Cannabis is perhaps one of the most contentious topics of today, both from a societal and health perspective. In today’s episode, I am joined with cannabis advocate and store manager of Northern Helm Cannabis in Kingston, Ontario, Joanna Castles. After struggling with chronic pain for over a decade, Joanna discovered the true healing aspect of cannabis. Since then, she continues to actively use her platform both personally and professionally to help individuals cope with chronic pain, and further educate those on the true healing benefits that cannabis offers. Join our discussion as we break down the relationship between cannabis and chronic pain, address several underlying factors such as the benefits of cannabis and the controversy around it, and then open up a discussion on mindful consumption.
