from Sexology · host Dr. Nazanin Moali, Ph.D, Psychology of Sex | Couple Therapy | Sex Education

Welcome to episode 367 of Sexology Podcast! Today I am delighted to be speaking with Dr. Ricky Arenson. In today's episode, Dr. Arenson will be sharing his expertise on his recently published book titled "Women are Superior to Men." We will delve into the motivations and revelations that inspired his work, as well as delve into the complexities of relationships and the significance of comprehending dynamic interactions.  Dr. Ricky Arenson, raised under the shadow of Table Mountain in Cape Town, was deeply influenced by the societal divisions of Apartheid, fueling his commitment to bridging gaps in today's "identity politics." Diagnosed with ADHD in childhood, he channeled his energy into creative pursuits like drawing and poetry, developing a unique perspective that later enriched his personal and professional life.   Meeting his wife in medical school, Dr. Arenson's relationship blossomed from her initial academic encouragement into a deep admiration for her roles as a wife and mother. This experience shaped his views on gender roles, inspiring him to advocate for the joys and magic of enduring love and marriage.   An award-winning teacher and dual specialist in Endocrinology and Geriatric Medicine, Dr. Arenson is passionate about teaching relationship management as a key to happiness. His career, marked by significant roles in medical leadership, has been a journey in learning about humility, humanity, and the pursuit of happiness.   In his free time, Dr. Arenson enjoys family time, tennis, fitness, stand-up comedy, and finding creative ways to balance work and leisure.  Dr. Arenson discusses his book "Women are Superior to Men." Being inspired by observing common relationship conflicts The importance of understanding relationship dynamics  Why partners need to give each other attention to maintain intimacy  The challenges modern parents face in balancing children's needs  How hormones play a lesser role in libido than factors like relationship quality  Understanding biological and emotional differences between men and women   Stress Management Toolkit https://nazanin-moali.mykajabi.com/opt-in  Afternoon Delight Event https://www.eventbrite.com/e/afternoon-delight-a-live-podcast-experience-tickets-767718646137?aff=oddtdtcreator&fbclid=PAAaa4MHRYpHP__3FcrH5G8G1qoLafa6qm3FjHyTUo7y4YM1gb52iTz8Kezwg_aem_AY0LrKeHQTwVeCxZyS0OsxFNMf_Os87_jee5qNlmIVMC6-IEgyPrcWsQRm59i6iilH8    Instagram https://www.instagram.com/sexologypodcast  Podcast Produced by Pete Bailey - http://petebailey.net/audio Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

What I Love About Sex Stephanie Ganowski Stephanie Ganowski is a clinical sexologist and sex coach for men. In her podcast, “What I Love About Sex”, her mission is to take the pressure out of sex and put the pleasure in! She does this by helping men overcome their d*ck-related issues and improve their sex communication skills, so they can feel in control of their bodies and connecting deeply with their partners. Coaching clients 1:1 for 6+ years, with a background in psychology, relationship communication training and clinical sexology makes Stephanie the person you can trust to help you. She especially wants men to have a ‘go-to’ place for help here, so they feel they’re directly spoken to and supported.
