#206 - Daryl "Sweetie" Walker

Daryl Walker, aka "Sweetie," is the owner and pitmaster of Sweetie's Bar-B-Q. Sweetie has been barbequing since his early teens and in the kitchen with his parents since he was a young boy, preparing food for large family gatherings, church events, and much more. In January 2022, Sweetie & his wife, Trisha "The Boss," started Sweetie's Bar-B-Q Food Truck and began selling food 2 days a week while still working full-time jobs as a General Contractor & Mental Health Therapist. Quickly realizing how much they loved feeding people and how much people loved the food they were eating, Sweetie's Bar-B-Q decided to give it a go on their first brick-and-mortar take-out restaurant. Sweetie has been traveling all over the country competing and winning BBQ competitions almost every weekend, chasing the dream to become a World Champion.
