Rusty Burson is currently the Director of Membership and Communications at Miramont Country Club in Bryan, Texas. He previously spent 16 years as the associate editor of 12th Man Magazine and vice president with the 12th Man Foundation. Burson, a 1990 graduate of Sam Houston State, began his professional career as a newspaper reporter and editor in Galveston and Fort Worth. After leaving the newspaper industry, Burson took a role in municipal public relations and became an editor for numerous business publications in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Burson joined the 12th Man Foundation, the fundraising organization for Texas A&M athletics, in 1998 and joined Miramont in 2014.
