When is the best time to visit Japan? It’s a simple question, but the answer isn’t so simple. Beautiful seasons, unexpected challenges, and moments you don’t see online. Let’s talk about the real side of travelling in Japan.==Instagram & Note(Blog)==https://www.instagram.com/outsidejapclass/https://note.com/taitaijapclass==How to use the scripts=1.You can listen first and guess the meaning without the script.2.You can read the script while listening.3.You can also practise reading out loud with the audio.However there is no right or wrong way.You can also simply enjoy the content and listen to the podcast for fun.Just relax and enjoy the podcast==Japanese and English scripts==日本にいつ行ったらいいですか、とよく聞かれます。People often ask me, “When is the best time to go to Japan?”この質問に答えるのは、正直ちょっと難しいです。To be honest, it’s quite a difficult question to answer.なぜなら、どの季節にもそれぞれ良さがあると思うからです。Because I feel that every season has its own charm.でも、一つだけ言えることがあります。But there is one thing I can say.天気には気をつけた方がいいと思います。You should be careful about the weather.例えば、春になると花粉が飛びます。For example, in spring, pollen starts to spread.花粉症の人にとっては、少し大変な季節です。For people with hay fever, it can be a bit tough.そしてそのあと、梅雨が来ます。And after that, the rainy season comes.雨が思っているより長く続きます。The rain continues longer than you might expect.もしUSJのようなテーマパークに行く予定があったら、少し大変かもしれません。If you plan to visit a theme park like USJ, it might be a bit difficult.でも、その時期には紫陽花がとてもきれいに咲きます。But during that time, hydrangeas bloom beautifully.雨にぬれた紫陽花は、とてもきれいだと思います。Hydrangeas in the rain look especially beautiful, I think.そして梅雨が終わると、今度はとても暑くなります。And when the rainy season ends, it becomes very hot.日差しがとても強くて、外にいるだけで疲れます。The sunlight is very strong, and just being outside makes you tired.9月ごろまで、その暑さは続きます。That heat continues until around September.そしてその時期は、台風も多いです。And during that time, there are also many typhoons.もし台風の時期にUSJの予定があったら、少し心配になるかもしれません。If you have plans for USJ during typhoon season, you might feel a bit worried.予定が変わることもあるので、少し注意が必要です。Plans may change, so you need to be a bit careful.冬はどうでしょうか。What about winter?冬が好きな人も多いと思います。I think many people like winter.でも、日本の冬はとても寒いです。But winter in Japan is very cold.外は寒いのに、建物の中はとても暖かいです。Outside it’s cold, but inside buildings it’s very warm.その差が大きくて、困ることがあります。The difference is big, and it can cause some trouble.私の例を紹介しますね。Let me share an example from my own experience.外が寒いので、あたたかい服を着て出かけます。Because it’s cold outside, I wear warm clothes.でも、レストランに入ると、とても暑いです。But when I go into a restaurant, it’s very warm.そして、汗をかきます。And then I start sweating.そのあと外に出ると、とても寒いです。Then when I go back outside, it’s very cold.その結果、風邪をひきました。And as a result, I caught a cold.正直、意味がわからないなと思いました。Honestly, I didn’t understand what was happening.こうして考えると、シンガポールの生活は楽だなと感じます。When I think about it, life in Singapore feels easier.ここまで色々話しましたが、I’ve talked about many things so far,結局、どの季節にも楽しいところがあります。but in the end, every season has something enjoyable.季節によって、景色も食べ物もお祭りも変わります。The scenery, food, and festivals all change depending on the season.同じ場所でも、違う楽しみ方ができると思います。Even the same place can feel different and enjoyable.だから、好きな時期に行くのが一番いいと思います。So I think it’s best to go at the time you like.あまり完璧な答えではないかもしれませんが、It may not be a perfect answer,それも一つの答えかなと思います。but I feel that’s one way to answer it.
