El código actual solo tiene un artículo para fijar el cuantum de la pena. Se avanzó en el Código en el control judicial por parte de funcionarios específicos. Hay hipocresía si no hay un compromiso por parte del gobierno. Es así con toda ley. Estamos a disposición del debate para que salga la ley. Cuando prevés en un código circunstancias atenuantes difícilmente se incluye una casuística. Nosotros dimos más detalles respecto a lo que está previsto hoy en el Código vigente. Hoy perpetua no hay. En nuestra propuesta el condenado a treinta años tendrá que cumplir por lo menos tres tercios. Creo que saldrá pero no rápido. Espero que tenga el debate necesario.
