30. When you stop trying to control the uncontrollable

from Embracing Imperfection Hosted by Marnie Lafrance

In this episode Ever find yourself getting frustrated over a situation that you have no control over? No matter how hard you try or how frustrated you get it won’t change the outcome? So why do we do this to ourselves. The defining element in any outcome or situation is how we respond. Our lives would be so much better and happier if we could learn to let go of control over the things that are uncontrollable. This would give us much more time to focus our efforts on that which we can control. Less stress = more happiness = better health. Key Take aways 1. We cannot control the uncontrollable 2. We will go through hard things but what you go through you grow through 3. Life happens for us not to us 4. When we don’t try to force things and instead accept what is, life gets easier “Anything you can’t control is teaching you how to let go” ― Jackson Kiddard Follow me on Instagram
