Ab dem Jahr 2022 müssen gemäß der EU-Taxonomie-Richtlinie alle Banken, Versicherungen und kapitalmarktorientierte Unternehmen mit mehr als 500 Mitarbeitern für das Berichtsjahr 2021 entsprechend der NFRD reporten. Damit gibt es ab Januar 2022 für die betroffenen Unternehmen neue Berichtspflichten. Aktuell wird die Non-Financial Reporting Directive zudem von der EU-Kommission überarbeitet. Die Tendenz ist eindeutig: Immer mehr Unternehmen werden vom Non-Financial- Reporting betroffen sein. Im Gespräch sind aktuell Unternehmen ab 250 anstatt 500 Mitarbeitern.
