Choose No Other God but I

from Trauma Recovery Anonymous · host richiejtierney

Raised a Roman Catholic; disillusioned with that faith; losing my way, When I chose, drugs, or medication, alcohol or any other mood altering chemical, I was replacing Him with that substance. When I choose to identify with a mood disorder or condition, I was making the choice in that moment, to declare my God, that I would worship and invest all my time, energy and money in would be depression or ptsd, or some such. When i would not forgive myself of others, i was rejecting God. and there were his 3 principles that I had been breaking on a daily basis 1 Do not worship any other God but I 2. Do not use the Lord's name in vain 3 Do not harm one hair on the head of a child of God I think  I have covered the first point well enough The second point is psychologically proven; what we focus on we manifest into our lives; if we focus on the past, we are focusing on a dead thing and the death, decay and disease of that dead thing, destroys ourselves and everyone and everything it touches. We are not to give life to a dead thing, nor are we to attach His name to it, by declaring:  'I AM' that thing …. is the terrible mistake we make We are our own worst enemy   Finally understand, the greatest sin you can commit is to harm one hair on the head of a child of God. Know Jesus who died on the cross for us, to grant us salvation for all our sins, was a JEW!! If we are to declare ourselves as Christians, then the first line we draw in the sand must be:  We stand shoulder to shoulder with the descendants of Jesus, the chosen people of the Creator, The JEWISH nation. Anything less than that, is the worst sin we can possibly perform. if the Jewish people perform genocide, then that is between them and God, your job is to stand with the descendants of Jesus, as a Christian. We can't declare we are a Christian and against Israel also. Are you for Christ or an Anti- Christ? You have to make that decision and you need to  make it now, for the sake of your soul and that of your descendants for the next 7 generations
