A Warning to Mental Health Professionals

from Trauma Recovery Anonymous · host richiejtierney

A thought must be taken for all mental health professionals, the hard, arduous task they have when it comes to diagnosing mental disorders. There is a passage in the Bible that expresses the dire situation they face. It talks about the harvest being great and not enough farmers. 'It's very much the same with mental health professionals and the number of people coming for help.' There are so many to be treated that mental health professionals need to make rash diagnoses in as little as 15 minutes. And from a recent study by the mental health industry. [The National Library of Medicine ], we see that 39% of people diagnosed were misdiagnosed. And when it comes to 290 million children between the ages of 10-19 being diagnosed with mental disorders, this is a whopping 120 million children misdiagnosed. This in itself is a crime against humanity, destroying the future of the human race and a sin against God. The Bible clearly speaks about the Wrath of God. If we harm one hair on the head of a child of God, how our sin is visited on our children and descendants for 7 generations. I believe teachers and parents should step into the breach of raising young children and teach them that anxiety and depression are healthy, God-given instincts to be trusted in the face of any danger, real or imaginary, so that mental health professionals are making fewer misdiagnoses of young children. We have to work together to protect God's children and the future of the human race.' To place this responsibility on mental health professionals is a dereliction of duty by parents and teachers. They are the first and second line of defense, and it's up to them to teach children that their feelings and emotions are not mental disorders; they are gut feelings in action to take the appropriate action Flight Fight Freeze Fawn Faith Acceptance The Bible stated that if we harm one hair on the head of a child of God, a misdiagnosis would be such an infraction; we face the wrath of God, an eternity in hell, and the sins of the father/mother visited on their descendants for 7 generations #howtolivestressandanxietyfree24hoursaday #healinganytraumamemory #traumarecoveryanonymous #anxiety  #depression
