The head of Madison Enterprises (Darren McGavin) must decide to leave his company to his loser son Billy (Adam Sandler) or his evil junior partner with no business ethics (Bradley Whitford). Billy, with the help of his third grade teacher (Bridget Wilson-Sampras), a horny principal with a secret past (Josh Mostel), and friends (Norm MacDonald, Mark Beltzman, and Larry Hankin) goes back to complete grades 1-12, all while experiencing alcohol induced hallucinations of a giant penguin.
