Come, Let Us Sing for Joy (Ep 197)

from PocketNeif Podcast · host Mike Neifert

According to the writers of the Old Testament, our God is the great King above all gods. He is the Maker of all things, seen and unseen. Thinking on this recently and turning to Psalm 95 for inspiration, I wrote Come, Let Us Sing for Joy, to express my praise to the Ruler of all things. I pray you will be moved to worship as you listen. Come, Let Us Sing for Joy (Based on Psalm 95)  Verse 1: Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with our song. For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods. Verse 2: The highest heavens are his handiwork; the stars, the sun, the moon. In his hands are the mighty seas, the breakers that crash and foam. For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods. Bridge: Holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy is the Lord! Holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy is our King! Verse 3: Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord. For he is our Maker and we are his people, the flock under his care. For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods. Verse 4: The earth is his, for he made it; with a word he formed dry land. In his hands are the mountain peaks, every high and lofty hill. For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods. Repeat Bridge Verse 5: Come now, exalt him, the great King above all kings; Hallelujah! The Lord reigns! Let us all proclaim the Ruler’s holy name, his power, his glorious might. For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods. Verse 6: The trees of the forest, the grass of the fields; with one voice, they shout his praise. In his hands are all living things, every creature he’s given breath. For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods. Ending: Holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy is the Lord! Holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy is our King! Holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy is our God!Holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy is our King!
