Parisien d’origine, Ludovic du Plessis démarre sa carrière dans les vins et spiritueux chez LVMH, comme Brand Manager pour Dom Perignon, avant de s'occuper de Moët et Chandon et Dom Perignon pour le marché américian . Il revient en France en 2014 pour prendre les rênes de la marque de Cognac Louis XIII, avant de se mettre en quête d'un domaine en Champagne qu'il souhaiterait acquérir. En 2019, il rachète avec l’appui du groupe Rémy Cointreau la maison de champagne, J. De Telmont 🍾, qui coche toutes les cases de son projet.
