She connects entrepreneurs, investors, and corporations in order to diversify their talent pipeline, increase equity, and grow their brands. Black Girl Ventures, founded in 2016 as a solution to wealth disparity and lack of access to capital. It began with its signature event, the BGV Pitch Competition. It is the largest program for black and brown women identifying entrepreneurs in the world. Think Shark Tank meets Kickstarter, where everyone in the audience gets to be a shark. How amazing is that? Since BGV started, it has raised $2.6M in financial and social capital and tapped into the lives of 20,000 people from 65 countries through BGV events and programming. On March 25, Manifestation Babe is partnering with Black Girl Ventures to host a pitch competition. It will be open to everyone within our community who identifies as a black or brown entrepreneur. They can apply to pitch their tech-enabled revenue-generating businesses. Everybody in our audience will be able to directly donate to any of the women pitching their businesses.
