156 - Am I Happy?

from Assertive Radiance

Three words, eight letters, one question: "Am I happy?"A single question indeed, but potent enough to change your life. In this episode, Nadia takes us back into Jasmine's world and her quest for a happy and meaningful life.Jasmine doesn't have it easy. Life can be unkind and cruel regardless of one's status in life. You may have all the money in the world or be offered the greatest job and still feel unhappy inside. In this story, we see in Jasmine how sometimes success does not equate with happiness. And so, for almost 40 years, Jasmine lived her life on autopilot. For the longest time, she believed that she was living a happy and fulfilling life. She did not know it then, but her heart knew well, that it was all pretense — a disguise. After all, it was way easier to ignore the mess, rather than deal with it.But at the end of the day, Nadia reminds us that escaping is not the same as solving it. There is no other way around it, but to face it head-on. Nadia once said that no growth or change was ever easy. But then again, there's no such thing as an overnight success.Ultimately, Nadia tells us that life is what you choose to make of it. You have the power to take control of your life. It may be a tough and challenging road ahead, but Nadia's been with us since the beginning: guiding us, inspiring us, and helping us every step of the way towards achieving our own blissful and fulfilling life.Jasmine is still a work in progress. But aren't we all? So how about you? Are you happy?
