What kind of ramen do you like? I’m a big fan of Jiro-style ramen. Today I talk about my favourite kind of ramen — and how you can even eat it in Singapore.==Instagram & Note(Blog)==https://www.instagram.com/outsidejapclass/https://note.com/taitaijapclass==How to use the scripts=1.You can listen first and guess the meaning without the script.2.You can read the script while listening.3.You can also practise reading out loud with the audio.However there is no right or wrong way.You can also simply enjoy the content and listen to the podcast for fun.Just relax and enjoy the podcast==Japanese and English scripts==どんなラーメンが好きですか?What Kind of Ramen Do You Like?皆さんは、ラーメンを食べますか。Do you eat ramen?ラーメンは、日本の有名な料理の一つですよね。Ramen is one of the famous foods in Japan.味噌ラーメンや、塩ラーメンや、醤油ラーメンがあります。There are miso, salt, and soy sauce ramen.豚骨ラーメンも人気があります。Tonkotsu ramen is also very popular.皆さんは、どの味が好きですか。Which flavour do you like?私は、少し特別なラーメンが好きです。I like a slightly special kind of ramen.いわゆる、二郎系ラーメンです。It is what people call Jiro-style ramen.東京のお店から始まったスタイルです。This style started from a shop in Tokyo.そして、今はまねをしたお店もたくさんあります。Now, many shops copy this style.実は、シンガポールでも食べることができます。Actually, you can eat it in Singapore too.シンガポールにもあるんだと思って、見つけた時は嬉しかったです。When I found it, I felt happy and thought, “Oh, it’s here too.”とても大きいです。It is very big.器も大きいです。The bowl is big too.上には、たくさんのもやしがあります。There are lots of bean sprouts on top.山のようにのっています。They are piled up like a mountain.チャーシューも、大きいです。The pork slices are big as well.麺は太いです。The noodles are thick.かたい感じがあります。They feel firm and chewy.スープの味は濃くて美味しいです。The soup is strong in flavour and very tasty.にんにくも入れます。You can add garlic.油も多いです。There is a lot of oil too.正直に言うと、To be honest, 体にはあまり良くない気がします。it doesn’t feel very healthy.でも、とてもおいしいです。But it is very delicious.野菜を食べている気持ちにもなります。You also feel like you are eating vegetables.でも、ほとんどがもやしです。But most of it is just bean sprouts.それでも、少しだけ、罪悪感がやわらぐ気がします。Even so, it feels like the guilt becomes a little softer.お腹がとても空いているときに、食べたくなります。When I am very hungry, I want to eat it.お店に行くと、男性が多いです。When I go to the shop, there are many men.たくさん食べたい人に人気があります。It is popular with people who want to eat a lot.私も、ときどき行きます。I go sometimes too.毎日は食べられません。I cannot eat it every day.でも、しばらく食べないと、少し恋しくなります。But if I don’t eat it for a while, I start to miss it.お腹がすいている夜に、思い出します。On a hungry night, I remember it.そして、また食べに行ってしまいます。And then I end up going to eat it again.やめられないなと思います。I sometimes think I can’t stop.
