Today's episode I'm chatting with Kevin Rempel. He is a 2013 World Champion and 2014 Sochi Paralympic bronze medalist in sledge hockey who has an incredible story of overcoming a tremendous amount of adversity.Kevin was paralyzed after a motocross accident in 2006 and had a long road of recovery. While he was battling his own life changing struggle, his father, who had also been paralyzed several years before, took his own life. He wasn't able to move on and live with his injury. Kevin has learned from his father that when you have every reason to give up, you need to keep going. We can all learn to be the hero of our own story but it's up to us to decide what path we will take.
