==Instagram & Note(Blog)==https://www.instagram.com/outsidejapclass/https://note.com/taitaijapclass==How to use the scripts=1.You can listen first and guess the meaning without the script.2.You can read the script while listening.3.You can also practise reading out loud with the audio.However there is no right or wrong way.You can also simply enjoy the content and listen to the podcast for fun.Just relax and enjoy the podcast==Japanese and English scripts==シンガポールの暑さについてAbout the Heat in Singaporeシンガポールの暑さについて話したいと思います。Today, I’d like to talk about the heat in Singapore.シンガポールは、暑い国です。Singapore is a hot country.私はシンガポールに住んで、4年ぐらいになります。I have been living in Singapore for about four years.それでも、今でも外に出ると、「暑いな」と思うことがよくあります。Even now, when I go outside, I often think, “It’s hot.”シンガポールでは、朝から暑いです。In Singapore, it is hot from the morning.ただ、朝の早い時間は、少し涼しいですよね。However, early in the morning, it feels a little cooler.涼しいといっても、だいたい7時前ぐらいまでですが。But only until around before seven o’clock.その時間に外に出ると、運動している人を見ることができます。If you go outside at that time, you can see people exercising.でも、8時や9時になると、家の外に出た瞬間に、「あ、暑い」と思います。But around eight or nine o’clock,the moment I go outside, I think, “Oh, it’s hot.”夜になると、少し変わります。At night, things change a little.夜は、風があって、外を歩くと、とても気持ちがいいです。At night, there is a breeze, and it feels very nice to walk outside.私は、夜に歩きながら、涼しい風を浴びるのが、わりと好きです。I quite like walking at night and feeling the cool breeze.昼と夜で、こんなにちがうんだなと、最初は少しびっくりしました。At first, I was a little surprised that daytime and nighttime were so different.外を歩くと、すぐに汗をかきます。When I walk outside, I start sweating right away.本当に、すぐに汗が出ます。Really, the sweat comes out immediately.少し歩いただけでも、背中や顔がぬれてきます。Even after walking just a little, my back and face become wet.シンガポールに来たばかりの頃は、本当にたくさん汗をかきました。When I first came to Singapore, I sweated a lot.朝、外に出るだけで、もうダラダラ汗をかいていました。Just going outside in the morning, I was already sweating a lot.そのときは、「どうして、こんなに暑いんだろう」と思っていました。At that time, I was thinking, “Why is it so hot?”でも今は、少し慣れてきました。But now, I’ve gotten used to it a little.同じ道を歩いても、前より、あまり汗をかかなくなった気がします。Even when I walk the same road,I feel like I don’t sweat as much as before.体がこの暑さに慣れてきたのかもしれません。Maybe my body has gotten used to this heat.では、日本と比べて、いつもシンガポールのほうが暑いかというと、そうではありません。So, is Singapore always hotter than Japan? Not really.夏の7月や8月ごろは、日本のほうが暑い日もあります。In summer, around July or August, there are days when Japan is hotter.とても暑くて、ニュースで見ることもありますよね。It can be very hot, and we sometimes see it on the news.私は、寒いところが、あまり好きではありません。I don’t really like cold places.だから、夏が大好きです。That’s why I love summer.この暑さは、私にとって、とても住みやすいと感じます。For me, this heat feels very comfortable to live in.最初は大変だと思った暑さも、今では、「これがシンガポールだな」と思います。At first, I thought the heat was tough, but now I think, “This is Singapore.”この暑さが、東南アジア、そしてシンガポールらしいなと、感じています。This heat feels very Southeast Asian, and very Singaporean to me.
