WE have all done this. We feel bad for someone's situation and want to help but if we help, we enable them to continue with their bad behavior or disease. But we feel sad and want to help, but if we don't then we feel like a piece of shit. IT'S A NEVER-ENDING CYCLE. I see it over and over and over.
