Nově zvolený český prezident Petr Pavel se chce v zahraniční politice orientovat víc na Tchaj -wan. Už krátce po svém zvolení si telefonoval s tamní prezidentkou a byla to jedna z jeho prvních interakcí se zahraničím vůbec. Co to může znamenat pro český byznys? „Tchaj – wan je významný obchodní partner pro Českou republiku už několik let. I Čína je důležitá, ale co se týká investic, zůstali jsme daleko za očekáváním a obchodní spolupráce tam ne vždy fungují dobře. Některé české firmy proto začaly hledat alternativy v jiných asijských zemích: například ve Vietnamu, v Indonésii, či v Malajsii,“ tvrdí viceprezident Svazu průmyslu a dopravy Radek Špicar. A dodává, že podnikatelé doufají, že i v tomhle ohledu jim nový český prezident bude schopný pomoci a vydá se s nimi na obchodní mise i do těchto zemí. Miloš Zeman se i kvůli svým zdravotním problémům cestám s podnikateli v posledních letech nevěnoval. Česko je poměrně silně orientovaná ekonomika, ale téměř 90 procent exportu končí podle slov Špicara v Evropské unii a Češi se složitě prosazují na třetích trzích. Právě na těchto trzích je diplomatická role prezidenta důležitá, protože je tam ekonomika úzce provázaná s politikou. Jaká atmosféra podle něj teď panuje v českém průmyslu? Kolik firem se chystá letos propouštět? A jak moc český byznys trápí silná koruna? A jaký je výhled na rok 2023 a mají už firmy to nejhorší za sebou?
