183 - What's a False Belief?
Fifteen years ago, in a moment of inspiration, I thought, what if I could create a world-class skincare brand from the ground up? The idea germinated for a while. Then 11 years ago, I left the corporate world, rolled up my sleeves, and gave birth to Avesence skincare without realizing all the struggle it would lead me into. At the time, I assumed I would be financially successful very quickly, but God had other plans for me. To get HIS message, I had to undo many false beliefs and learn to appreciate each and every step of the journey. The whole experience led me to discover many life secrets, which I'm sharing with you, with the hope that it will inspire you to live your life to the fullest. Hello and welcome to Assertive Radiance. I am your host, Nadia Fleury. And today's episode: "What's a false belief?"Thank you so much for tuning in. I so appreciate that you are here today. We are going to talk about what is a false belief and why it matters in the first place. The reason why it's important to know about your false belief is because, well, life is full of turbulence. You can never predict what's going to happen next. The better equipped you are, meaning more aware, the less affected you will be. And so this show today will explain what a false belief is and why it's important for you to know or to notice the problem that it will cause around you. And third, I'm going to also share how to overcome it. A false belief is something that is not true but that you believe it is.Most of the time, we swim in it so much that we don't even realize we are in it, just like a fish. If you try to explain the fish that is swimming in water, it will not understand what you're talking about. For him, it's normal. The point of this talk is not to eradicate every false belief there is on this planet that would take me the rest of my life without achieving anything constructive. The idea is to bring awareness in your life to see how it affects you because, at the end of the day, we only have so much amount of hours in a day and so much amount of energy. And the whole concept of false belief. What it does is when you don't realize that it's in your programming, it can weigh you down. And that is the reason why I'm bringing this up, because if you don't have a false belief that is bothering you, then you can soar, you can fly high, you can do your thing. You don't feel like you're always distracted with something. And false belief starts when either I pick up an idea and assume that it's true or someone feeds me information. In this case, it happened years ago when the time when I was married, my mother-in-law, who is from the UK, shared her contempt for Indian men who walk ten feet in front of their wives. And when she told me that story, she was really not happy because, as far as she was concerned, she felt that Indian men were not respecting women. But that was her belief, not mine. However, at the time that she mentioned it to me, I knew nothing of this whole world of belief. So, the story was somewhere embedded in my mind, and I completely forgot about it. Then a few months ago, I was waiting at a red light and while I was waiting in my car for the first time, I witness what she was talking about. There was an Indian man, perhaps in his late seventies, walking with a stick ten feet in front of his wife. The man looked frail; almost unsafe for him to walk alone. I thought that if he had been more considerate towards his wife, she could have been there by his side for support. But too bad for him that he chose this cultural habit over his well-being.Notice here how my mind went into judgment, which was contempt for the habit because it's how I received the information while I was unconscious. Then the red light changed into green. And I drove away. But I brought negative thoughts with me. I kept wondering why Indian men behave like that? And suddenly, I felt a whisper from within. What if what my mother-in-law said wasn't true? What if the habit is actually a means for Indian men to honor their wives by blessing the path their wives walk on? I will never know the true story. And bear in mind that the real purpose of this talk is not about knowing the truth about Indian culture. It's about how I feel inside. I didn't feel good inside when my mind was swimming in judgment, but when I saw a different perspective, my heart swelled with love and admiration for the Indian man who was willing to fight lions and tigers regardless of how feeble he was to make sure his wife would be safe wherever she went.As I mentioned earlier, the point of living is having the energy to do what we love most. Letting our minds drown with false beliefs by bringing judgment inside our hearts lowers our energy vibration. Our energy is everything because we can't accomplish anything without it. Our thoughts can get us frustrated or angry or bring us joy, depending on how we relate to the information we receive. What I did in the car was to bring discernment. I gave myself space to think that there might be other explanations I was unaware of. The experience made me realize that our well-being is affected by what we bring inward, not just what we take in terms of nourishment but also what we choose to dwell upon. The only thing we can control is our state of mind, and if we desire to be happy, we must shield our thoughts the same way we safeguard our precious possessions.Happiness is an inside job. Nothing or nobody can make you feel happy inside but yourself. So, if you don't like something in your life or always feel frustrated or angry, I invite you to reflect upon what you bring inward. The main question here is, why do we keep struggling with life? Because most of the time, our false beliefs are unconscious. We swim in it without knowing any better and don't realize why we feel suppressed or oppressed. Imagine you were told at one point in time that you were not good enough and you've been living most of your life without questioning if it's true or not. Remember, the subconscious mind is not equipped to discern. So, if you state that the belief is true, your mind will make sure it is true until you change it.It also explains why so many of us are stuck. You may have written your goals and objectives on nice paper, yet never seem to live your dream life. And that's because we cannot rise beyond our unconscious limitations. When our soul is obstructed with false beliefs, it acts like a dark cloud suppressing our ability to see the truth. We can't see, hence why we lack clarity in what we want in life.We don't know who we are or our true talents and abilities. Gradually, we lose touch with our intuitions. It starts when we are young. At school, we get conditioned to believe that our self-worth resides in our grades. The elite must have felt ahead of the game until their minds got caught up in the competitive mindsets. However, for most of us, when we saw red marks all over our exam papers, we felt degraded. This programming follows us at work when we wait for our boss to decide whether we deserve a pay raise. I don't know about you, but when I worked in the corporate world, my yearly review was when my boss told me the 1% I did wrong. I was unconscious then and didn't realize that brooding over the unfairness stripped me of my powers. I took the lie into my soul without realizing how much damage I caused to my "self." My powers reside in my energy, so anything that zapped my energy strips me from my powers. In conclusion, if you have put your dreams on a back burner and can't master the energy to get going, I invite you to sit with your thoughts and see what's underneath. Remember, the more you know yourself, the better equipped you are to face adversity. I hope that this episode was insightful. If you feel it can help a friend, please share it. Please stay safe and healthy, and let's chat next month. Have a fabulous day.

182 - A New Beginning
Fifteen years ago, in a moment of inspiration, I thought: "What if I could create a world-class skincare brand from the ground up." The idea germinated for a while. Then, eleven years ago, I left the corporate world, rolled up my sleeves, and gave birth to Avesence without realizing all the struggle it would lead me into.At the time, I assumed I would be financially successful very quickly, but God had other plans for me. To get HIS message, I had to undo many false beliefs and learn to appreciate each and every step of the journey. The whole experience led me to discover many life secrets, which is what I'm going to share with you. __________________Today, since the show is about "a new beginning," I want to reintroduce myself. I know I've previously mentioned that I'm an entrepreneur; I created a skincare brand, I'm a mother, and I was married for 19 years and then divorced. But what if I removed all these labels? What if I'm no longer a mother, a friend, a sister, an ex-wife, a podcaster? Who am I, then?My aha moment came when I contracted Covid last August. For as long as I can remember, I was always on the go, doing something. I either work, read, think, cook, walk, garden, or clean. For eight days, Covid obliged me to be still—as I had no energy to get up. Finding myself without energy helped me realize how much our energy matters. On the fifth day, I couldn't sleep because my body was aching from being too long in bed. As I tossed and turned, I started to think of all the people who were severely sick with Covid and were hospitalized for months. Then I thought about the people who didn't make it.Then my mind shifted toward all the people who struggle with an illness and are not sure if they will fully recover. Then I thought of Steve Jobs. From an American society's perspective, Jobs was admired by many and was labeled as a successful, wealthy innovator. But how did he feel the last few months, lying in a hospital bed, knowing his time was almost up? He could have all the wealth in the world, but he couldn't delegate his sickness to anyone. Did any of his labels matter at that point? Then I fell into some kind of twilight zone, and something profound arose from within. I started to see the labels I had identified myself with. As I detached myself from them, I could feel the dept of consciousness tickling my soul. But this was just the beginning. At one point, I saw myself half inside a huge bubble and the other outside. The part that was outside felt free, but the part that was inside was scared. The best way I can explain this is by sharing this story.Imagine when we are born; we are pure love and light, which is our consciousness. Then as we grow up, we are told stuff. Some words or events are encouraging and kind, others hurtful. And as a defense mechanism, the mind finds ways to cope with unpleasant lessons by putting a little strip of plaster and bandages around the soul. We gradually mummify our souls to a point where we no longer see who we truly are. We see ourselves through society's labels and roles. For example, when we visit a doctor, a person will be labeled as a physician while I'm labeled "the patient" because I have to wait a long time. Society dictates that we must be OK with that.I realized that when our being is wrapped around in labels, we turn into zombie-like humans. We function on autopilot and will do and behave according to the mind programming dictated by our environment.A mummified soul cannot see the light and will feel disconnected from Source, leading to a lack of clarity. When we can't see, what do we do? We tread carefully. We play safe. After many years of doing the same things, we lose touch with our intuitions. Every discomfort, stress, anxiety, worry, and body pain indicate something is wrong, and we need to coast correct. But the mind and the environment are so accustomed to all the labels we have created that we don't want to make any changes. That's when you hear people say: "You don't understand; I have no choice. I must keep doing this or lose my job, status, etc." Before I go further, I must add. It took me months to process what I'm sharing, and I'm still unraveling new information. It's the main reason why I postpone releasing any episode. I had to remove the label that I'm a podcaster and be willing to lose fans along the way. Second, it's pretty painful to go through label removal. Now, I know what you're going to say. If it's so painful, why bother removing the labels?Because that's when you get to experience what freedom truly is. Labels keep you in bondage, in the dark, and fear. They prevent you from moving about freely, which limits your energy flow. My greatest realization is this. The only way to live an authentic life is by letting go of all that is inauthentic within and around us. And the first step to achieving that is by removing any labels. That's when the light of your soul can suddenly breathe through you. And when that happens, it's like being born again; you become alive and abundant with joy, love, and creativity. This concludes today's episode. If you enjoyed the show, please share it. I'm not sure when I will release the next episode, perhaps next week or next month. Until then, stay safe and healthy, and have a fabulous day!

179 - The Magic Path of Intuition
I’ve got to say, I’m fascinated by the art of living. As a teenager, I assumed that the purpose of living was to accumulate money, but now I see things from a different perspective. There’s a difference between wealth and money. Money per se is simply a tool to facilitate a transaction. Wealth is more about knowledge. A wealthy person has acquired the ability to get whatever he or she wants in life without violating the rights of others. It’s like having rich soil with the right nutrient for perfect growth.Life is about accessing that place called abundance. Abundance in things and in happiness too. If you want to experience more happiness and live a happy, rich life but feel stuck, I invite you to take the Quiz: What’s Your #1 Unconscious Roadblock that keeps you stuck. Today I will continue sharing Florence Scovel Shinn’s wisdom taken from her book: “The Magic Path of Intuition” where she explains the 4 steps to access all that you desire in life:Speaks the words: Your words act as a magic wand. Follow your hunches or intuitions: They come in the form of flashes of images aimed to reveal what’s your best next step.Dig your ditches: Take action to prove that you have faith.Give infinite intelligence the right of way: When you want something and have exhausted any known ways to get it, give it to the universe to deal with it.

171 - How to Cope with Anxiety
A few weeks ago, I received an email from a young gal who wasseeking advice on “How to cope with anxiety.” And I thought my answer might be beneficial for you too. In this episode, I’m going to share her message and my response. Bear in mind that I changed her identity for privacy.Hi, I’m writing to you because I’m seeking advice on how to cope with anxiety. My name is Paprika, I’m in my 30s, married with a 9-year-old daughter, and I feel stressed, overwhelmed, and exhausted. I’m not happy with my life as it seems that no matter what I do, it’s never right. I’m super anxious when I’m at work, especially around my boss, who owns the company. Every time I see him, I dread he’s going to fire me.The other day, I made a mistake and invoiced the wrong amount to a client, and my boss yielded to me in front of everybody else. I was so embarrassed. He said: “For the price I pay you, that’s all you do make mistakes! I’m starting to wonder why you are on my payroll.” The thing is, my boss is known to flare up at the slightest bad news. I’m not singled out in his treatment; he talks to everyone else the same way, but I don’t like how I feel when it happens. The morale is low; everybody walks on eggshells. The work in itself is OK, and I get along fine with my co-workers. But it seems the more I dread, the more mistakes I make. Please don’t tell me to quit my job because I need the money to pay my bills. When I come home, I feel so tired, which makes me clumsy and forgetful. Again, my spouse yells at me every time I make a mistake. They are silly mistakes, like the other day, I forgot to pay one bill on time. Another time, I burned the dinner by accident. Whenever my spouse finds out, I made a mistake, he screams and calls me names, which I don’t like when he does that, especially in front of our daughter. The thing is that he is right; I’m forgetful and don’t pay attention. For the life of me, I seem not to know how to do anything right anymore.Last night, I lay awake in my bed, and I started questioning my own existence. I realized that Idon’t like myself. I’m overweight, constantly tired, and absolutely unhappy. My anxiety is stopping me from doing anything fun. I don’t go anywhere except to work and do the groceries. I’m now wondering, am I on this earth to be yelled at left and right? I know you talk a lot about choices in your podcasts, but I wonder, what choices do I have? To leave my job and my spouse? We are already struggling financially as a couple, so the idea of being on my own frightens me to no end. The one thing that keeps me going is my daughter. Any insights that can help me cope with the situation I’m in would be greatlyappreciated. Thank you!_________________Dear Paprika,First, I want to commend you for acknowledging that something is not right in your life. It’s easy to pretend all is well. The fact that you are reaching out for support is a huge step towards taking responsibility for your own happiness. I congratulate you on that! There are many things you can do to shift the energy around without leaving your job and your spouse. Now, before I go into the detail, only you can tell if your spouse’s shortcomings are caused by his own stress, which sometimes happens when money is tight. Or is he crossing the line and fall into the mental abuse category? If you are dealing with spousal abuse, I will encourage you to seek further help as this is not my arena of expertise. When reading your letter, the first thing that comes to mind is that what’s happening at home and work are linked to the same root cause. I would invite you to readjust your healthy boundaries. Sometimes we are taught to be tolerant with others until it takes a toll on our health. From what you’ve written, the anxiety you are experiencing is the body’s way to tell you something is not in alignment. Before anyone can respect you, you’ve got to respect yourself. And that starts with healthy boundaries. You know in your heart what is acceptable and what is not. Tolerating what is not will take a toll on your mental health as well as your physical body. Often, especially when we are in it, we don’t realize we accept and take personally other people’s shortcomings. Of course, I’m aware that it’s easier said than done. One of the ways you could respond, especially to your spouse, would be to simply look at him with a smile and say: “Well, thank you for sharing your opinion.” But then be firm. Make yourself understood that you do not need to hear any more on the subject. If he keeps going on at you, be firm and stop him: “Honey, Thank you! Enough. Stop!If you dread even asking your spouse to stop, I would invite you to ask deep questions about why you let others speak to you in a way that hurts your feelings. Then pen the answers down in a personal journal. Go deep and as far as you can in your childhood. See if you are repeating the same dynamic as your parents. Or ask when did it all start? What would you like instead? Sometimes, because we live with disempowering behaviors for so long, we take dysfunction as being normal. The fact that your body is sending stressed signals tells you that something is not normal. Here is another suggestion that applies to your spouse. Pick a moment when the two of you are alone and share the stressful situation you are in at work and ask for his support. Explain that when you come home, you are exhausted from work and that it hurts your feeling when he goes on and on about your mistakes. Also, if you are tired after work and, let’s say 90% of the time, you are the one who cooks. Delegate the task for your spouse to cook. A well-balanced couple means both should shares responsibilities. “Hey, Honey, can you take care of dinner tonight? I’m exhausted. Or, hey Honey, how about we make dinner together?Your spouse may not realize that he’s “hard on you emotionally.”Some people feel that they are doing you a favor by critiquing your doings. It could be their “love language” when they were a child. Remember that many of us have been conditioned, from childhood, to fear making mistakes. Some may have been brutally punished when they made a mistake while they were small. As we grow up, some of us will realize that making mistakes is part of living, while others, they fear it, is actually visceral. For them, the fear is so great; all they do is focus on everybody else’s mistake. They do that as a coping mechanism judging themselves by feeling better when someone does worse in their mind. If this is the case with your spouse, you’ve got to give back to him what belongs to him. What I’m saying here is that you’ve got to create healthy boundaries. You are not responsible for anyone else’s feelings but your own. Nor do you deserve to be punished every time something happens that didn’t turn out the way it was expected. When we care, we may internalize other people’s feelings, body language, or their shortcomings to our detriment. The trouble is that we can’t control others. In doing so, it leads to anxiety. Remember that anxiety, although unpleasant, is a form of communication. Your body is telling you that what is happening around you is not suitable for you.Anxiety is fear in disguise. As you worry, your mind keeps dwelling on worst-case scenarios. These thoughts put you in a never-ending cycle of painful emotions, which prevents you from focusing on the good things you do or the good things you could be doing instead. Since what you focus on expands, fretting over future mistakes puts your mind out of control. Nobody can think straight when out of control, hence why you are experiencing more mistakes or become forgetful as the day goes by.It takes effort to cope with life’s demands. And effort takes energy. When most of your energy is spent on worry, you no longer have any capacity to deal with any important matter at hand. Therefore, it is no wonder why you feel overwhelmed and exhausted. On top of not having the energy to exercise, in a state of stress, you might be more inclined to eat not-so-healthy “comfort food,” which over time may add to your excess weight. We need the energy to live, think, and do things. Every living thing carries within itself energy. How the energy is used creates different chemical reactions. We are all intertwined in the same ecosystem of energy exchange and chemical reactions. Anxiety, fear as well as love release in your body different kinds of chemical reactions.Think for a moment. How do you feel when your daughter shares with you a picture she draws of both of you playing at the park? You feel warm and fuzzy inside. Her actions fill your heart with something that feels wonderful. That feeling is love. On the opposite end, how do you feel when your boss speaks unkindly to you or one of your co-workers? Suddenly, the mood seems to congeal because negative energy lowers the energy vibration. That’s why we say the atmosphere turned icy. From these two examples, you can tell that energy can either be negative or positive, depending on what is done and how you take it. I’m sharing these details because it’s important to understand that although invisible to the naked eye, the energy we carry has a way to impregnates itself on other people. One negative person has the power to...

169 - How to deal with low self-worth?
In this episode, Nadia shares her correspondence that transpired not too long ago from one of our dearest listeners, named Blanca. In the said letter, Blanca writes to Nadia asking for guidance or advice regarding her predicament about dealing with low self-worth. As a response, Nadia replies to Blanca, expressing her insight into dealing with low self-worth and eventually turning a bitter experience into fruitful and unconditional self-love. According to Nadia, trouble usually arises when you try to suppress your feelings. And so, the first step in recovery would be to forgive yourself. Once you let go of all the negative energy, you find goodness starting to flow within you. And one way to release all the negativities is through nature. Indeed, Nadia firmly believes that nature has a way to heal your soul because Mother Nature nurtures the mind, body, and soul. Further, Nadia illustrates how to deal with unkind opinions and hurtful words directed at you. She shares a clever trick to help you see the illusion from the truth and thus protect you from further worries and unnecessary stress. But Nadia explains that the universe sends people into our lives to help us see who we really are and help us grow. Sometimes, it's the adversity that makes us grow stronger and wiser because life's greatest lessons are taught through pain. To end, be reminded that "Your value doesn't decrease based on someone's inability to see your worth." So be patient and trust the process. Because the moment you finally realize your true worth, you wouldn't need anyone else to confirm it. As such, pure bliss and unconditional self-love await.

168 - How to receive what you desire?
Kao Feng once asked, “The whole world is a fire pit. With what state of mind can you avoid being burned?” Likewise, Nadia illustrates how the quality of your life is greatly influenced by the quality of your thoughts. In reality, none of us has it easy. Deep down, we are scarred with flaws and imperfections. And that’s okay; it’s part of being human, after all. But despite our past fears and awful experiences, Nadia is saying that we have the choice to refuse these horrible circumstances to dictate the purpose and meaning of our lives. And in this episode, Nadia reveals to us the key relationship between courage, success, and state of mind. And as Nadia shares her own story, we realize that it was not luck that brought her out of misery. Instead, it was her indomitable self-control, choice, and consistent effort to take the road less traveled that made all the difference in her life. In the end, it was Nadia who made it possible to receive the desire that she deserves. Finally, Nadia reminds us to exercise our capacity to choose our dreams and goals despite the temptations and lure of mediocrity. As Viktor Frankl once said, “Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms — to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.” So keep going, and pursue the good life with diligence and ardent passion regardless of what anyone says. Remember, you have the power to turn your desire into a reality.

167 - Are you ready to receive?
Last week Nadia explained her views as to why so many people find it challenging to receive. In this episode, Nadia ties last week’s insights with a story of transformation from a life of pain and woes toward a life of love, abundance, and happiness. According to Nadia, receiving is just as important as giving. And she illustrates this by narrating how she experienced firsthand the series of conflicts and misunderstandings that happened before realizing that a giver cannot give to someone who does not wish to receive. As Nadia overcomes her predicament, she gains valuable insight into empathizing with people more profoundly. Because when you open your heart to receiving, you become more aware, understanding, and loving to yourself and the people around you. As a result, you create a healthy and strong relationship with yourself and others. Finally, Nadia reminds us to have the patience to go through the process. You’d be amazed how a simple change in perception can make the biggest difference in your life.

166 - Why it is so challenging to receive?
Too many incredible and kind nurturers out there tend to pride themselves on giving and find it challenging to receive. In this episode, Nadia shares her views on why so many deserving souls have missed an essential part of life which is the art of receiving.Nadia blends her experiences and observations with three laws of nature:1. You reap what you sow.2. That you want it or not, everything is constantly changing, and therefore, the only thing you can truly control is your thoughts.3. What you focus on expands.

165 - How to break free from mental exhaustion
Please Note: This audio contains themes that some listeners may find disturbing. Listener discretion is advised.A wise thinker once said, “A healthy soul dwells within a healthy mind and a healthy body.” And in this episode, Nadia shares how to untangle our minds from mental exhaustion to give way for our overall well-being, inner peace, and prosperity. For Nadia, mental exhaustion is the state of mind in constant worry and restlessness without any prospect for resolution. Initially, it seems worrying, but it’s actually a fear in disguise. For this reason, she shares her valuable insight on how to free your minds from the entrapment of fear, worry, and mental distress. According to Nadia, the starting point lies in being aware of how you truly feel about yourself without the pretensions and denial. Deciding to face your deep-seated troubles is one way to help you gradually set your mind free.Have faith and believe. Nadia firmly believes that you have the power to find the positive within the negative. Remember to be mindful of your thoughts because your thoughts affect your feelings, which affect your actions. And finally, it’s your actions that create your reality and the life you live.

164 - How to discover you life purpose
Nietzsche said, “He who has a why to live can bear almost any how.” Likewise, Nadia believes that knowing your purpose leads to achieving your dream life, keeps your fears at bay, and makes you more resilient. According to Nadia, we all have a purpose, but not everyone gets the chance to tap into it. For this reason, Nadia shares a pearl of her wisdom on how to discover our own purpose in life. For one, the key is learning to accept and embrace the unknown. She encourages you to learn to explore the ideas in your mind because time goes on, even if you don’t. Moreover, Nadia highlights the value of time to properly manage and use it wisely: you can either get frustrated or get busy. At the end of the day, discovering your purpose allows you to overcome any challenge, suffering, or misfortune and situates you in a place of happiness, peace, and meaningful life. Finally, Nadia is telling us to not let fear rule and control our lives. After all, life is a journey that’s meant to be explored.

163 - How to Turn Your Addiction Into Passion
In this episode, I’m going to share how you can turn addiction into passion. This episode is for you if You are fed up with what you are currently getting in your life. You know deep inside that you can achieve more. You want to get out of a rut.You are conscious that your unhealthy habits are robbing you of your happiness. First thing first, let’s define what addiction is?An addiction is an unhealthy habit repeated so often that it has taken control of your mind and over righted your best judgment. It’s like a computer virus causing havoc in your operating system. An addiction is an illusion often created to suppress an unpleasant feeling or false belief that made you believe that you need something or someone outside of you to feel good inside. What makes it hard to overcome an addiction is that nobody likes to admit that they are addicted to something. We want to believe we are in control. However, if you’ve seen anyone obsess with an addiction, you can tell that it’s the addiction that controls that person.Although it feels immensely pleasurable while in it, in the long run, the addiction is not sustainable and it will wear you down, stealing away your happiness and your personal independence. My aim in sharing this message is to inspire you to channel your energy towards something more constructive that will make you happy without being co-dependent on something or someone.

162 - Why is it so hard to change?
Everyone has dreams and goals of their own, but only a few actually make them happen. And so you wonder, “what makes it so hard to turn my life around?”In this episode, Nadia explains why some people who seek change either never get past the starting line or never reach the finish line. That said, Nadia shares her valuable insight on how to face and endure the grueling process of change. According to Nadia, the first step is awareness. Self-knowledge gives you the wisdom to evaluate your capacity to go through change no matter what it takes. Secondly, faith is the antidote to fear. Don’t be fearful of the unknown. Although nothing in life is guaranteed, nothing is still more terrifying than regret.Nadia reminds us to pursue this journey with love because we never give up on what we love. Lastly, Nadia says that you can be who you want to be by embracing change and refusing to remain the person you are today. It will not be easy, and it will take time. But it’s definitely worth it.Have you ever why so many of us never get to live our dream life? What’s in the way of our intention that stops us in our tracks?

156 - Am I Happy?
Three words, eight letters, one question: "Am I happy?"A single question indeed, but potent enough to change your life. In this episode, Nadia takes us back into Jasmine's world and her quest for a happy and meaningful life.Jasmine doesn't have it easy. Life can be unkind and cruel regardless of one's status in life. You may have all the money in the world or be offered the greatest job and still feel unhappy inside. In this story, we see in Jasmine how sometimes success does not equate with happiness. And so, for almost 40 years, Jasmine lived her life on autopilot. For the longest time, she believed that she was living a happy and fulfilling life. She did not know it then, but her heart knew well, that it was all pretense — a disguise. After all, it was way easier to ignore the mess, rather than deal with it.But at the end of the day, Nadia reminds us that escaping is not the same as solving it. There is no other way around it, but to face it head-on. Nadia once said that no growth or change was ever easy. But then again, there's no such thing as an overnight success.Ultimately, Nadia tells us that life is what you choose to make of it. You have the power to take control of your life. It may be a tough and challenging road ahead, but Nadia's been with us since the beginning: guiding us, inspiring us, and helping us every step of the way towards achieving our own blissful and fulfilling life.Jasmine is still a work in progress. 155 - Are you ready for inner transformation
They say, “Curiosity killed the cat.” It makes sense at first glance because most people fear the uncertain and the unknown. And so they end up living their whole lives wanting to be somewhere but are actually stuck in limbo. What about you? Does your current life fulfill you? Are you ready for your inner transformation?Nadia introduces us to a woman named Jasmine, whose life revolves around her family. Although she’s physically well and lives in a beautiful home, Jasmine feels disconnected, especially from her husband. She wonders if that’s all there is to it.Her “happy-me” moments are when she walks to the park to sip her coffee, leaving behind the thought of cooking or cleaning. Sitting and breathing fresh air allows for some needed time to think and reflect about her life. In this episode, Nadia narrates a compelling tale about Jasmine’s curiosity, her willingness to act on it, and her courage to choose her own path. Nadia brings us into a world of struggle, growth, and change. It’s a story about you.Apparently, curiosity didn’t kill the cat. In its complete and unabridged version, “Curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back.” Nadia is telling us that no change is easy. No growth is ever comfortable. But if nothing ever changed, there’d be no such things as butterflies.

154 - How to unlock your core values' magic?
Nowadays, it's rare for people to get lost in malls, airports, or theme parks because there are directions or roadmaps available. But what about when we lose our way in life? When we feel lost, who do we ask? Who do we turn to when everything seems so uncertain? This is why Nadia shares with us the magic behind knowing your core values.According to Nadia, knowing your core values helps you know yourself even better. It makes you aware of your strengths, weaknesses, limitations and can help you discern what you want of life. As the great philosopher, Socrates said: "To know thyself is the beginning of wisdom."Financially speaking, being aligned with your core values helps you become wiser and mindful about your business ventures and investments. Personally, your core values serve as a moral compass within you to guide you through deceptive paths and protect you from manipulative people.Life will always be full of hurdles and challenges, but Nadia shows how core values also serve as an ultimate inspiration to keep you going. Like an eternal flame within that can never be put out, no matter how tough the situation may get.Overall, Nadia continues to inspire us in this episode by sharing the magic behind knowing your core values, how to unlock it, and how it plays a significant role in your life, success, and happiness.

153 - Do you dare revealing your true self?
Many suggest to be ourselves, but why so few dare? Most of us still live in fear of what others would think or say. Every day we hide behind our social masks to fit in and be accepted by society. In this episode, Nadia illustrates how courage plays a huge role in conquering your fear. The courage to stand out of the norm and assert yourself, unbothered, and untouched by others’ opinion of you.Nadia encourages you to trust the process, for it takes time. But when you finally dare to reveal yourself and let go of every pretense, you become lighter in heart and soul. In doing so, it gives you the key to unlocking the door to your happiness. Remember, no matter what is going on in your life, you have the power to be yourself. The challenge is the willingness to act on it.No price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself. And there’s no greater freedom than being the master of your own life. Finally, Nadia reminds us that to live an extraordinary life, you must first choose and decide to live your life extraordinarily.

152 - Why Don't New Year Resolution Stick?
Most of us can easily set goals and New Year resolutions, but what makes it so hard to achieve them? It appears that wishing for goals is easier than done. Why is that?In this episode, Nadia not only warns us of the pitfalls that will distract us from achieving our goals but also goes deeper in explaining the driven energy behind high achievers. Nadia illustrates thoroughly how to convert your passion and enthusiasm into a powerful energy source that is vital for your goal’s achievement and success. The first step is to align your goals with your core values; otherwise, it will be easy to quit at the first sign of defeat. When your goals align with your life’s purpose, it’s no longer a goal. You are taking a stance. When you reach that place in your mind, your goal becomes non-negotiable and defeat is not an option. This state of mind is crucial at first because without realizing it, your new passion will most likely trigger some discomfort in your environment, and they may attempt to stop you from your dream. Nadia reminds you that no one else controls your life but you. Thus, you are your only limit. The next challenge is to find the right balance between passion, enthusiasm, and warrior energy. Warrior energy is great, at first, to help you create new habits. However, it’s your passion and enthusiasm that will sustain you in the long run and help you turn hard and laborious tasks into a blissful and rewarding journey.

150 - Is There Such Thing as a Magic Pill
Have you ever dreamt of finding the “magic pill” that would guarantee success and happiness? What if this magic pill already exists? In this episode, Nadia unravels the secret to finding your “magic” that may solve your problems. The first step is to change your perception. We are never too old to start something new. The second step is to train your mind to see roadblocks and unfavorable events as an avenue for growth and learning. You focus on the lesson to be gained, not the disappointment.Nobody likes to make mistakes, which is often the reason why we fear doing something new. However, the very key to finding your magic is a leap of faith. Go for it. Take that risk. After all, the greater the risk, the greater the reward, especially when something is worth pursuing.Liberate yourself from the expectations your parents or school, or society has set upon you.Society has taught us to believe that we are flawed when, in reality, we are perfect in our own creation. What appears to be imperfection is our uniqueness. No two humans are the same. However, we all have something in common: the ability to overcome any adversity by shifting our thoughts. After all, mistakes are simply experiments that lead to wisdom. There is no shortcut to success. However, a journey well lived is the one that leads you to believe that your magic is worth sharing with the world.
