56. How to survive a multi-year refit

from Liveaboard Sailing Podcast

This week we are going all in on boat projects! 🛠 My guests are Chris and Kelly from Youtube channel Sailing Adrift and they have just recently completed a multi-year refit of their sailboat from the early 1970s. In fact, at the time of recording, they were just one week away from splashing and it was really great to chat with Chris and Kelly at this point in their journey. They had been working really, really hard, completely rebuilding the boat – and they filmed the whole thing for Youtube – and they actually didn’t have any sailing experience, so all this work was built on the idea that the sailing life will be as amazing as they think it is. So join us as we chat about how they survived the multi-year refit, what it entailed and what’s next.Links mentioned in this episode ⬇️ 🎥 Sailing Adrift on Youtube 🖥 Sailing Adrift website📸 Sailing Adrift on Instagram⛵️ Check out Outer Passage for liveaboard sailing adventures on a trimaran ➡️ Mention the podcast for 10% off! This podcast is brought to you with curiosity, kindness and a big sailing dream. You can explore more episodes, show notes and ways to support the show at liveaboardsailingpodcast.comFollow our community on Instagram & Facebook: @liveaboardsailingpodcastIf this episode inspired you, please rate or review the show; it makes a world of difference!Guest inquiry formHave a story to share?
