Episode #101: Intro

from Barely Regulated · host Adam Rose

First episode of Barely Regulated. A podcast for people who are trying to get their life together while also accidentally spending four hours on TikTok and emotionally attaching themselves to strangers online. In this episode, I talk about impending doom, high cortisol decision-making, nervous system chaos, and the weird shame of wanting a better life while also wanting to lie in bed and avoid every responsibility imaginable. We get into anxiety, doom scrolling, productivity culture, wellness delusion, and why nobody actually feels as emotionally stable as they pretend to online. This is not a self-help podcast hosted by someone who wakes up at 5am and drinks mushroom powder out of a concrete cup. I’m not a life coach. I’m just someone from South Carolina who has made enough bad decisions to start noticing patterns. If you’ve ever convinced yourself moving cities would fix your life, bought matcha hoping it would change your personality, or felt like everyone else secretly got instructions for adulthood that you missed, you’ll probably understand the vibe here. This first episode is basically me figuring out what this show is in real time. Thanks for listening while I try to build something honest out of the chaos.New episodes whenever emotionally possible.

Being regulated and taxed to fund governmentally monopolized services, under threats of being fined, arrested, punished, or even killed, necessarily sacrifices our needs for freedom and justice. In stark contrast we have the American spirit, which is about embracing liberty and realizing opportunities for creativity, win/win trade, and prosperity. Complete Liberty podcast explains not only the sundry ills of statism, but also the untold benefits of systems that respect and enable both freedom and responsibility. Let's leave domination systems in the dustbin of history.Visit the website for the Relationship Advice Thrive Therapy - Colter Bloxom, Lauren Mokarry, and Cayla Bozovich Relationship Advice helps listeners uncover the stuck spots in their relationships by taking expert advice from three licensed professional counselors and boiling it down into digestible tips and tools.
