Howard Langer, associate editor of Scholastic Teacher magazine, interviewed Douglas in his chambers in the Supreme Court building, via closed-circuit television. Douglas explains the role of the Supreme Court, especially in relation to interpreting the United States Constitution, and the mechanics of how the Court hears and decides cases.
