In a series of revelations to St. Maria Faustina Kowalska in the 1930s, our Lord called for a special feast day to be celebrated on the Sunday after Easter. Today, we know that feast as Divine Mercy Sunday, named by Pope St. John Paul II at the canonization of St. Faustina on April 30, 2000. Read more here!Sr. Piper Klatt is a member of the Women of Jesus’ Merciful Passion, a new community of consecrated women who live and serve at The Shrine of Jesus The Divine Mercy.Born and raised in a Catholic family in Northern Minnesota, Piper experienced God’s call to religious life during her junior year at Franciscan University. The call came while she was on a pilgrimage to the Divine Mercy Shrine in Kraków, Poland. Three years later, she joyfully responded to the Lord’s invitation.She gives all thanks and praise to God for leading her to the Shrine, where she now dedicates her life—alongside the other Consecrated women in the community—to spreading God’s mercy to the world.
