Methods of Healing vs the Magic of Healing: Shamans Cave

Renee and Sandra take on a very potent topic about healing. Many shamanic practitioners today are stuck in the illusion that it is the methods of healing that people turn to shamanism today. But in reality, methods have never healed anyone. Shamans have used “methods” as a way to demonstrate that she/he is performing a healing. But the true work that creates the healing is the energetic forces swirling around the client. When the shamanic practitioner creates sacred space, sings, dances, and prepares to be the hollow bone for the helping spirits that is when the most potent part of the work happens. To learn more about this powerful topic join Renee Baribeau and Sandra Ingerman in this fascinating show Shamanstv.com.Support the show

Horizontal and Vertical Growing: Shamans Cave

In nature we have trees that who feed so many beings – humans, birds, insects, all that lives on the earth and air. And from a shamanic point of view these trees feel honored when we eat and feel nurtured from their fruits. But of course, then comes a cycle of regeneration of the silent process of going within to regenerate and become nourished again to have the strength tobloom in the spring and summer. This the most basic explanation of the cycle of life of the times when we grow horizontally and have the energy to give to others then shift into a time when we need to go within to our inner world to put our roots deep into the earth to draw up nurturance and raise our branches to the sky to draw down regenerative energy from the divine worlds.Join Sandra Ingerman and Renee Baribeau as they speak about this important topic and inspire you to look at how to balance your cycles so you are living in a way where you feel fully nurtured before you offer help to others and the planet.Support the show

Leaving Gossip Behind and Celebrating Successes: Shamans Cave

It is true it is up to our communities to let people know when there are unethical teachers who are hurting others instead of truly teaching ethically from a place where they have done a lot of personal work to tame and transmute their shadow. When we can do this we end up creating unity which is so needed today. Meeting People for Who They Are: Shamans Cave

Renee Baribeau had a profound experience that inspired this episode. We encounter countless people each day, moving through life at such a rapid pace that it becomes difficult to pause and engage in true heart-to-heart exchanges. Too often, we place labels on others—calling them ignorant, lazy, or mentally ill—without ever stopping to connect with them on a human level. But when we take the time to engage authentically, we tap into a deep well of truth, empathy, and shared humanity. Viewing others as archetypes or one-dimensional characters distances us, reducing them to mere figures in a virtual game, void of connection. In this episode, we explore what it means to truly see and honor the people we cross paths with, from a place of compassion and openness. Life is about connection. We came here to connect with people and all of nature. So if connection is what we truly crave it is time to start treating people as individuals who we can connect with in beautiful ways to open to the vastness of unique beings who all came to share something quite unique when they chose to be incarnated into this lifetime. Meeting people outside of the labels we give them creates a more enriching life for all of us.Join Renee and Sandra Ingerman as they reflect on this powerful topic!Support the show

ABOUT THIS SHOW

Shamans Sandra Ingerman and Renee Baribeau have found that they enjoy speaking to each other and sharing inspiration and healing stories to keep us focused on our spiritual practice during this turbulent time on the planet. The Shamans Cave is a dedicated circle of shamanic practitioners who desire to contribute their unique gifts in behalf of all of life! This is a time to share strong ceremonial work and shamanic practices in our local communities. Shamanism is a practice that was tribal. All community members needed to be strong and filled with power so that the entire community benefited. Each person had an important role in sharing their individual gifts and talents so the entire community remains in harmony and in health.
