2 Aspects of the Same Person

from Trauma Recovery Anonymous · host richiejtierney

The more you invest in this idea of a healing solution for your mental  disorder diagnosis, the more you will realize we are talking about two different aspects of the same person from two different lifetimes. There is the you of today, foolishly suffering the pains and hurts of a different aspect of the same you, from your history Then, there is that younger aspect of you who suffered, endured, survived and overcame their trauma, but are unable to cross over into the light, because their future you, the you of today is holding them hostage to this fallen world. All they want is to leave this plane of existence, but they can't until you let them go. They need you to come to the truth yourself, they know it wont work, me telling you, it has to be you, recognizing your truth that the past is none of your business.   Can you imagine how idiotic it would be, if you were to select a good memory from your past, and relive that event over and over again? Can you imagine all the time you are thinking about this past success, reliving it over and over again? You are driving your family and friends crazy, they want you to just stop and get on with your life? And then one day, you have a spiritual awakening moment and you realize you cannot accomplish anything new, anything in the present, until you let go of that past win. Can you imagine what that moment of truth might feel like? If you were to truly imagine this scenario, how would you describe this behavior? how would you explain it? Now, replace that good feeling memory with the trauma memory, and recognize you are your own worst enemy. You are not living your life in the present, you chose to bring the death, decay, and disease of that dead thing of a younger aspect of you from your past, into your present, and it is destroying everything and everyone it touches You are doing all of this to you You can no longer blame you past, or other people.  In this moment, all your pasts are not present in your life, except when you choose to  give life to them.   This is where Trauma Recovery Anonymous comes to the rescue.
