Patrick Bateman (Christian Bale) fits in, he's engaged to Evelyn (Reese Witherspoon), he's sleeping with Courtney (Samantha Mathis), keeps himself to a rigorous routine of self care, works on Wall St. with his fawning secretary, Jean (Chloe Sevigny). Along with his associates Bryce (Justin Theroux), McDermott (Josh Lucas), VanPatten (Bill Sage) and that dork, Carruthers (Matt Ross) they lord over NYC and after hours, Patrick picks up ladies like "Christie" (Cara Seymour) and stabs them to death and plays around in their blood. Soon Paul Allen (Jared Leto) becomes the object of Patrick's obsession, his world begins to fall apart when after Paul goes missing and private detective Don Kimball (Willem Dafoe) is hired to look into their world. Reality and fantasy merge and Patrick spirals into his personal nightmare in American Psycho, this week on Doom Generation.
