Gab Talks Scranton, Prom, Running & The Excitement of Her New Album

from Uncorked with Funny Wine Girl · host Jeannine Luby

Observances are great because they bring light to and attention on important issues and people. But that doesn't mean we just move on and forget just how important something is. The month of May may be over but that does not mean we stop experiencing, caring about and talking about mental health. Northeast PA had the pleasure of talking about and working to stop the stigma around mental health while also touting the power of humor to help us heal through a series of wonderful events with NAMI Northeast Region PA, Laugh to Live and Gab Bonesso! On this week's episode, Gab talks about the connection she felt with Scranton during her visit and the fond memories she created. She also talks about staying humble --thanks in part to a group of tired high schoolers at Prom--joining the ranks of race runners, and breaking the mold of comedy and so much more with her newly recorded album that has its highs and lows (like her life with bipolar disorder) with both comedic material and serious originally-composed songs. As always, it's an easy and fun conversation with Gab! If you live in the Philadelphia or Williamsport area of PA, check out Gab's upcoming events at her site. If you would like to support production of the original content published each week on Uncorked with Funny Wine Girl, consider making a donation to my Buy Me A Coffee page. You can also show support by sharing this podcast on your social media, writing a review and/or telling a friend about how awesome episodes are each week! And be sure to follow Funny Wine Girl Jeannine on Facebook and Instagram for wine fun and funnies, running inspiration and nature photos. As I always say, I appreciate you from the bottom of my heart and and the bottom of my wine glass. #FunnyWineGirlJeannine
