Dyno is an Italian artist from the city of Pesaro and he is back on Gain Records for his sixth EP on the record label. Picking up regular DJ support by some of techno's most respected club spinners, Dyno has been releasing music since the '90s, and he has an impressive back catalogue that features music on other scene leading record labels ranging from UMEK's 1605 and Coyu's Suara to his own imprint Dyrwalk. This two-track EP features two gripping techno tracks that blend pulsating synths and driving percussion with intense atmospherics. "Sconquasso" opens the release with its textured vocal stabs, fizzing high-end percussion and pulsating sub-bass. The second track is the 'Dark and Drop Mix' of Sconquasso, an alternative version also produced by Dyno, and is a restructured version that builds towards a single more epic breakdown, whereas the original mix has two different breakdown sections.
