In the firelit tavern of Helm's Break in the town of Packer's Den, we find our Transmutation gnome wizard, Flynnigan Cogwright Merryweather Thistledown Whistlepot Brightberry Orzook (yes, that is his real name) at his normal table.  With some of his past traveling companions injured or traveling, Flynnigan has found himself partied with the Firbolg Hermit Druid, Gabar and a paladin of Saint Cuthbert, Zelseris.  Within the space of twenty minutes they are presented with two adventures.  Will they retrieve the fallen body of Anaya for her fiancé, the rich shipper Raphail Manalou, from the depths of a dwarven mine that befell a deadly accident?  Or will they find the people transporting an ancient elven relic being brought secretly to the dwarven capital Forge Fall that have failed to show up in Packer's Den for the hand off?  Will their choice have consequences?... time will only tell...
