Paranormal psychologists, Egon Spengler (Harold Ramis), Ray Stantz (Dan Akyroyd) and Peter Venkman (Bill Murray) are facing expulsion from the University. They decide to go into business for themselves as spectral eliminators and their first client is a doozy. Dana Barrett (Sigourney Weaver) is just trying to live her best cellist life when she finds her fridge (then herself) possessed when her nerdy neighbor Louis (Rick Moranis) follows, bringing about the coming of Gozer.
