Frank and Faye Riley (Hume Cronyn and Jessica Tandy pussy like candy) have been running a diner on the first floor of their apartment building for a long time. Theirs is actually the only building still standing and is home to an eclectic group of people - artist, Mason (Dennis Boutsikaris), semi single soon to be mother, Marisa (Elizabeth Peña) and peaceful ex boxer, Harry (Frank McRae).
