In John 10, Jesus declares himself to be the shepherd of His sheep and paints the picture of a God who longs for us to know His personal voice. The apostle Paul, in answering the question of whether we should continue to live in sin because God's grace covers us, responds: "of course not!” Christians can, and do fall into sin; but as Paul tells us, we should not be 'enslaved' to it. So how do we experience this freedom from sin practically in our day to day lives and get rid of our old habits? Join us for the second of our 3 part series this week as Phil Shaw opens the word of God and encourages us to die to our "old self" and live free in Christ!

Step away from a life centred on self-care and return to the transforming power of God’s Word. This message calls believers to actively pursue Scripture, not passively neglect it. The sermon challenges listeners to reject self-made ideas of God, embrace repentance, and recognise Christ’s kingdom as present now, calling for true surrender, sacrifice, and transformed lives through the Holy Spirit.

An exploration of John 1:1–14, revealing Jesus as the eternal Word, Creator, and source of life and light. This sermon unpacks deep truths about the nature of God, the incarnation, and the call to respond through repentance, belief, and receiving Christ. It also challenges believers to live as witnesses like John the Baptist—reflecting Jesus, who is full of grace and truth, and preparing the way for others to encounter Him.

On Mother’s Day, several women from the church share personal testimonies and biblical reflections on motherhood, faith, and spiritual family. Through scripture and life experiences, they highlight the power of prayer, the influence of a mother’s love, and the importance of nurturing faith and guiding the next generation in God’s truth.

When life’s storms rage and God seems distant, remember: Jesus still shows up. This message encourages believers who faithfully serve God while facing deep personal challenges. Through Scripture and powerful biblical examples, discover how Christ meets us in our darkest moments, calms our storms, and brings hope to impossible situations. Don’t give up—keep trusting, praying, and calling on Him. Your breakthrough may be closer than you think.

Jesus’ wilderness temptation shows how Lent is a season of testing, trust, and growth. Though hungry, pressured to prove himself, and offered power without sacrifice, Jesus remained obedient to God’s word. His example teaches believers to resist shortcuts, pride, and self-reliance. Lent invites reflection, deeper dependence on God, humble worship, and faithful obedience, trusting His timing and choosing righteousness over comfort or worldly success.

Exodus reveals salvation as a journey from slavery to freedom, where God delivers His people by grace, not their own effort. Just as Israel was freed from Egypt, believers are freed from sin through Christ and called into a lifelong process of transformation. Faith in God, not works, brings redemption, while obedience, reliance on His Word, and the Holy Spirit sustain growth, strengthen believers, and lead them into lasting freedom, holiness, and deeper relationship with Him.

This sermon explains that although the spiritual realm is unseen, it shapes our lives and faith. Believers face a daily battle between flesh and Spirit, but victory comes through dependence on the Holy Spirit. Drawing from the Book of Isaiah 58, it teaches that fasting is an act of humility and surrender that strengthens faith, aligns us with God’s will, and produces compassion, obedience, and spiritual renewal.

Jesus said if we seek Him, we will find Him. God has given us an open invitation to come to Him. But He often allows us to go through seasons that will provoke a desire in our hearts to seek Him and be filled by what He offers and not what the world offers. In this message, Pastor Julian Mabey challenges us to seek God in this season as we birth what He wants to do in our lives both individually and corporately as a church.

Peter Cavanna exhorts all prodigals, all of those who have wandered away, to come back into the Father’s house. He reminds us that sometimes we may think and act like the lost son. Equally, there may be times when we see traits of the older brother in us as well. This message, based on Luke 15:11–32, powerfully encourages us and stirs us to change.

In James 1:12, we are encouraged to not fill up our spirits with wickedness, filthiness, or any other sinful traits. For that reason, Pastor Julian is exhorting us in this message to stay deeply rooted in the word of God, make room for the good seed in our hearts, and prepare ourselves to receive it. This is essential to our spiritual growth and daily sustenance.

During the last supper with His disciples, Jesus instituted the new covenant and gave a commandment for us to take communion as often as we can, in remembrance of Him. In this communion service, Pastor Julian reminds us of the significance of the last supper and shares with us what the new covenant is and how we can walk in the realisation of the better promises upon which it is established.

The baptism of the Holy Spirit is a foundational truth in the Word of God. This was expressed in the life of Jesus when He got water baptised and the Holy Spirit descended on Him like a dove after He came out of the water, launching Him into a ministry of miracles, signs and wonders. As we celebrate Pentecost Sunday, we are encouraged to follow the example of Jesus by being baptised in the Holy Spirit so we can carry on the ministry that He began.

Any attempt to please God in our own strength or in our own way is very laborious and cannot produce a lasting fruit. In fact, our righteousness is like filthy rags before God. In his sermon, Pastor Julian Mabey shares with us the provisions that God has made for us through Jesus Christ to serve Him efficiently without having to rely on our own strength.

Like in Genesis 1:1–2, the Spirit of God is hovering over our lives and His church and is waiting to spring into action in conjunction with the word of God. But if we do not have a desire and passion for Him to fill us and enable us to be involved in what He is doing, we will just become relics and walk in compromise. In Acts 28, the islanders in Malta kindly received Paul and the other travellers who were with him, even though they were all strangers to them. In his message, our guest minister, Peter Cavanna, highlights some valuable lessons from this account on how the church can be kind and hospitable to people that walk through our doors, regardless of how different they are from us.

Luke 24 gives an account of how Jesus walked with two disciples who were on their way to Emmaus, and they did not recognise Him. Why could they not recognise Him? How is it that God can be so close to us, yet we cannot see Him? In this message, our guest speaker, Peter Cavanna, expands on this account and shares some insights on how God could be in our blind spots sometimes.

When God created Adam, He breathed into him the breath of life to enable him to live and carry out his assignment in the garden of Eden. Similarly, as Christians, God has made provisions in the person of the Holy Spirit to empower us to live a fruitful life on earth. We are not meant to live according to our own abilities. Join us in this message as Dhanga Mhango shares with us what the role of the Holy Spirit is for us as Christians and how we can take advantage of His ministry in our lives.

When we hear the gospel message, we can choose to either embrace it or keep God at arm's length. The reality is that no matter how clearly the message is communicated, some will reject God while others will accept Him. This is apparent in the account of God’s chosen people, Israel, who rejected Him numerous times in spite of all He did for them and through them. In his sermon, Emmanuel Donor encourages us to obey God and allow Him to reign in our lives at all times.

Before his death, Jesus prepared the disciples by telling them he would die and rise again on the third day. However, when he died, the disciples lived in fear and in such a way that showed they seemingly had forgotten what Jesus told them. In this Easter sermon, Jean-Louis expands on the story of the resurrection of Jesus and encourages us to live a life of faith by constantly looking to Jesus and believing in what He says to us in spite of the circumstances.

Often we say that God has the highest priority in our lives, but the time we spend with Him is very little compared to the time we spend at work, with our families or on entertainment. Could it be that we have got our priorities wrong as they say actions speak louder than words? Gerry Beeves challenges us in this sermon to re-examine our priorities and put our relationship with God above all other things in our lives.

There are seasons in our Christian walk that God will take us into some kind of wilderness for a purpose that He has prescribed for our lives. As seen in several examples in the bible, wilderness seasons are not forever and are not meant to destroy us. Join us in this message as our guest minister, Julian Mabey, encourages us to embrace wilderness as seasons when God teaches us things and carries out His specific purpose of preparing us for what is coming next.

Disappointments do occur in life and are sometimes due to unmet expectations or fallout from our own past choices or decisions that other people make on our behalf. In his message, Jean-Louis draws an example from the story of Nehemiah to show us how the human heart naturally reacts to unfavourable outcomes and how we should instead strive to adopt a godly response in dealing with disappointments.

When he was in chains in a prison, Paul said in Philippians 3:14 that he was “pressing on.” How was he able to press on while being under restriction and chained to a wall? What did he really mean by pressing on? Join us in this sermon as Peter Cavanna sheds light on what it means to press on and how it applies to our walk with God.

Lots of people talk about christianity as if it is a pie in the sky when you die. Some say it is a hard thing to be a Christian, but you can get through, just keep going, and eventually your reward is in heaven and it awaits you. This is true, but it is not the whole picture that Jesus wants us to take. Jesus said that he has come to give us life abundantly, and not just to scrape through. Join us in this sermon as Gerry Beeves inspires us to realise how wonderful and blessed it is to be a Christian.

Many of us are going through challenges today and do not fully realise yet that God is with us and He is able to lead us into victory. We may not know how or when, but like Jesus brought Lazarus back to life in John 11, God is able to resurrect any ‘dead’ situations in our lives if we can trust in Him. According to 1 Peter 2:9, God’s calling upon our lives affects our generation and is not limited to us as individuals. However, our day to day activities, which include juggling with various responsibilities and managing the challenges that come with them, have occupied our time and energy so much more that we are comfortable with getting by, not to speak of affecting our generation. In this sermon, Dhanga Mhango shares with us how to operate effectively in our calling as a priest to our generation.

As Christians, we have ample examples in the book of Acts and in Paul’s epistles of how the church, despite its imperfections, can still effectively fulfil its mandate of carrying and expanding the kingdom of God on earth. In this message, we take a look at the Philippian church and learn how we can draw from them a blueprint for our effectiveness and relevance in today’s post-modern society.

In Daniel 3, we read about the three devout Hebrew boys that were thrown into the fiery furnace for standing for God and refusing to bow down to the image and idols that everyone else was worshipping in Babylon. Our guest speaker, Peter Cavanna, shares with us how this story is still very much relevant to our lives today and the lessons we can learn from it, as we live in a culture that is different and frequently averse to the Christian way.

The role of the shepherd is very important to the welfare of the sheep. It is known that the shepherd walks the path first before taking the sheep on a journey, especially in unfamiliar territory. He creates a bridge for the sheep to cross a river. He navigates the path for the sheep to avoid dangerous areas. In his sermon, our guest minister, Julian Mabey shares with us the truth that Jesus is our Shepherd and He makes a way for us where there seems to be no way.

As we begin to journey through 2023, it is important that we stay the course. This is what God wants from us. The church, both global and local, as well as individual christians are in one of the most challenging times. However, God has made a provision for us to overcome by seeking His face. Join us in this sermon as we explore the need for us as children of God to embrace a lifestyle of prayer.

Quite often, when we pray to God, our prayer consists mostly of the things we want Him to do for us. We should however remember what God has done for us and approach Him with a heart of gratitude. In his letter to the church at Philippi, the Apostle Paul encourages them to display the same humility, servant heart, and unity as Christ did so that the world would see Jesus through them. The mandate to the church is still the same today - we are to conduct ourselves in a manner that clearly reflects Christ so that our message will have full impact. Jean-Louis brings a timely reminder that in spite of what is going on around us, we are to be a church that mirrors Christ in all we do. Listen now!
